I hope your right and they dont miss easy shots like when I was with the Knicks and Lakers. I played SG then but the Lakers mainly played me as a PG.

          Crazyballa89 on PSN

I have had 2k for about a month and I only play mostly on weekends due to school, etc. I'm progressing through my 1st yr

However, I have managed to become a 78 Overall and I am in the beginning of March. I play for the NJ Nets and we are 46-15. I play on 7 min Quarters with CPU sim on 10 and I average 30 ppg., 9.2 apg and 2.1 spg. I'm also an MVP candidate as well as tops for Rookie of the year

I managed to turn the nets around and help Brook make the all star game and Twill earn some spotlight among most improved. I fell JUST short of the all-star game due to the early injury where I missed 10 games. I impressed so much at the nets Camp that I was already the 6th man to start the season. Devin and Murphy was traded for Arenas and Blatche and then I worked my way into the lineup

Here are some tips of how I became so good, so fast

As an Athletic PG, I knew from 2k10 the speed and quicks would be high so I worked on def/off awareness, ball handling, and close-to-mid shooting and defense (steal/on-ball). I used key games as a tool, managing my milestones so that I could earn the most possible skill points for every key game that came. MY key games only include star point guards and the Knicks.

You just want to make sure to ball hard in these games and try to align your milestones with them to earn some serious gains.

I never cheated or any of that stuff and in fact I play very realistic basketball. My IQ and Vision are insane from playing in real life.

are you doing the pick and roll? i like to do it from the right of the 3pt. arc and as boozer rolls and cuts to the basket i run left into traffic(getting bumped) and pass the ball for an easy dunk/lay-up in a fluid motion

another thing i do is when there's a fast break, i literally run straight to the basket with 1 or 2 teammates coming from the (or both)sidelines and crossing baseline to the basket....usually my opponent is in my face underneath the rim but instead of doing a contact lay-up/dunk, i wait until one of my teammates is by the basket as i toss the ball around my defender....since the guy guarding me is so close, he doesnt have enough room to play the passing lanes to get a steal because my arm literally goes behind his back as i pass it(this is all done while in motion....i dont actually stop running once i get to the rim)

also on a fastbreak....when you know you have a 3pt shooter running up the court near the sidelines...you can make a deep outlet pass(obviously when he's wide open) and he will usually catches it and shoots the 3....

other than that...i usually play a slow paced game...i wait for opportunities to open up rather than create them myself(aside from the pick and roll play)....dont rush the game....manage it

A putback dunk is done with turbo and square (PS3), X (360) you press turbo and triangle (PS3), Y (360) for a tip in

when you call a play...it should be on the default playcalls for the PG position...

on the ps3 you press right on the d-pad then x....

i dont know about the 360 controls but it's on the first page of plays that you call

you have to register your gamertag or psn name onto your profile in the 2ksite first....

then just play your myplayer while logged in online...it should update your stats directly to the site after every game....i think it sucks that it doesnt show assists as a stat
