Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
thanks for the acknowledgement but i cant take all the credit...lots of people have contributed from this site...i just provided a short synopsis of this whole 300+ page thread
im glad to hear the advice and tips are working to your advantage though and hope they continue to work
you seem to have everything in order and know what to improve next especially with some of the more essential attributes at a higher number as of right now(not sure if it was you who i told this to, but that's where you use your own instincts as to which other area you should start pouring points into next)
but seriously...i hate everyone in this thread who gets amazing trades to go throughim so jealous that you're actually able to play with griffin AND bogut(kaman isnt bad either...again more hate)... luckyyyyyyyyyyyy
im reading what you wrote and i dont see any mentioning of hustle...did you increase hustle yet? it helps significantly...i remember when i couldnt chase down a deflected ball caused by myself because my reaction time was so slow....this probably in all likelihood works with chasing down your man as he blow past you
Oh BTW, I forgot to mention, Mr. Stan Van Gundy, great coach of the Magic would play me at 4 positions- PG, SG, SF and PF.
What a genius he is. A 5'7" player at PF!
That's the main reason I asked for a trade.
The Clippers play me only at PG as it should be!

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Definitely. But you also have to get other attributes too. Quickness, speed, and it seems, hustle. Maybe hands too. This is in addition to steals and/or blocks.
By itself, On ball D is not the highest priority unless you are a defensive stopper. then it's a good start. I am 91 in on ball D but still can't stop great players all the time because my other attributes are too low.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Got injured again for another 5+ games. I am definitely boosting durability.
But I will do it after my next game. My next game is a Key Game and the team that drafted me. I havent used my Skill Points from the last game.Last edited by illwill10; 01-24-2011, 11:24 PM.Comment

I want to stay on one team too, i might change this offseason because i do not want to stay with the heat, i want to go to a team which has no stars and stay for it for the rest of my careerChicago Bulls 1996

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
two more games left...at 988 rebounds
in trying to reach the 1000 rebounds for this season i've recorded my highest rebound in my career thus far....
all-star/default/9 minute quarters
coach benched me for like the beginning of the second quarter and the beginning of the 4th quarter...but with 27 minutes of playtime i recorded 25 boards
i should be able to get the 1000 mark easily with 2 games left and only 12 rebounds needed...missing games is tough i tell youLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 01-24-2011, 11:56 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
but I TOLD YOU man...you should have taken care of that durability right away
the frequency at which i get a twisted ankle is really high and my durability is already maxed at 99...only thing is that twisted ankles only make you miss 3-4 days which isnt that many games(usually 1 or 2 for me because my injuries almost always happen when i have a break in my schedule)Comment

lol i just meant missing games is tough from an egotistical standpoint because i want to lead the league in rebounding...

i still fall back now but i dont get injured from jumpshots anymore(i think i had 1 back spasm from a jumpshot)....most of my injuries are during rebounds and they are almost always ankle injuriesComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Just got my first 50+ points in a close loss. but it was a Key game so I got a lot of points
Between that game, my last game, and 2 Gold Drills I had 9700+ SP. I boosted my Shot Close and Inside to 80. I boosted Hands to 70(was 50) and Hustle to 69(was 52). Forgot to boost Durability. I will do it next couple of games.
I have a couple of easy games coming up. We are 3rd in Conference.
I plan to get Hands and Hustle to 90. Then get Durability to 90, Pass to 80, Ball Security to 80+.Last edited by illwill10; 01-25-2011, 12:51 AM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Before I got injured the first time this season, I was getting alot of playcalls(I was getting 80% of the calls). Now after getting injured twice and missing 15+ games before January, I barely get calls. I was getting 35+ attempts, now I am getting 20-30 attempts. I am still shooting 50+%. I was getting good play calls, now I have to force shots.
Too bad we are 3rd in conference, so I cant look forward to my coach getting fired. I think can get the plays I like to come back when I get my overall past 85.Comment
