I wish people would realize that your overall doesn't matter.........Its only that low because of all the smaller categories that we don't pay attention to..........If you want cheap boosts in your overall, put sp into offensive and defensive awareness...

Exactly, your overall really doesnt matter. At the same time, every other attribute makes a noticeable difference in your play.
I really dont see what difference awareness makes for your player as you are controlling your player all the time.
Im a 62 OVR 50 games in. If I actually put SP into awareness Id probably be at least a 70 already. My off. and def. awareness right now is in the low 40s.

I was actually gonna ask about that. It seems wierd putting up like 35 points as a player with a 49 rating. I havent touched my awareness tho, but my three is like 84 and my midrange is like an 87. On the skill screen it does list what the awareness does, but im not sure if it matters if youre controlling your player or not.

I dunno if it works like EA's football games where it basically is just for sim stats or what

I was wondering this too but I'm thinking it has to do something right? Or why give us the options to build them up? I don't put any points into awareness either because I figured it didn't matter...

I think the Nets are going to be a good fit for me (6'8" All Around SF). I think they are a Carmelo away from being a contender. I can be that guy and grow and develop with this young team, and they won't have to give up any pieces. Harris, Morrow (2 years), Me (rookie), Favors (rookie), and Lopez (2 years); with Troy Murphy and Terrence Williams (1 year) as 6th men is a good team with one of the brightest futures in the league.

While Houston is a damn good fit for a Small Forward, Jersey was my second choice (and homer-ism aside, maybe the best choice) when trying to get traded during my old My Player because it was comparable. Brooks and Harris are both scoring guards with blazing speed. Martin and Morrow are both deadly from three. Scola and Favors are legit 4's with Yao and Lopez being awesome defensive stoppers that will often clean up mistakes.

I've only played one game (12 minutes) but having Lopez in the middle is awesome. Probably 50 percent of the times I gambled and lost, Lopez was there with the help D swatting shots. He's also more athletic than Bargnani so instead of getting assists off of jumpers, he cuts to the hole for dunks. He and I are going to be a force.

Going off of my above post, I'm wondering what are the top 3 teams people think would be a "great situation" for each My Player position to go to.

after playing as a pg with the Heat, I think they need an athletic center to matchup with some of the tougher centers in the East (im looking at you Dwight Howard and Brooks Lopez) as a pg on this team it would make my life much easier instead of having to watch Z. Ilgauskas getting abused all night.

Anyone notice the chemistry thing is out of sync/wack. My team chemistry is at a 0% and I'm 50-29 right now.

Im pretty sure Keith Smart just doesnt want me to get a triple double... I'll be and 9 assists and get pulled until like a minute left... then when I get in Monta Ellis is jackin up shot or whoever I pass it to doesnt want to shoot

Wouldn't you know, I Just had my game freeze after a 20point 10 assist game.

Best game I've played by far and it decides to lock up on me at the loading screen...

That's why I picked a SG. After Kobe, wade and Roy, there are no true #1 options at SG. PG and SF are the worst positions at this point. Many teams in the league have 2 legit starting points and the SF position is stacked.

For SG, OKC Utah Chicago Denver Orlando(sorry Vince) new York new Orleans could all be situations where a great SG could spell championship.

PF/C is the next one. An athletic center would make a few teams real serious. New York would slide amare to PF. Thunder would get bigger and deeper at the position. Miami would be completely unbeatable. San Antonio would slide duncan back to PF. New Orleans would be back to 08 form. Phoenix would fill the hole that STAT left. Golden state would actually get surprising. They'd be dominant on The boards and better on D in a way that would showcase the scoring and playmaking abilities of their outstanding guards. Detroit would get interesting. Denver would be able to compete with LA's size. Orlando would be sick with a twin towers format.

I'll probably just have multiple characters at those two positions with different styles this year. No PG for me.

Is there any way to run plays in MyPlayer this year without being PG? This mode isn't much fun when all the players are running around like idiots.

LoL, This may sound dumb, but do you get any perks or points taken away if your Jordan sponsored but don't wear Jordan Shoes??? Cause I have been mis matching with the 20, 2 and 10 shoes... (I like how the 2 and 10 look, But the 20 give you +4 quickness)

I'm getting bored of them, and I'm nice enough that I don't need the perks as much to be good... I want to wear the new LeBrons and the Zig Slashes ...
