6'5'' all-around PG...made him 6'5'' instead of 6'3''(what i usually use) because im tired of struggling with blocks

i'm a 6'2 pg and average .8 bpg. that's high as is for a pg, and technically i'm right at 1 a game since the first few games of the season i played for like 5 minutes. you gotta remember that pgs simply do not block shots. the leader in blocks last year for a pg was baron davis and he only had 43 blocks. that's only .6 per game. he was the only pg in the 40s, and only 2 were in the 30s. the rest are in the teens or 20s which is like .3 a game.

it's just a matter of my ego...i had more blocks in season 1 than the likes of the top PG's in the league...that's dandy and all but i just want a higher stat in this category

im averaging .6 bpg ... im not going for realism here when it comes to defensive stats(hell, im not even doing it with rebounding...i lead the league in it with ~12.7rpg)...im already averaging ~4.4 spg....i just want to have a solid 1 bpg

i'd just like to say that i just finished the first quarter against the suns, and my team scored 44 points and i had 15 points, 2 rebs, 9 assists, 2 steals, and a block in 12 minutes. thats 446 skill points in one quarter, my personal record. plus this is a key game for me. it's my first game ever vs. the suns, and are they this terrible on defense? guys were getting wide open looks and nailing them. i also played 1-3-1 defense and was able to stop them pretty regularly and get a few easy fast break points (not cherry picking).

Any Tips on making Lay-Ups on My Player, I cant buy one and the STUPID attribute Cap for my PG is at 85 Shot in Traffic with a 99 Layup

well they really killed my player by doin this, hopefully it gets changed soon.

I hope so to but in the mean time I uninstalled the patch.

Lay-ups i can make fine but for some reason everytime I get a chance to dunk he just lays it up. My guys a 7-0 center! So my question is are there any tips on dunking the ball? Is it an attribute I need to work on with skill points??

Almost had my first DD last night. 8 points, 12 reb. I had the last shot of the game and it rimmed out.
We lost by 20 anyway.

Improve dunk (+50) and vertical (+70) and you're good to go.

Finals game...2-1 V the heat. Had to "cheat" to win since somehow Lebron could shoot three's over both my player AND deron williams like it was childs play during the last 40 seconds. Don't know how i went from up 7 to down 2 so fast...so i loaded a save i had just in case of BS like that. Then i blocked his first three the second try and he stopped getting the ball Cheap as hell but i don't care.CPU cheats way way worse.

Just made a new 6'10 SF My Player... BEASTIN!!!!!!!!1 Double Double through the Combines averaging 27 points 13 rebs ... Being taller is sooo much funner, and since Fast Breaks are different now, I haven't worried about speed, and have made my off ball, and passing at 70, and mid range at 85 ... I still need better stealing and blocking though, so after I put up my durability, I'm gonna be an all around monster ... Bout to start Summer League after being drafted #13 to the Raptors ... I kind of wanted to go to Hornets though

it seems as though the dribbling course for the +1/+2 speed happens more frequently when you just start your career...well for me at least(my career with the blazers)...im still stuck at a 90 speed in my heat career

lol like two people from this thread would have love to played for the raptors...the envy

you cant have your own custom sliders for myplayer , for obvious reasons

only options are default and simulation .. i went with simulation .

Did you come up with this? Or did Ronnie or someone from 2K prove this to be true?

Yes, you can't have or edit sliders during a My Player season, however, you can adjust sliders prior to starting one. This was the same way in 2k10.

I also have proof that this works. When you change your gamestyle from Default to Sim, you can jump into sliders and notice that some sliders are lower than the default. This is to make the game more "sim"

If you say sliders don't work, then why would changing the gamestyle, which in the end, would just adjust the sliders for you, work?

I don't think this would work because there is a gamestyle setting within the mode. You just cannot actually see or adjust the sliders.

That gamestyle is for any mode. And when you change the gamestyle, all it does is adjust the sliders for you to make it more sim/arcade.
