Is anyone else getting taken in and out of the starting 5 seemingly every other game? I think my stats are overall much better than Oden's (stupid clone glitch messes with the recorded stats but I think I'm averaging something like 16/9 when they talk about me in-game) but I keep getting randomly bumped back to the bench.

It doesn't really make that much of a difference minutes-wise (I've been playing 28 or so out of the 32 since Nate McMillan subs me in at PF and occasionally SF as well), but I'm just wondering what's driving the game to make those decisions. My PT gradually increased until I got my first start and it's continued increasing (started and played all 32 mins last game), but then even after a pretty good game, I get benched... weird.

Had an absolutely beastly game last game, 28 points, 16 boards, 3 assists, 1 block, 0 TOs, 11/15 from the floor, 6/7 from the stripe in 32 mins. Got over 2000 skill points for that one... It's fun being a big man when you can get into a groove rebounding.. I kill it on the offensive glass.

I went back and forth for a couple games but now that they traded etan thomas off I am the top rated center and getting every start. You have to expect them to give oden his starts, he was not to long ago supposed to be the future of the center position wasn't he. He will eventually get shipped off if you stick around and then you will get all the starts and all the minutes.

My dude avgs something likes 18ppg 7ast 3rebs and i think 1.8 steals a game.It took me only I think like 9 games to win the starting job :/ not sure how I got it so fast.Might be because I did pretty much win that one game against the Cavs on their home floor(That was tough lebron was doing everything and my guy matched him rated only 56).

Maybe this mode is too easy..next year I want a challenge damnt.

I still don't get how people think this is an easy mode. Sure I have big games every so often. But I am so frustrated too. Can't play help D. Can't switch......otherwise when the morons on the other team let your guy score you are the one the supposedly messed up.

I just want my first season to be over......yeah I'm getting 18-5-5....but sitting at 11-32 sucks. Watching any team we play shoot 80% sucks.

I don't know if it is too easy or not. What difficulty are you playing on by the way? I actually won the starting job in like 6 games but I went through the combine and got points there and it is the thunder and they aren't real strong at center anyway. I was thinking it was getting pretty easy as we stormed through a 5 game win streak putting us 3rd in the conference but now we had a 5 game week and only won one of those games. The worst one was this last one against houston.

We won the first 2 against them including a true battle in the last game where we went into overtime with yao and me both having 4 points in the last 50 seconds of regulation going back and forth and my guy hitting a layup with .8 seconds left to tie then a complete back and forth battle through overtime and the game ending with both yao and me putting up over 20 points and 20 boards. This last game however after jumping out 29-10 after one and 53-32 at the half I sat for 7 minutes of the 3rd and came back in down 18. In 7 minutes they just had like a 40 point turnaround and ended up waltzing by us. Nearly made me want to throw a controller.

I think I screwed my guy over, by making him a 6'1 PG that they put in at SG most of the time, then randomly in at SF, since Calderon seems to never get tired.

I agree, being a big man and mopping up the glass in this game and then slamming it home has to be the most fun I've had in a bball game ever.

I am only 9 games into my NBA season but I just had a monster game scoring 24 pts with 21 boards. Has anyone got the 25 board milestone?

I had 23 once then they pulled me out for the last minute of the 3rd and the full 4th quarter.

I think I have figured out something regarding one of the minor bugs in this mode. If you have a back to back set of games and go to the headlines after the first game it will sim the second. Actually it appears that after you play a game if you go to headlines it will always sim the next day if you have a game of not. Can be helpful if you need to sim a day to get to the next month to see if you won any awards or anything.

Thats a nifty bug, I am still trying to figure out why I cannot read any of the text under the rumors. I have another 3 players who are "demanding" a trade and I would like to know why.

I can read the text in the rumor mill but I can't get any on the previous award winner or award projection screens where it tells what award you are looking at or on the statistic or record screens where it would show what team you are looking at.

I can read the text in the rumor mill but I can't get any on the previous award winner or award projection screens where it tells what award you are looking at or on the statistic or record screens where it would show what team you are looking at.

lol I can see all that information. hopefully its one of the items fixed once the patch drops even if I dont remember seeing it listed on there.

Yeah, it is kinda tough to find which teams records you are looking at when you are trying to go by who set the records, especially when a lot of the names aren't filled in. Also, it took me a good couple minutes to figure out what award winners I was looking for for past awards.

It is a glitch that occurs between summer league and training camp that creates a clone of your player. It can be very annoying as it screws with stats and you can end up playing against yourself but it will supposedly be fixed with the patch and will not require any restart or anything. Also, if you are not past the summer league yet there is a way around it.
