Al Horford is a vital piece to the Hawks future. He's a double-double guy where Swift and Sene are two nobodies. Horford was the #3 pick in the draft last year and viewed as an immediate impact type guy, which he has been.

Just saying if you post a trade on OS know that most are going to point out whether or not it's realistic. Your trade is very, very unlikely.

However it's your game, do what you want.

Dont know if you saw my post about the cpu teams ignoring the salary cap and being able to sign anyone they want. Has anyone here playing a franchise noticed this too?

About the Radman trade. A very balanced trade, actually I think that you give up way more with Delonte. But since you just cant make it happen with him its okay. I mean Radman is a good, solid shooter. He does not bring anything else to the table imho but you seem to be more the jumpshooter. So give this trade a shot.

About the Horford trade. Unrealistic. Simple and plain.

So I pulled a trade in my Mavs Association. I really dont trade often and never unreallistically.
I put James Singleton on the trading block and the Rockets offered me a 2009 first rounder and Von Wafer.
The Rockets needed a backup SF and I wanted a pick -> perfect.
I waived Von Wafer (haha^^) later since he only has a 1 year 700k deal and I cant give him playing time (Terry, Stack, Green).

So it seems like I just cannot build a streak. Lost to the Clippers in OT and the Suns (with Steve Nash hitting crucial freethrows 0.9 secs left). After that I totally dominated the Hawks but fell short to the Spurs in the next game. Its tough. Im 9-10 now. I really start to understand how to use my perimetre guys instead of pushing things with Dirk. But still down the stretch I just cant win often enough.

You say the Horford trade was unrealistic then act like anyone not under the influence would trade a 1st for James Singleton.

Ok so I'm doing a fantasy association and I played 20 games so far. and Hedo Turkoglu has been playing terrible. The last game was against the wizards and he shot 1/10 from the field I was able to make all his free throws but damn I dunno what to do anymore to get him out of this slump lol.

I decided to start one with the Lakers I guess you could call it a fantasy one but with no fantasy draft. I still have my real with with the Heat I have just been playing my Laker one right now. I traded Pau Gasol for Elton Brand and I traded Sasha Vucacic for George Mason because Vucachic was unhappy. I will probably keep my current roster so long as everyone stays happy. I also traded Lamar Odom for Rudy Gay.
              My lineup is
              Fisher
              Bryant
              Gay
              Brand
Bynum and on the bench I have
              Farmar
              Mason
              Walton
              Mihm
              Powell who get playing time.

Struggling as the OKC Thunder. Only 4-9 right now, was just on a 5-game losing streak, I really suck with Kevin Durant.

                    UPDATE

So I experienced this bizarre crowd glitch after signing Lebron in '10. Thus, I had to carry on my assoc from an earlier date. Went through the whole off-season again and Lebron opted for the Kings instead of your beloved Knicks. This is my lineup instead:

                    Starters

                    G - Lester Hudson (78)
                    G - Joe Johnson (89) signed to 5 yr/ 65 or something mil contract
                    F - Wilson Chandler (91)
                    F - David Lee (83)
                    C - Marcus Camby (83) signed to 1 yr/ 4 mil contract

                    Bench

                    G - Antonio Daniels (74) 1 yr/ 1.8 mil contract
                    G - Terrence Williams (79)
                    F - Danilo Gallinari (83)
                    F - Malik Allen (71) 1 yr contract
C - Kurt Thomas (73) 1 yr at league minimum
                    C - Jordan Shaw (67) [7 ft rookie]
                    G - Lowell James (67) [rookie]

Can't wait to play the Kings and show Lebron what's good. I think I like this team pretty well anyway.

stewaat, your squad is looking super solid. I like the fire power you have coming off the bench with Boobie and Radmanovic.

What's your lineup? Jeff Green seems like he'll turn into a beast in a few years, how are you with him?

Even worse. The thing that sucks is I was good with both of them when I was the Sonics in 2K8. But it's all part of the challenge I guess. Of course, in 2K8, I was the third seed in the playoffs with a Durant, Delonte West, Green, Collison, and Wilcox starting line-up with the Sonics. But I think 2K9 makes it harder for crappier teams to win, unless it's just my sliders.

I'm not complaining, they are just a bad team overall.

Of course, you be able to read it in my Dynasty I have in the dynasty section.

Wow Chandler is a 91! Honestly I like this squad much better because you have some sort of defensive presence. Camby is a great defensive center and Lee at the 4 is going to make him even better. You've got T-Will and Gallinari off the bench with a vet PG and C with Daniels and K. Thomas.

Joe Johnson is a great guy to have as the cornerstone guy. He can do it all and you should put him at the point every once in a while so you can get T-Will and Gallinari out there too. What are Hudson's shooting ratings? Having a PG who can knock down shots is huge in this game.

