i feel like that new update ruined this game for me with the play calling if u dont do what it tells u the pg just holds the ball and jacks up a 3 at the last second. And its kind of hard to score since most of the plays are for my other teammates, how am i suppose to create a shot for myself? any tips on how to score consistently with this new update?

press LB(360) or L1(ps3) to stop the plays being called...

other than that...creating shots for yourself is probably the easiest thing in the game...pumpfake or just catch and shoot

I just got 2740 points in one game without multipliers!

got 4 milestones (5 rebs, 5 rebs + 5 pts, 20 pts, 5 3pts in 1 game)
scored 24 points, 7 reb, 3 assists, 1 block, 2 stl, 6-8 3pt
won the game

i think i saw someone say that 1700 was their best, has anyone bettered mine? (without multipliers ie. key games)

I just got 2740 points in one game without multipliers!

got 4 milestones (5 rebs, 5 rebs + 5 pts, 20 pts, 5 3pts in 1 game)
scored 24 points, 7 reb, 3 assists, 1 block, 2 stl, 6-8 3pt
won the game

i think i saw someone say that 1700 was their best, has anyone bettered mine? (without multipliers ie. key games)

I can't really remember my best but I do average between 1400-1600 per game

i'm having that same problem as well. my pg just holds it and jacks up a 3 or dishes to me with like 4 seconds left.

hell even if i attempt to run a play no play art comes up sometimes. so he holds it. i'm the only guy on my team that needs to jack the ball up, which i do to the tune of 30-40 times a game.

sometimes i cancel the play and then he passes to someone else.
i do have a question though, my team said they want me to be involved in the trade process.

well 3 games have gone by since they said this and they have made 2 trades already without my input. is there a rhyme or reason as to y they did this?

another question is if i tinker with tendencies from the main menu or sliders from the main menu do they affect my player mode?

i see no sliders for this mode. anyhelp is appreciated.

Well, we finally got that close win I'd been missing. It went to double OT but we finally pulled it out. The end of reg though the guy I was defending of course hit a shot that I had no chance of defending but I buckeled down the next two OT's and shut him down. I also saw my team go 8-17 from 3!! Udric was on fire he even hit one to tie it up in the 1st OT! So, there is hope.

I was told they would ask for my opinion about 12 games ago and after that they made 2 trades. Still haven't asked for my opinion though. Most guys have said it should happen randomly a few games later when you click on Play Next Game. I'm still waiting though.

Also there are no sliders for My Player.

The heck is up with the releases on pick up games? Everytime I try a jumper it feels off, like im throwing up a poor release. I've tried changeing the time I hold the button for but can't seem to get it right.

Just feels like it's delayed.

any ideas?

the patch supposedly changed the time release on certain shot animations...kobe's, ben gordon's and a few others are affected

you could try changing the tendencies from the main menu...im not saying it will work but i DID edit oden's durability(up to 80) from the main menu and he's been healthy in my player mode...

but in my opinion, i dont think it would work...and even so...you probably have to adjust the sliders significantly to notice any real change....

bumping up my difficulty setting to Hall of Fame

it might put my teammates at a disadvantage from shooting but you know there's something wrong when the lakers are barely scoring 50 points in a game against you

I haven't played in a few weeks but my highest single game score was around 6700. I can't remember what milestones I hit but it was two big ones in the same game like 1500 assists and 10 triple-doubles in a season. The 2X multiplyer took it from around 3300 to the 6700 range.

Right now my player is rated 86 OVR and I'm in game 3 of the WCF against Dallas (I'm on OKC). I'm averaging 22pts, 17reb, 19ast through 8 playoff games and that's usually good for 1700-2000 every game.

Huh... We are on a nother losing streakkk... Barbosa and Bragnani are back to their old antics and throw up any shot when ever they get the ball...

The love fest is over, No Rant though, I've finally gotten to a respectable rating, So I average about 20 pts and 12 rebs... Last 10 games avg 28 pts 15 rebs... Half wins, half loses

We were deadly hot, 6 games in a row, then we went to Boston... They whipped us, Lost by 13, when we were down by 4 with a min and change to go... Now lost to two bumb teams, including 76ers... But I guess at 6-9 we are not that much better

Since I've finally got the hang of the mode, I might start over with a midget SG or SF... I like the more points you get, and the defense seems to be a little easier now also...

O Yea, Has anyone figured out why dunks are missing at a high rate when by urself... Any help would be great
