Yes. I thought I read they had the KG/Pierce "yell" on the jumbotron but haven't seen it/guess it's not in (unless it's a playoff thing or I haven't played enough games at Boston)
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

I have only seen KG's "Bang Head on Basket Support" Intro. But I know that some teams have multiple intro cut scenes, i.e. VC's pull up on the net, and D12's shimmy dance for the Magic. Just depends who Kevin Harlan is spot lighting in the "keys to the game" segment which triggers the referenced players intro. I check on the K.G. powder this afternoon, because I think I saw it in one of those promo vids.

Edit, Spankdatazz has just confirmed K.G. powder into cut scene...although its not really a cut scene since its all real time...lol

Two thumbs up for the change.
            1 million% improved over 2k9!
I agree it's sooooooo much better, great job 2k!

They also have won with KG just walking around yelling.

So wait a minute Pared…..You think having everyone on a scale of really fast, fast and medium is a good thing. I mean Lebron jump shot is too fast now. Kobe jump shot looks like Granger speed (not form but speed). Yes your right those guys who have slow release last year go blocked must of the time. But that’s the point. Don’t you think they should be more skill of knowing your players. What spots to get them in for a open jump shot. Everyone shouldn’t be guns of glory fast. I mean even Posey shot was too fast to fast in my opinion. In 2k9 they had it prefect. Those shot that Boozer and Duncan had were slow.

With all that I said. It doesn’t mean I hate it. I just like the factor in 2k9. They was a style for everyone. With everyone on this “real fast, fast, medium scale. They is no learning curve when picking up a team.

Also, I think the 2k made this faster sig shots is make more people shoot. I only meant about 3 people out of 1000 that can could shoot with LeBron or Duncan (and Boozer for that matter).<O</O<O</O

My player question. You know how Pared made a thread asking ways to improve the teammate grading system during games? Well has anything been added or is that something that will be patched?

I wish I could tell you DC. I only played about 10 matches last night. Because I wanted to see more of the gameplay. I'll probably get to the my player tonight or tomorrow.

But why are people complaining about draw and kick game of the computer. I love it. It just seems so real. I haven't played anyone cheesing yet. So I don't know if anything is cheesy really. My friend was pretty much sim. i don't know if you can dribble around with your big men like last year. On offense I thought it was too easy. I felt like te fg% was way higher.

I haven't heard anyone complaining about clutch factor yet. Anyone want to share. `The one thing I really really like though is the PS3 interface. Now if you want to challenge a friend it is as easy as....1,2,3 square. The challenge appears on your screen. and takes you right to the game. You can enter lobbies from the square button. It pretty cool. I have to give it on 2k this part of the game

After blowing 4th quarter leads of 15,10, and 20 ( Although I held on just barely to win all three games), I turned off clutch factor. We all know that the NBA is a game of runs, but artificially inducing close games for the sake of having close games was not cutting it for me, so I turned it off. If the CPU is blowing me out, then so be it. If i am blowing out the CPU, then so be it.

Don't think it has been changed, other than you get the bonus for doing the drills AND the skill points. It was just a bonus in the DC.

The shot are still slow enough to be blocked though.

ANYONE will tell you the shots last year were just ridiculously slow. Duncan, Boozer, even Ray Allen's shot were not a true representation of their game.

Yes, you can play with them.

                          Yes, they were slower.

However, they were unrealistically slow. The way they squared up, jumped, hung, brought their arms back, THEN shot was just poor design.

The biggest complaint from people last year? The jumpshots were unresponsive and too slow. It's been fixed this year.

Instead of using last year as a baseline (since they were so drawn out) use real players as a baseline. The comparison is much better this year.

Hmmmm well at least they're much quicker than last year. That one of my major issues with 2k9. I wanted to do a simple pump fake-step in jumper without the defense recovering so damn quickly and not having to wait 5 seconds for the animation to complete.

                            Thanks Pared.

Its great to read your strong points Pared. Yes I do agree they were not true representation of real life players. Lets not even get into Ray Allen last year...lol

We all know that the NBA is a game of runs, but artificially inducing close games for the sake of having close games was not cutting it for me, so I turned it off. If the CPU is blowing me out, then so be it. If i am blowing out the CPU, then so be it.

Well last year you could turn it off. But that momentum was so much more stronger. In every league that I was in 2k9 had the clutch factor turned off. But still players or teams would be 20 and make these long/large runs. Because of damn momentum...lol Since you have turned it off. Do you see any weirf come backs. because all the games i played were either really close. Or a major blowouts. Even in the blowout. They never seriously made a come back.
