The presentation is so damn good in this game and the My Player has me truly addicted.

Does anyone else notice the crowd going totally silent at random times, mostly in my player games?

just simulated a season to see how year 2 was.. i couldnt wait. lebron got picked up by the nets and all sorts of other trades happened. but the best part was they mentioned lebron leading the league in scoring in the prior season.. so i honestly feel commentary could never get old with the format they are going with..

just great stuff... now if only all elements were as polished as the new presentation

This. The commentary and in game stuff is so wicked. I hope they fix the broken sim stats and percentages in My Player. If not for those two things, I'd be in bliss with that mode.

This is the best sports game I've played since NFL 2K5. The dynamic commentary is worth the purchase alone. The game really immerses you into the action; you feel like you're really there.

I haven't played a NBA game since 2K7 and I was always a big fan of the 2K series going back to the very beginning when I played it on the Sega Dreamcast. So for me buying 2K10 after a hiatus of 3 years has been a blessing. It seems very fresh to me and I am loving it so far. The presentation is amazing, the crowd is amazing. The game play seems good so far. It is a lot easier to get "immersed" in the games which has been my biggest complaint about the football video games lately (football is my favorite sport).

<meta http-equiv="CONTENT-TYPE" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><title></title><meta name="GENERATOR" content="OpenOffice.org 3.1 (Win32)"><style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> I'm sold. The controls are taking some time to get down with the PC but I am finally seeing the improvements. With proper roster editing this game is going to be amazing. This is the best, most challenging CPU AI and play I have ever seen in a sports video game.

In 2k9 I tweaked the players until they started to play like they should in real life. But the problem was where they caught the ball on the court and the moves they used. In 2k10 they solved a lot of this. And they added plays, especially plays I wanted(pick n pops).

Besides messing up the stupid silhouettes 2k pretty much nailed this game. Right now I don't know of anything that I think is missing.

Well done 2k. Well done. Time to start the modding!

WOW, I can't wait to get to year 2 when I start my association. I will definitely make that happen. The commentary is another thing that will keep this game fresh for the entire year.

I was told you could map the iso moves to the stick is that true?
Can anyone give me some pointers or using ISO moves?

Wait a minute? You never knew that? The default control has the dribble move mapped into the left stick. Now if your talking about mapping them into the right stick. You have to go to control settings and change the scheme to Alt B

Game is really fun to play, but I think they need to give us more control over the shooting animations. A great deal of the player shooting animations have been sped up to the point where I barely even press the button that long and they're already releasing the shot. I think they should take a flyer from Live next year and give us full control of the jumpers and use true LS momentum control for leaners/fades instead of the RS.

On a separate note, I noticed the Lakers' home court paint color is way too dark. I remember this was a complaint many Lakers fans had back in 2K8 and it was addressed for 2K9. Why did the art designers change the already FIXED paint color from last year and revert back to the wrong color this year? That really doesn't make much sense to me. Once again I question the talent and attention to detail of 2K's art director.

It just seems to me that whomever the art director is doesn't really have that true "artistic fetish" for the NBA. I look at the Live art director, and you can tell this man has a true, almost psychotic, fetish for getting all the true graphical intricacies into their game (500+ shoes and counting, tons of alternate AND ACCURATE jerseys and counting, fully accurate player accessories, etc.). That passion for truly replicating the art direction of the NBA really doesn't seem to be there for whomever is in charge of the department. It kind of disappoints me considering how great this game actually plays.

Ok how to explain this?.... Camera Relative mean that whatever camera angle you play at that the way the move is done on the controller. For example, I play in the 2k camera view. Which means to go up the court. I press up on the Left analog (PS3). But if I played in the tradition Broadcast view. To go up the court I would press right on the Left analog (PS3). Translating that in doing moves. Now to do a simple crossover (or switch which hands I’m dribbling with). If I’m in my 2k view and the ball is in my players left hand. I would flick the left stick to his right or empty hand. To crossover. But if I was in the broadcast view to crossover to left to right. I would flick the left analog down to crossover to the right.

I know it hard to follow. But play around with it. And you will start to see what I’m talking about.

“Absolute” basically means. It always going to be the same no matter what the camera view is.<O</O
