I like playing for the Grizzlies because my players look to pass to me, only a few of them chuck up shots on a few occasions per match. Randolph and Gasol only really attempts shots when I play the pick and roll and at that stage they would find it nearly impossible to miss!

TOTALLY agree. I'm a 3pt Specialist with them and our team runs smoothly, but we're 10-13 right now , but we're starting to pick it up! I find Gasol and Randolph will always look for me on a wide open 3 after getting an offensive rebound, and Hasheem Thabeet is playing like he did with Georgetown, he is a monster on the boards!!

I'm gonna look for a trade to the Raptors though, cause they need everything and anything they can get, other than a C. And they're kinda close to me (only Canadian team since Vancouver is gone , but I live about an hour from Toronto). OH! And I'm still quite upset you cannot choose Canada as an option for where you're from

Fully agree, it's a shame we canno't pick Canada. I understand the game don't have Canadian Universities, but not having Canada, it's something that shouldn't happen.

I asked for a trade to Toronto but was traded to Cleveland (was drafted by the Clippers) and I'll do everything to get to the Raptors as soon as possible. I want to make that team relevant (if possible) in the game since that's impossible in real life! ;-)

yeah i know in MLB2k10 if you hit too many HR / RBI (i believe 200+ HR / 400+ RBI), it turns negative... I had a guy hit the negative marker for HR, and almost get it positive, it was pretty insane how easy that game is.

lol i was highly upset when it happened...i quit playing 2k10 after that

I"m now on the bucks (2nd season) I started on the Lakers for a few games, but just didn't want to be there - I want to go to a team I don't mind that isn't already amazing and help build it by asking for certain players.

Anyway, anyone confirm yet if you can manually alley-oop (as in you slam)? Or putback dunks?

im not sure about the manual alley-oop but for the putback dunks, you're supposed to attack the rim for the rebound with the same button you use for dunking(on the ps3 it's r2+square) as though you still have the ball....but dont use the shot stick method of dunking

i will state that whenever i cut to the basket and call for the ball...derrick rose may sometime dish an alley-oop pass to me...but that only happened like twice so far(both lame lay-up alley-oops not dunks and my person has an 85 dunk rating)

game 6 of the eastern conference finals against the heat ended in overtime with a score of 140-136(bulls) ...the fans in miami were highly disappointed as their team allowed the bulls to comeback from an 0-3 deficit to force a game 7 back in chicago...

I am about 50 games into my career as a 3pt specialist on the Thunder.

People say they are worried about Westbrook, 'ruining' him by having him ride the bench behind them. What I have discovered is that just playing on the same team ruins him. I don't know if its just an issue of tendancies, but the guy will do absolutely everything to avoid passing the ball. He averages about 5 assists on 6 minute quarters, but takes about 15-20 shots per game (for those familiar with advanced stats, his Usage rate is over 30, which is Allen Iverson at his most intense). He typically drives the lane, meets 3 defenders and shoots a contested fadeaway for a miss. Thus his shooting percentage hovers under %40 and his ratings decline. It seems like when he's shooting badly he does this even more often! I noticed when I played a career on the Nets that Devin Harris played the same way (only he took more 3s). Rondo had a similar issue and his ratings tanked severely when I tried the Celtics. Is point guard just broken? I have noticed that AI teams don't seem to have this problem so much. Chris Paul definitely looks for the pass when I play the Hornets, for example.

I supposedly am able to call plays but since I never play point (I'm a 6'6 SG so usually they stick me at SF as a second position), I never seem to be able to. Is the AI calling plays at all? Cause they don't seem to be running them.

there are usual times when the bigs come out to set a screen when im placed at the SG position...so i dont know if that's derrick rose calling a play or if it's just randomly done by the C's and PF's....

but i do agree with you in terms of how efficient the cpu runs play or at least get wide open looks for shots or drives to the basket....even though i have taken the starting PG position from derrick rose and he is now a starting SG...he usually has a quarter to himself in which he runs point...he does everything you just mentioned...he dribbles and tries to cross his opponent and if he doesnt blow past them for a layup he does a spin around jumper that usually misses...

for the most part i keep bosh in check, wade out of the paint and lebron from the perimeter...but who i cant seem to stop is frickin' ilgauskas....he shoots pretty much from anywhere on the damn court...it's insane...

Another issue I have run into, near the end of the game, frequently the inbounds passer will refuse to inbound the ball and get a 5-second. I've had this happen several times even when there are multiple options for him to pass to.

In addition, it seems the end-of-game logic is broken, at least in myplayer for your own team, often, needing a 3 players will dribble around pointlessly inside the arc or shoot a 2 pointer after bleeding off the whole shot clock. I've even seen players pass up an open 3 to drive in and take a midrange jumper with 5 seconds left down by 3.

Just finished a game with 10 assists... but I quite literally should have had about 20. Gasol kept missing dunks and Randolph lay-ups :@