I think I went from Pretender to Contender with the moves. I have won both games against Western teams on the road. I beat the Grizzlies 117-89 with a dominating 2nd half performance and I was able to outscore Houston 29-19 in the final frame to steal a win 102-96.

Against the Griz LeBron had 51 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast, and 2 steals. I got my first triple-double with him against HOU (22-10-11).

Radmanovic was the key against Houston with a huge 4th quarter. The game was tied 94-94 and he hit 3 straight shots to give me a 100-94 lead and he had 15 pts off the bench.

                        Here are some stats:
                        PG - Mo Williams - 10.9 ppg, 6.1 apg
                        SG - Roger Mason - 11.0 ppg, 2.5 apg, 1.0 spg
SF - LeBron James - 30.6 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 6.7 apg, 1.9 spg (37.1 mpg out of 40! He has 99 in almost everything)
                        PF - Rasheed Wallace - 14.3 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.0 bpg
                        C - Ian North - 8.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.6 bpg

                        PG - Daniel Gibson - 14.9 ppg, 3.4 apg, 21-41 3pt
PF - Vladimir Radmanovic - 13.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg (In 2 games with CLE)

Then there's McDyess and Etan Thomas off the bench with rookie Joey Hill.

                        Central Standings:
                        CLE (5-2)
                        DET (4-2)
                        CHI (3-2)
                        IND (4-4)
                        MIL (2-2)

                        Notable records:
                        ATL (4-2)
                        HOU (6-2)
                        OKC (4-2)
                        LAC (7-2)
                        PHI (4-0)

                          Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

So i decided to start my final / perfect association with yet again the Cleveland Cavaliers and play 29 game seasons and hopfeully play a few seasons before MLB the Show 09....

First I pulled off a trade that was in the talks in real life so I figured I would pull it off just so i could change the squad up a bit and have a little more fun in my "Imaginary Real Life Assoc."

Cavs Get : SG Vince Carter

Net Get : SG Wally Szczerbiak (expiring contract)
                          Cavalaiers '09 First-Round Pick
                          Cavaliers '10 First- Round Pick

I did this in order for the cavs to win NOW as in this NBA season...and also i just HATE Wally

                          Starting Lineup :
PG Mo Williams / D West
                          SG Vinsanity / Boobie Gibson
SF King James / Sasha Pavlovic ( might deal if he doesnt produce for me...which he almost always doesnt)
PF Big Ben / J.J. Hickson
                          C Ilgauskas / Varajeo

First Game : Wizards Win 114-73

This was the first time I've actually dominated and just killed a team since I've been using my current sliders, the Wiz were just flat-out terrible, I think Deshawn Stevensen missed 20 shots
                          Vince Carter - 30 pts 5 rebounds 3 assists
                          Mo Williams - 28 pts 8 assists
                          Lebron James - 22 pts 9 rebounds 8 assists

I'm pretty confident I'll have a very very good shot at the championship my first year

                            Vince Carter - 30 pts 5 rebounds 3 assists
                            Mo Williams - 28 pts 8 assists
                            Lebron James - 22 pts 9 rebounds 8 assists

I'm pretty confident I'll have a very very good shot at the championship my first year
As a Cavs fan, that is one godly trade. Althought I would move Boobie to PG and DW to SG. That is a championship bound team.

Ya, I'm sort of mixing the two of them at the different positions to see who I like better. I like Delonte more of a slasher at PG and I like Boobie to come of more screens and work to get open shots....we'll see however

Lebron and T-Mac have been neck and neck all year, right now LeBron is #1. Kone, Wade, and yao seem distant candidates.

OJ Mayo is #1 despite Mr. Oden being the 3 time reigning Rookie of the Month. Oden is 2nd with averages of 16.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.2 apg, .8 spg, 2 bpg and 71.3 FG %.

Shard and Derrick Rose are battling it out.

No surprise here, the top 3 are KG, Duncan, and Howard

Bobby Jackson and Eric Piatkowski, both of the Kings, are the top 2.

                                PG- Sergio Rodriguez ( 73 )
                                PF- Ike Diogu ( 70 )

                                SF- Antoine Walker ( 73 )

After a rough 3 game losing streak, I am 5-1 in my last 6, including HUGE home wins over the Spurs and and Lakers to keep me safely in 3rd in the West and inching closer to 2nd and the Lakers (who I have the tie breaker over as of now, one more meeting left).

Jerryd Bayless has been unconscious with the mid range J. His D has been stifiling and really is causing the opponents chaos when he presses non stop.

Playoffs seem like a lock as does the division. Now to play for pride and keep at least the 3rd seed if not surpassing the Lakers.
