i think the proper animation was for the ball to hit the glass and not the rim...it's a 2k flaw...but the completed alley-oop play should have made up for the 'bad pass' deduction...

3 pointers are too hard to come by when it comes to your teammates sinking them....i rarely ever give it luol deng outside...only person i give it to is keith bogans or kyle korver since i dont care about their stats....since my 3point shot is maxed out now...im usually the only person who attempts my team's 3 point shots.....i can only recommend you get the pick and roll play down and feed the ball inside for an easy lay-up or dunk

As soon as your pass is designated "bad pass" you don't even get credit for assists. Happens to me a lot when I try to pass driving the lane to the cutter on the other side. It'll get *maybe* a defensive finger on it, but then the player throws it down. No assist. Alley-oops are the same way, unfortunately.

I decided to update my career, as I started over. Some of you may have read my post about not wanting to ruin Westbrook, so getting traded out after being drafted 18th. I had been traded to Cleveland, as a PG! Worse still, not only am I playing the position of their best player, the player I was traded for was their 2nd best asset, in Antawn Jamison. After getting myself traded to Utah (again, we really need a PG here!) I decided to call it quits, start a new career and just play through the first season as a professional with my drafting team, no matter where I went. I'm not quite to the 1st NBA game yet, but very close (I play 12 minutes.)

I averaged a triple double with 24 a game in the Combine, finishing with an A+ and a win in all but the 2nd game (Wall ate them up, but it was my top game in the Combine.)

MAYBE you can get drafted higher, but I'm highly doubtful. I got silver in only 1 Dribble Course Drill, the rest being Gold, and did get Speed once and remove it for extra midrange.

I turned off the autosave and made an additional save so if I was thoroughly repulsed by the team, I could rerun the draft, but it more wound up being to see if I could crack the top 7 (I've never heard of anyone being drafted higher than #8.)

I went, again and again, to the Clippers. I saved the very first time because I was delighted to go to a team with lots of bright young talent, and don't really care much if I take Baron Davis's starting position. I still ran the draft about 20 more times after, and it was Clipperland everytime.

(NOTE TO 2K: I think you should have a "sandbox" sim option in which your entering the league actually alters the draft order. While I'm not complaining about the extra teammate, I don't feel that I should still retain Aminu as he would surely not be available to the Clippers again in that draft. Still love it, but for hardcore "sandbox-sim" players, having that extra super-talented rookie will be a boon, for certain.)

I'm averaging 23.5, 10.5, 13.5 in the first 2 games of the summer league. I should come in immediately as the sixth-man unless I screw up royally (other than turning it off to experiment with the draft, I never turn off the autosave, if I have a bad game, that's part of being in the NBA!)

GO CLIPPERS. Love having Blake running the pick and roll with me in the Summer, we're gonna be best buds.

I've really been paying attention to it and I remember Enigma saying something like having a best friend on the team. I've noticed whenever a timeout is called, I walk to it with Rudy Gay, I stand next to him in the huddle, and whenever either me or him hits a big shot, I'm the first guy in the animation. When we're on the bench we sit beside eachother, and at the end of the game always high five. I love it haha

We’ve won 5 of our last 6 (damn you Indiana!). My last two games were a 102-109 win against the Hornets (18 points, 13 rebounds, 19 assists, 1 block, 4 turnovers) and a 97-89 win against the Bobcats: 11 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists, 1 steal, 5 blocks, 5 turnovers). Every great player has weaknesses, I guess mine is turnovers. I wanted my teammates to carry the scoring load for a little while these two games. Next up is a Key Game against NY… my turn.

By the way, it was announced that I made the Rookie-Sophomore game, and despite crawling up to 5th in the MVP race, I didn’t make the All-Star team (as far as I know… no milestone anyway). Oh well, it’s all about my guys in NJ and getting us a playoff spot! We're currently 9th.

my player mode(since this is what the thread is about):
-addressed a hang that would sometimes occur when completing a game during the NBA time period.

-the user’s team will now be more efficient in finding a trade to one of the requested teams when a Trade Request is made.

-fixed a soft hang that would occur when loading an in-game save that was created during a timeout situation. This change also affects in-game saves created in the various game modes

-the Rookie of the Year Milestone should now properly unlock when the conditions are met.

-addressed a playcalling issue where the dribbler would hold the ball until the last second during My Player games.

-PlayVision art is now drawn on the floor when the CPU calls a play, easily enabling the user to follow the action on the court.

-home court advantage (for simulated games) has been toned down during the regular season, and even more so during the playoffs

-fixed a bug where coaches would get fired continuously

-existing NBA players should no longer have their signature animations changed at the end of every season based on their skill progression/regression

-fixed an issue where generated players would be created with the award history of a player currently in the Hall of Fame

-tuned rookie generation code such that incoming talent is more in-line with players already in the league. Other generation improvements were made as well, including better secondary position logic along with adjustments to the size of the incoming players

Damn! I've put in SO much work but almost want to start over for the coach thing alone... no fixes for freezing at the end of games or during the offseason?? Damn.

**ADDITION from Ronnie: Getting the question a lot about whether My Player's that froze before can be salvaged. The answer is in most cases, yes. As long as the data isn't corrupt. Do not quote me but many of you will be able to pick up and play your old My Player like nothing ever happened. Happy gaming!

i didnt read anything about it...but this is why i have been so slow in the offseason....didnt want to go into season 2 without a patch fix...came in time too...game 4 of the finals...up 3-0 against the lakers...

Wessam....not sure if it would help your game save per se....but the patch fixes this(it's listed under association mode but the fixes overlap with my player mode as well)

Im also a PG for Memphis. We've had our good and bad times but mostly bad lol. Even though we won the championship my 1st season it's still hard to play with them. They miss to many wide open shots but make the difficult one's. They should have addressed that in the patch.

Im in my rookie season, team record is 25-11 at the moment. The team seem to nail most shots.. except for a period each game Mayo or Conley go crazy. Mayo shoots over 50% so I cant complain really lol. But play the pick and roll as enigma advised me, try and use Gasol more as Randolph attempts lay-ups, gets block or misses a lot of them but he is better at jumpshots. Gasol dunks most of the time, makes most lay ups and can nail the odd jumper. He has the highest field goal percentage in the league! shoots about 64% lol

No that they've started calling plays I'm starting to enjoy the game a little more than I already was. I'm getting open shots when my number is called and the game doesn't label every friggin' 3 I take as a bad shot selection.

But I loathe the 15 Side now. What the heck is Yao gonna do from the corner? I'm breaking that play whenever it comes up from now on.

so with the patch being out i can resume my "MY Player" game that i stop playing because I did a ingame save during a timeout?

Did anybody test this out yet cuz if this work I can start playing this mode again
