Hey guys,I recently started playing the MyPlayer mode and I'm facing this problem;My player is a point guard.When I started the pre-draft games I could make some decisions on how to perform offence plays like isolation or pick 'n' roll (using a button on my controller).When I joined an NBA team I wasn't able to perform these moves.The list of plays woyld just not show up.Is this normal?Anyone had this problem or any ideas on how to deal with it?Thank you

as nowitzness mentioned, you need to get floor general status before you can start calling plays for your team. just keep playing well and you'll eventually earn your starting spot then get floor general status.

Is there any way to make it so that you can call plays as a center, so I can get the ball out of my point-guard's hands? I don't need him to keep calling plays for Elton Brand when I just started to heat up.

i've never been able to call plays as a C but maybe someone has been able too. what i do to break up the play calling is tap LB which is call for a quick screen. it usually haults whatever play was called. then i go onto the block and get in good position and call for the ball when its on my side.

i've never been able to call plays as a C but maybe someone has been able too. what i do to break up the play calling is tap LB which is call for a quick screen. it usually haults whatever play was called. then i go onto the block and get in good position and call for the ball when its on my side.

How come for me, when I hit LB for a quick screen, the player with ball currently just holds it for a few seconds and jacks up a shot from where they are. This happens all the time.

honestly there isnt a right formula. I just tell people to upgrade whatever skills you want to make your player more fun to play. if you like to drive work on your handles, quickness, layup, dunk, vertical. if you like to shoot, work on your shooting skills, consistency. if your about defense, work on hands, steals, quickness, def awareness.

it really just depends on how you play your MP. just upgrade skills that you think will help your game.

yeah that happens sometimes. i also recommend after doing a quick screen that cancels the play, just run up next to the guy w/ the ball and set a screen. you may not be directly involved in the play with the ball in your hands but it'll get the ball handler moving and not jacking up a long shot

Just played in the rookie-sophomore game. Had my first triple-double, and we beat down the rookies 110-66

finally started playing one of these the other day. made a sg, got drafted by portland (lol) i asked for a trade asap and got traded to the celtics. i've played almost 30 games so far, had my best game of the season tonight. 32 points and 9 rebounds and an A+ haha, i just got the first billboard. i'm having fun with this.

Had a close game against minnesota. Made it go into double ot until Kevin love of all people bust a three and the win.
I played 54 minutes and my stats were 39 points 8 assist 51 rebounds(career high) 13 blocks 5 estelas and 4 turnovers i wad tryjng to extend the game so I could get 55 rebounds but it didnt happen. First day of all star voting I have 1817760 votes for west centers. Maybe I'll start this time because I have the highest overall vest stats and most votes. Stats are 34 ppg 31.4 rpg 7.3 apg 2.8 spg 11.9 bpg.

super disapointed with 2k, I just started a my player as a pg, got traded to the knicks in hope of winning some championships with melo and amare. after 30 games i got the ability to call for the ball more often. I was thinking this was sweet until all my plays where changed. My go to plays with melo and amare where changed with terrible plays where i put the ball into the cpu's hands while i watch my team mates take terrible shots. now with the pick and roll being my only option to really have control being the point guard i feel its pointless to continue my journey when were getting blown out because of the lack of offense. the one change 2k has to make to my player is the ability to choose plays. using the same plays every games gets old, real fast.

I swear the Heat defense is horrible. im a point guard playing with the Heat and we are in the finals against the Trail Blazers. They allow Aldridge to make easy *** jumpers, and Camby to get rebounds like it ain nothin.

With Wade gettin injured w/ his first shot in the first finals game, its been kinda hard keepin everybody on track. Frustrating as hell when Bron misses easy *** shots and Millers not knocking down those given threes. Sometimes i swear they just want the other team to win.

I hate the lakers they always make me score 40+ every time I face them. Right now at the half,I have 26 points, Kobe has 27. This is making me crazy

Finished my game vs the lakers. At the end I think the crowd was booing Shannon brown and cheering for me. Well I finished with 71 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

Btw I was at lakers court.
