Hey guys, In my player mode ,in nba there already passed 30+ games and I just played 11 because of injuries(I got 3 injuries through 30 games), those also made my stats bad. I ussualy get injury in the start of the game, so my ppg dropped a lot. So I have a save from Summer Circuit start, I want to start over, By the way my stats in my current save: PPG: 26.0 RPG: 4.2 AST: 3.6.

Is it worth to start over with a better start?

kamen drilled 4 3's on me! the cpu just couldnt be stopped

just means i gotta try to elim them next game back on my home court

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

          Hey all,

It's been a while since I got back on here, but while away I have been playing the Myplayer mode, and here are a couple of things I found out:

Some of you may have known before that I started my second season as a Jazz team with an 89 Ovr. Success right? No, I was losing games so bad, that teams like the Clippers were destroying my team. I almost gave up myplayer but stuck with it. So I asked for a trade. I ended up back on the Bucks. I'm not sure why because I didn't want to go back there. But I stuck with it. Strangely enough, the team was a few games over 500. That Bucks team played better defense than the Jazz team. So it's safe to say that it depends on what team you're on to have any success, sort of. I went from averaging 32ppg to 51ppg. I really hated this but I was carrying the team in many games. I could have had MVP and Most Improved player awards but injuries set me back. I should have played through them instead of sitting out. Because when I checked, my name was removed from the race for those awards. So I may never see the most improved player award unless I tank a season (that's my thinking). Lebron James wins MVP despite me averaging 50ppg, about 8.8 rebs, pretty much across the board I was playing better in most categories on 57 reg season games (I'm guessing 65 games is what qualifies). Even though I was getting injured mostly in the second half of the season, I didn't make the all-star team or any 1st 2nd or 3rd NBA teams at the end of the season. My team made the playoffs though (I never thought I'd see that lol). Playing against the C's in round 1 and as of last night, series tied at 1-1.

I wished I would have either played through the season injured or with a guilty pleasure, restart games where I wouldn't have been injured to gain the MVP/Most Improved awards, along with the all-star invite. So any new players or anyone starting out make sure you bump up your durability. If you get injured, restart or play through it. I paid the price for it and may have lost a milestone or two because of it.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

I now regret asking for a trade from the Nets. We have the best record. I just became floor general again. I simmed one game after askin for a trade, Then I had 4 straight Key Games. I havent been traded yet. But after looking at the trade menu, It doesnt look like I will go to the team I want. I am a 92 Ovr PG. I have 90-93 Offense and 98 Defense. We are unstoppable after I finally touch steal and maxed it(avg 5 steals since). I also have been able to pull off alot of Alley Oops.
I hope I dont get traded until 3 more games I can have another Key Game. DOnt have milestones that I can accomplish shortly(only season and career). I use to try getting Triple doubles a night, but after I got the career triple-dub milestone it doesnt matter.
I dont know why, but I am very inconsistent from Mid range and I have it maxed out and I have 90 consistency. I am missing easy shots and I time it up perfectly.
I just got the signature shoes. I got my attributes where I like. I am currently boosting Shot Inside and Close, i will stop at 90. Most of my ratings are not maxed, but like are only a few off. I will then work on small stuff, Off and Def clutch, and Quickness.

I second that. It seems that almost every time I ask for a trade my team plays great so I don;t want to get traded anymore

I did create a backup save.
But I dont want to have to play those games over. I now only play 1 game a day, maybe 2 if I have time.
I may just say f it. I was going to sim bad games anyway.
Before in other MPs, I was able to go to the team I wanted. I wanted to go to Magic because of Howard. We have good young bigs, but other players are inconsistent.
If it wasnt for the 4 Straight Key games and the few that are coming up, I would not even regret it. It takes me an hour to do a game, I only played 3 games.

If your a PG you should try to go to the Miami HEAT. I was in Miami for two seasons and won a chip in both years. The best thing about playing for the HEAT is that CB1, LBJ, and D-Wade can all play the Pick and roll. I avg. 20.4 assissts per game from LeBron and D-Wade cutting to the basket and Pick and rolls from the Big three.

I'm starting at PG for the Thunder, the team that drafted me. We're currently 50-13 and have a 7.5 game lead for the top seed in the West. Having a plethora of options is great... Durant is averaging around 22 pts and 10 rebs, Ibaka is averaging around 10 and 10, Westbrook has been injured and struggled but is finding his game lately and is averaging 14 pts and 5 ast. Jeff Green has been ballin' out as well.

My goal this year is to get Durant & Co a ring and then move on to a new place in the off-season. I'm currently leading for MVP and ROY, and I'm 4th in the race for DPOY.

well being a SG u are most important for scoring and playing good D. work on shot mid, 3 point, and layup. as well as ball handle, security, pass, and hands as a guard is usually one of the 2 primary ball handlers. next get ur on ball D, steal, consistancy, shot in traffic, and off dribble up. once these things are all in the 80-99 range move onto other things like speed, stamina, vertical and quickness, they help ALOT. finally once thats all up to a decent number u can start to go to fancy/fun things things like dunk, standing dunk, emotion. etc.

but make sure the first few things u try to max out, or close to max out, is mid range, layup, and ball handle

my final line: 45 pts, 16 rbs, 30 blks

good to know 30 blocks is possible.
now i just gotta put together my 30-30-30 game

Now the big question, where to play next? my choices are
                              1. stay with the thunder
                              2. move to the heat
                              3. move to the bulls
                              4. move to the jazz

i'm torn between the heat and bulls. both need a legit big man but i'm worried if i go to the heat, i'm never gonna get the ball as a C.

I need your guys input on where I should go next??

Now the big question, where to play next? my choices are
                                1. stay with the thunder
                                2. move to the heat
                                3. move to the bulls
                                4. move to the jazz

i'm torn between the heat and bulls. both need a legit big man but i'm worried if i go to the heat, i'm never gonna get the ball as a C.

I need your guys input on where I should go next??
In my Center Career I just finished my first season with the Warriors, we beat the Celtics 4-3 to become NBA champions.

During the offseason the teams I could go to were:
                                1. Stay with Warriors
                                2. Thunder
                                3. Heat
                                4. Bulls
Just like you, I was deciding between the Heat and Bulls. I didn't want to go to the Heat because it would be unfair and it would be no challenge at all playing with the big 3 so I chose the Bulls. A few games into the season and I love playing on that team. D-Rose is awesome and me and Boozer form a dominant front court. When I get double teamed I kick it out to Luol Deng and he drains them from outside. We are currently 5-0 1st in the East.

If you chose to stay with the Thunder that's good as well but I wouldn't chose the Jazz they have Big Al and the Heat as you said you wont get the ball.

                                Hope this helps.
