So it's been a few weeks, and I still haven't been traded from the Wizards to the Knicks. I created multiple save files. And the teams I seem to get on the most are the Clippers, Bobcats, Mavericks and Kings.

Sucks.

I want a change of scenery right now to high fan based teams because i wanna see the crowd go crazy, even though i am with the Miami now looking to win the championship again in season 2, i will see what teams there are change to New York, Boston or Oklahoma for high atmosphere

I don't want to make a new topic for this, but also I want to know if this can work.

Is it possible to save before the draft and then just load the file again, to see if I can be on the Knicks that way? It'd be nice to be on the Knicks from the very beginning.

i tried this cause i was a center and didnt want to go to the jazz behind al jefferson
and i did it about 5 times in a row and went to the jazz everytime haha

I think I might have to reduce the minutes in the draft combine just so I can speed through it all and restart everytime I don't get on the Knicks. Frustrating, lol.

Started playing again, wanted to get traded to Lakers, but they can't really do it since i'ma 99 overall. So when i requested it after a few games it said Lakers didn't have a good trade. So, i'll ride out the year, but fans boo me like crazy now even though i'ma triple double machine & always answer professionally or loyaly

UPDATE: So I've noticed that the Knicks are no where in the first round, and I saw that they are in the 8th and 9th spot. The lowest I've gotten in the 2nd round was 5th.

I'm trying to see how poorly I can play to get lower in the 2nd round.

draft is determined by your projected pick number....you have to intentionally tank the combine games enough to get your number to where you want it to be...

i did this with the portland trailblazers(they have the #22 overall pick)...for some reason the game drafts you to the team before or after your projected pick...since i wanted to intentionally land on the blazers i made it so that my projected pick was #21 to the oklahoma city thunders....they passed on me and the blazers picked me up...

I guess I did leave that part out, huh? I am playinig PG; that's the position I primarily played growing up. I've got it set to PG/All-Around, so I can do a little bit of everything.

I had 17 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 1 turnover in my first training camp game.

Hello Evreyone I am about to start my new myplayer mode and i need some help i need some help on postion like what postion is the most fun. what diffcutly should i play on how tall should i be for that postion so if anyone could help me that would be great.

it's all dependent on personal preference...i prefer a 6'3'' PG...that way he's not oversized or undersized....i also like the all-around play style because most of their attributes have a higher maximum cap

also, for an All-Around SF just starting, what are the most important attributes to raise? (in order)

-medium range
-shoot off-dribble
-consistency
-verticals

What are the best dunk/layup packages?

what strengths and weaknesses are there in these packages?

also if you are a SF, can you cancel any play that the PG chooses with the LB button?

im currently using michael jordan's package because i like his cradle dunk and the classic freethrow dunk...

the weakness is he doesnt do any 360's but that's something i can live without

Playing as a PG was fun. The ability to call plays. Setting up players in the best way for them to score. Having a maxed out Ball handle, Off Hand, Quickness, Speed, layup I would be a problem. I always got to the rim and scored. Being an SF has its downside at times. With Ball Handle maxing out at 85 I cant really cross people up. All Around players should not have very low ratings to start out(I understand higher max caps at small attributes). I think there is no attribute over 45 in Defense for All Around SF. Speed is way to low at 60-65. What SF in the league started out with 50- dunk. Especially with dunk being expensive

This was by the time I tanked 2 out of the 3 games. So I made sure that I saved, and it worked. This is a lot easier than waiting for the off-season or demanding a trade in my opinion.

I think the Jordan dunk package unlocks at 80, but it might be 90. Remember those Jordan XI's count when it comes to unlocking. Packages are also restricted by position/height in this mode (grrrr).

I personally prefer the D.Wade dunk package for a SG/SF, but his layup package has multiple contact layups that end up with you lying on the floor, which makes it pretty awful. Jordan's is good besides the hanging reverse that gets blocked 90% of the time. The Tony Parker and Manu layup packages are pretty good though.

For a PF/C, I prefer Amare's dunk pack because it has lots of standing dunks. I think Blake Griffin is assigned it by default, too. Big men are sadly restricted to "Rookie Big Man" layups, regardless of their layup skill.

If you have plenty of skill points banked, lower your awareness attributes to get yourself down to an 89 or so, then a trade will be much easier and it won't really impact your game. Just raise them back up once you're moved. If you don't want to be traded for Kobe or another star, you'll need to get it even lower.

I think they anticipated this, and that's why they make your player's Potential rating so low to artificially lower your trade value.

The booing thing is a bug, most likely... I also get it and my local fan support has gotta be maxed (if possible). Very annoying.

Well, after 10 straight losses Paul Westphal gets fired. The very next game my team comes out firey hot and lights it up from all over the court. Even my player seemed to get a boost dumping 36pts and pickin up 22 boards. Hopefully this continues.
