BTW i just got this game, my first NBA game, I'm more of a college guy but everyone says this game is great so i got it.
you can raise your shooting % by just taking better shots and not forcing up contested J. I know when I first started playing myplayer, i wanted my guy to dominate so i would jack up forced jumpers and now really play within the flow of the offense. this resulted in really low shooting %. if you play within the confines of your offense, you can get good open looks and even with your below avg rating right now, you can raise your shooting %

with that being sad, i'd raise your offense attributes where you most use them. if you shoot alot of 3 pt, raise that. raise your midrange game, shoot off the dribble and consistency attributes. not sure how much ball handling your sf does but i would raise that to allow your player to drive more consistently

    hope that helps, GL

The heat, the team I was drafted by, are destroying the league with chalmers, Wade, lebron, bosh, dirk novistki and Steve Nash coming off the bench. We are in first in the west. I'm having a pretty solid year, averaging 45 pts, 10 rbds, and 6 asts. The only thing I'm disappointed at is the fact that we have lost three games on buzzers beaters, all in key games against stars at my position: v heat. Chalmers hits a deep 3(will Bynum, the mavs pg did the same thing the next time we played) v grizzlies, oj mayo hits a deep 3, and v. Nets, Carmelo anthony hits a fadeaway 2 in my face. Other than that nonsense, I don't mind Dallas, but probably gonna leave after the year. Don't really know where to go to tho.
i actually dont mind losing buzzer beaters, sure it sucks to lose a game like that but its better than the computer blowing you out.

if you've already got a ring on better teams, i'd try to go to a young rebuilding team. kings, warriors, nets, t-wolves and see if you can help their programs

i may have to give that a try, i've been trying to find more realism in myplayer and 12 min sim on HoF just isnt cutting it. guys arent shooting anywhere near their career avgs

Yea that's what's I was thinking. I'm looking for a team with a good 3 pt shooter and at least a decent big man. I would prefer no ball hogs but that's probably asking for too much.

awh man it's been so long since i've last played (i let a friend borrow it). Got it back last night and jumped right back into it. Scoring PG for the Clippers. We're currently 1st in the west at 20-5 (2nd overall). I average 12.6 points 8.5 rebounds 11.2 Assists 3.5 steals and 1 block. Anyways last night we were playin the lakers and my entire team was pissing me off. Gordon was 0-12 from 3. Blake was playin soft lol. And the coach kept puttin me at sg so mo could play. I'm not sure why i'm always PG. We were down 19 goin into the half and down 10 goin into the 4th. Fast forward a little bit and theres 26 seconds left. score is 85-86. Inbound the ball to mo and he dribbles down the clock. with 5 seconds left he gives it to me and i'm like wth? (i'm a layup artist lol not jump shooter) but i didnt have time to argue i went up and shot. kobe was in my grill but it was nothing but net! i was too excited but they still had 1.7 seconds. enough time for Kobe. I was nervous i really wanted this win lol. So they inbound to kobe and he goes up and shoots. before he even realizes it the ball is bein sent back to him lol. Got my only block of the game but thats "much in the clutch" lol. Felt goodto make the go ahead basket and get the game winning swat (although it wasn't a fierce block still was great considerin the circumstances lol). I just had to share that lol

After 20 games in my second season, Kings are 2nd in the West Conference.
I desperately wanted to go to the Magic. As a PG I wanted top pair up with Dwight Howard. But, I didnt get traded to them because of my high overall. But, I dont regret it at all. We(Nets) are the best team in the NBA. I have good young big men(Lopez & Favors) and a good vet Gooden. We need better Wing men though.
Not really, I hated playing with Monta Ellis and players who try to make their own shot all the time. They always get the ball and run around and take bad shots.
If I am able to win a ring with Nets this year, I will go to a fast pace offensive team. Even though the Nets will be a great team down the line. But my Playstyle is more fitted to a Faster offense. So If I am able to get a ring with the Net, I would turn around a bad team first.

to each his own but if your going 81-1 and your avg 80 ppg and your blowing them out then I would probably step it up and add a little more difficulty to the game. of course unless you like doing what your doing, then keep having fun!

sometimes i feel like i need to score 80 ppg in mymyplayer b/c my team wont help. i'm trying to find that sweet spot b/w getting my own numbers and keeping my teammates around their season avg. 12 min sim HoF isnt quite there. still testing more games with that setting to see if its what i'm looking for

yes.. it seems as though you gotta be part of the team not control it like i did in golden state. depends on the position but let them get you invovled in the natural flow of the game
