the 2ksports website lags like no other....sometimes when i go to the page for the first time on a newly opened browser....there's some random person already logged in....

anyone know if this is affecting my ability to upload an in-game highlight/replay?

i've been doing it but i always get a video that doesnt even stream

I understand consistency, but what does shoot off dribble actually do? Obviously it can't hurt, but what does it do?

when you're running with the ball and you stop to spot up for a jumper...this rating affects your effectiveness in draining the shot...

an example is when you call for a screen and you want to shoot the ball once your opponent gets tangled up

I'm equating it to the fact that Russell Westbrook (his rating is -11) is unhappy being sixth man, and Thabo Sefelosha (rating is -5) is unhappy about playing under 4 minutes per game. I'm sure these guys' attitudes are bringing the whole team's chemistry down, because I've had a big win against the Lakers and some nice road wins so far and chemistry remains at rock bottom. Answering Loyal or Professional doesn't seem to do anything either.
im sure it doesnt boil down to just one single aspect of the game(i.e. winning or how you answer questions)....it's probably a combination of those things...

i'll take a picture of my screen or something but i havent gotten my team chemistry below 70

not sure what to make of the team chemistry thing....im not doing anything special but averaging double-doubles, winning games and answering with the best suited option

A simple test then: next time you play My Player, check your team chemistry after each game. When you win it'll go up, when you lose it'll go down.

-rebounds are always good teammate grade boosts...
-be mindful of your passing...especially if your teammate is cutting to the basket...this isnt a guaranteed assist...the cpu opponents will clog that passing lane and steal the ball...
-cut down on the turnovers (related to passing advice)
-i dont expect you to make steals just yet but those help
-blocks are a bit more easier to pull off in the beginning than steals, so challenge every jumpshot
-dunks also help since they're automatic highlight plays(earns you 10 SP for every highlight play)
-save the easier milestones that you know you could accomplish for a rivalry game...that way you get 2X the reward of SP
thanks for the advice. i started to really focus on doing the small things well and it has paid off. got a C+, then a B-, then a B, and finally an A.

im a SG and was drafted by the Heat in the 2nd rd. for now Ill pass the ball and get my grade up!

i wish i could lower the difficulty below 'Pro' and/or use custom sliders. its tough to be effective as a 41 OVR and brand new to this game. last bball game I had was March Madness about 4 years ago. i could just run crossovers until the CPU fell over and I would have an open shot.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

last year's game(2k10) had a much more easier passing mechanism since the cpu didnt play defense in the passing lanes nor stuck to your player as much...ball security is just an issue all around in this year's game...so you have to be careful...

i havent played with any other position other than pg so it might be a bit more difficult in passing the ball and having them actually score to award you an assist(improves your teammate rating significantly) but all i know is that i barely increased my passing rating in the beginning of the game....didnt really need a high passer rating for calling the pick and rolls....it was effective from the start...

tip: you could set a screen and run free from your man and hope your teammate finds you open for a quick open shot...

Yeah, they definitely need to patch that. I'm playing for the Wizards and we are 29-38 trying to make a push for that last playoff spot, but since around game 30 the coach gets fired every 3rd game or so. It's not only happening on my team either - reading the league news it seems that there are about half a dozen teams that fire their coaches with the same frequency - some of them are even doing well. The Mavs are 3rd in the conference right now with like 43 wins and they have gone through several coaches.

                          Position: SG
                          Team: Milwaukee Bucks
                          Height & Weight: 6'6", 215 pounds
                          Overall: 63 and rising

My regular season averages were 25 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal.

I missed 21 games due to various injuries during the season. Didn't get voted to the rookie-sophomore game or all-star game because of that But I jacked my durability up to 99 and played out the final 2 months of the season injury free. Won the Rookie of the Month in the final 2 months, won Rookie of the Year, and 1st team All-Rookie.

Currently in the 2nd round of the playoffs, down 2-1 to Miami. Beat the #3 seed Atlanta in a 7 game series in round 1. Dropped 55 points in game 6 to keep us alive, then finished the series out in game 7.

My last game, Game 3 against Miami, I hit a 3 pointer with 12 seconds left to tie the game. Then D-Wade blew by me for a dunk to go up by 2 (my defense is still pretty wack haha). So we inbounded with 2 seconds left, I caught the inbound, took 1 dribble and launched an off-balance 20 footer, BUCKETS. Overtime. We went on to win. I dropped 47 points, 12 rebounds & 7 assists.

My playoff averages so far: 33 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals. I've definitely stepped my game up in the playoffs. I'm trying to average these kind of numbers in my 2nd season.

im a PG and i average an A+ in teammate grade every game

-i DONT ever call for the ball...i usually just run around screens to get open and hope the ball handler finds me...which they actually do...i average 25.6 ppg

-if i do actually handle the ball myself...i get tons of assists...i average 13.4 apg

-i used to set screens but i stopped doing that since it doesnt really give me a lot of boost in the teammate rating....i just run to the rim and try and get rebounds...hard to do when you're 6'3'' and you have both boozer and noah as teammates...

-for the most part, during the after the game interviews, i choose to be very selective and choose certain answers of professionalism, loyalty and arrogance depending on what they ask...never did the 4th choice(indifference was it?)

-winning also probably plays a pivotal role in it as well...i have a 63-10 record so with that high of a winning record i dont think my team chemistry could go down...
Yeah, but is it mainly because of your player that your team has such a good record? or do the other players not miss easy open shots like my team does?
My player: 6'2 scoring PG / Indiana Pacers (Season 1) / Overall 62

Its in the thread somewhere but I spoke to Ronnie and its going to be patched, its not happening to everyone but it is happening, just make sure if its happening to you that you take advantage of it and answer it arrogantly atleast to make the most of it.
