Still having trouble, I think my speed rating may be too low. Whatever, its really not a big deal. at all.

Thanks... but is there any way that I can use the arrow pad? To call quick isolation, quick post up and quick screen? And how do you get the floor general status?

you need to both a floor general and a PG to have the quick play menu from the d-pad...

you get floor general status by virtue of your performance in games...i usually lose my floor general status after every season and have to regain it back at the beginning of a new season...it takes me like 8 games or so...(this time i got it after an OT thriller against the suns...we lost)

maybe it's just for me but tyreke evans is the best i have ever seen to make layups in contact(too be more accurate i mean layups in which he actually follows through with one motion rather than chucking the ball up after a foul and hoping for luck)...maybe it's the layup animation he has idk...he makes a lot of layups in traffic..

Floor general without being a PG makes you feel magic though, especially when you pick the exact play you wanted. Instead of the prompts of what to push for which play (too easy), you get an invisible menu. Hit LB, pick a guy, hit a random button and pray it's not an Iso. What makes it worse is that hitting X for a certain play one game doesn't mean that X will be that same play the next game.

Gotta wonder why they even give you the ability. Would be nice if you could call it without holding the ball, too.

The CPU players both on my team and theirs continue to shoot about 30% every game. I'm changing the setting from SIM to NORMAL to see if that helps.

Which difficulty is this? I noticed that on All-star/Simulation my team's and opponents' fg% rarely moved upwards of 30%, but raising it to Superstar/Sim, it hovers around .470. The CPU plays passing lanes and rebounds a bit better, but otherwise it isn't much more difficult. I prefer Sim over Default just for the increased FT attempts, but Default has its charms.

Tayshaun Prince and Luol Deng are the same way. Prince also has a crazy ability to draw fouls without doing one of the contact animations. Makes me jealous.

Ugh I'm nearing the end of my first full season an I'm still the 8th role player on the Knicks. I'm a PF 6'10 260pounds. I average 17.7pts 15reb 2.4ast 1.2stl 2.1blk but I still can't get a chance to start. I don't want to start at PF over Amare but I would love to start at center an play along side him. It really annoys me and I wish I could change my position to center.

kevin love is back from his broken wrist injury! have the starting 5 back... time to start deferring the workload....

every time i play against portland(3rd time this season)....it seems like luke babbit doesnt miss a shot...

**edit: lol my player got a twisted ankle on the game kevin love returned...i'll be missing the next two days(it's actually cool though...my schedule showed that my next game was 5 days away) but i wont miss any games

just started a new my player, center this time because my crew has like 4 point guards haha
athletic, same exact body as dwight howard, checked on wikipedia
had first draft combine game and was a beast on the boards but i have no offensive game whatsoever
had 8 points, 27 rebounds, 10 offensive

Wow, almost half of the time I drive to the basket the heat check menu pops up or the camera angle changes which screws me over. I didn't even press any of the directional buttons. I think it happens when I press down on the L3 button. How do I turn off this controller 'feature'?

just started a new my player, center this time because my crew has like 4 point guards haha
athletic, same exact body as dwight howard, checked on wikipedia
had first draft combine game and was a beast on the boards but i have no offensive game whatsoever
had 8 points, 27 rebounds, 10 offensive

in a sense(i mean this really loosely), dwight howard doesnt have much of an offensive game either :wink:

Just finished a game against the Lakers (Key game), had 47 points, 17 rebs, 17 assts, 4 steals, 4 blocks, but 5 turnovers

although i never really utilized deng...i probably wouldnt want to give him up

i have a thing for past and current rosters...most likely i would have tried to pursue tyrus thomas, kirk hinrich, tyson chandler and ben gordon through trades even if chances are slim that i will get them
