Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Wanting to try something new, I wonder if 2K didn't add something to make the game much, MUCH tougher if you go super size on positions that aren't normally that big. I made a 6'10" athletic SF. Yet, every time I attack the basket, I start a dunk animation, I'm up in the air already, and someone flat footed on the ground near me, suddenly is in front of me, turning my sure dunk into a missed layup...which also gets a Bad Shot Selection. And it's not like I'm driving directly at people. I beat my man to the rim. Yet, I'm constantly getting contested layups instead of dunks. When I actually do throw one down, I feel lucky somehow.
If I had long hair, I wouldn't anymore.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
i love google...just found a complete excel worksheet of all the positions and each one of their play styles...
it also includes where their attributes cap out at as well as how high the cost of each specific skill is when you buy it at it's maximum
there's a total of three charts: attributes only, cost only and a compilation of both attributes and cost
the forum on 2ksports by hotobu is good but it's missing some play styles for certain positions...
im assuming the chart that this other guy did is accurate because he used a hacking method found on the PC to quickly max out each category to make this chart in a timely manner...as a ps3 user, i'll just reap the benefits.
his link is here : https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B_M...ZGNmNjdm&hl=en
click at your own risk though because i dont want to be blamed for anything that might affect your laptops or computer but i've downloaded the file myself and i didnt find anything wrong with the file...if anyone wants it but dont want to download it from this user...i'll .rar it myself and send you a link
here's a screen shot to show one of the three charts: http://i53.tinypic.com/2r2uhi8.jpg
now that i have the file saved onto my desktop(he also includes an .html format) i can just bookmark it on my browser and view it online so long as i dont ever delete the file...good dealLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 01-21-2011, 06:20 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
i cant attest to the accuracy of his chart but for the most part the stat caps do coincide with my all-around PG and that of the one listed on 2ksports.com for an all-around PG...other positions should be looked upon with skepticism(until other users with the other type of play style can verify its validity) but i think the guy(instant000) seems fairly honestLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 01-21-2011, 06:40 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
lol alright...but i do agree with that notion though...im a 6'3'' PG and i think i should be able to get blocks just as well as dwayne wade who is only an inch taller yet he gets like 100 blocks per season....Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
looks like an all-around PF is the best way to go(doesnt surprise me)
lol what's funny is that you have like big players with the default soft-spoken voice the game gives it...
i remember adarkin posting a video of his person talking in the post-game interview and the voice was way off with the guyLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 01-21-2011, 07:00 PM.Comment
