I would thinkonce you become a solid player in the league your chance to go to w/e should be greater.

Created a 6'8", 210 lb. (for some reason the 2kprofile below is always off on the height/weight) athletic small forward from the University of Maryland named Len Bias.

Did well in the combine, while wearing #34.

Projected 15th but went 16th to the Timberwolves and switched jerseys to #30. (Yes, I was aiming to be in the 17-20 overall range to try and get picked up by Boston...)

Played well early on, 2-4 range for assists, 3-8 rebounds and 10+ points per game for around 16-20 minutes (They do actually tend to play you slightly beyond your allotted minutes if you're having a good game).
They played me at 3 positions (SG, SF and PF) which isn't surprising considering the number of tweener position players they have (Brewer, Johnson, Beasely, Love). Numbers bumped to around 16pt - 7rebs - 3 ast per game. When we actually won a game it was between Beasley, Flynn and Bias for player of the game.

Minutes slowly increased and after maybe a dozen games got moved to starter, moving out Wesley Johnson who had been starting at the 3.
Had one game where Bias exploded for 34pts 14 rebs in a win and promptly got an endorsement deal from Jordan Brand.

Eventually Management asked for my suggestions on who they should trade for, I suggested some attainable (2 and 3 star) traditional centers (no, Milicic never gets played) or solid shooting guards, to fill the T'wolves most glaring holes.

After about 8 more games, hearing nothing about new transactions or anything I threw out a trade request to the Celtics figuring it will be easier to move me there now than later in Bias' career when he'll be a higher overall.

About 4-5 games later Bias and Darko (can't get away from him!) got moved to the Jazz for CJ Miles.

Bias immediately got the nod as a starter, has played 3 games for the Jazz thus far, and was player of the game in the 2 wins. His averages are up around 18pts 9 rebs 3 asts, and starting to get a block or two pretty regularly.

So far Bias was named Rookie of the Month for November and NBA Player of the week once in December.

Other than being a slightly better rebounder, this My Player is putting up comprable stats to what the real Len Bias had in college. No 3pt shot, mid-to-high 70s FT shooter, explosive finisher. Now just gotta find a way to the Celtics for it all to fall into place...

Have had some trouble making the player look like Bias; plan on decreasing head width and probably widening the eyes some, and give him a little stache. Try to give the ears the little turn in at the top, widen the mouth, shorten the length of the nose... It's difficult, though. Never seems to look quite right. Anyone have suggestions on how to make it look more like him?http://community.2ksports.com/commun...blogid=1612469

            RIP Len Bias (November 18, 1963 – June 19, 1986)

A 28 point game is a bad game. Remember that folks. Especially when you win.

I just started this mode and I think I'm missing something: I finished the first game as a pass first PG, using Pro/Sim. After having spent my 10,000 SP + the SP I got from the drills, my OVR is 42 while all the other players are in the 70's. Did I do something wrong?

Any suggestion also on quarter length? I tried to play 12 minutes, but two players have over 15 rebounds!

I find this mode very hard, I was 2 out of 14 shooting, and there's no way for me to go inside with the lack of movement or rapid passing opening lines...

I agree with their shooting though, they seem to miss way too many of their shots when they do have good looks as silly as it sounds I have a hard time getting 4 assists a game some games since they miss wherever they are on the court.
For me, the ballhogging happens a few times every quarter. My team chemistry is in the upper 60s too.

The best way that Ive seen to rack up assists is during a 3-on-2 or 3-on-1 fast break which doesnt happen often and passing to cutters/inside man. Passing to cutters can be a little hard since ball deflection is so common nowadays...

I managed to dish out 11 assists in one game--my career high so far.

I'm a 6'8" 215 lbs athletic SF. Average 18 pts 5 reb and 7 assist in the combine and summer circuit. Assists were a surprise but me and Dejaun Blair were great together. Got drafted in the 1st round by the Spurs, which was a good fit for me I feel. They picked up Richard Jefferson to try and be more athletic last year and he disappointed a bit, but now they have me.

I'm playing 24 mpg now after my first 6 games in the NBA. We are 5-1 with some big blowout wins, we really play great def like in real life. I play SF and PF mostly, but the PF I've been matched up with have all been small so its been nice. I average 15.3 pts and 4.5 rebs a game. They never want to play me in the 4th though lol, 3 out of 6 games I haven't played in the 4th quarter at all, and the other 3 I played the entire 4th because we were up by 20-30. But i think thats changing with my increased minutes.

Biggest game was a 24 point against the Suns in a key game, earning me player of the game. However after the game, the player of the game thing was messed up and just showed me randomly on the court for the whole sequence, no actual highlights, anyone else have this happen

My teams' gotten TWO coaches fired. Unrealistic. The second coach always remains even if the team goes 0-40. There's a reason they're called INTERIM coaches.

It takes a little bit to get used to, your OVR is right, the whole point is to build up from nothing so I suggest do the fundamentals on the court first (setting picks, filling the lane correctly, good D etc) and worry about shooting after that, last year I put points into insdie shooting first and worked my way to the outside but I wasnt a PG I was a SG so I had (somewhat) the ability to get inside and score better then you did. If your finding issues getting inside right now maybe start with your medium shot first and work your way in while you bump up your other stats in the meantime.

Your imediate goal should be team grades of atleast an A, after you get the hang of how it scores and get a better feel for your guy you should be just fine.

As far as quarter length, I personally am set to 8 minute quarters and 8 minute for sim also, for the time I have to play it works for me and the numbers while not "sim" are atleast consistant throughout the league.

My chemistry is 11% with the Wizards but even when it was the start of the season and in the 60% is was the same crap. I figured I (my guy) would just finish destroying the league while my team cant shoot their way out of a cardboard box and come next season ill ask for a trade. Oh, and dont get me started on John Wall being a ballhog along with Mr. Heinrich (yea yea its spelt wrong) I had to deal with his crap last year on the Bulls also...

Well funny you say that considering I was on a 5 game streak and they fired my coach, not to mention (litterally) 12 other coaches in the league in the span of playing three games, didnt look at the calendar but I am assuming that its only been six days, Not to mention one of them was Phil Jackson and the Lakers have the best record in the league followed by Miami lol.

Where can you check team chemistry? Can't find it anywhere...unless I don't see it...looked everywhere.

And does improving your vertical help your jump shots?
