Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

I decided not to play My player due to the gameplay is not quite enjoyable, instead I started a association ( 30 teams, custom sliders ) with the Blazers and created myself ( 5'8 ; 70 OVR PG ) as the starting PG, released Andre Miller so it wouldn't feel like cheating. I play with player lock on my player, averaging 10.5 ppg and 10.5 ast. After 1 year in nba 2k10 my player i did the same thing, an association with a created myself. The game feels soo much more realistic this way.

Last game against the celtics, I went up for a defensive rebound and landed on Ray Allen's foot with my right leg. A severe ankle sprain, out for 4-6 weeks. ( In real life i'm out till christmas with the same injury, on the same leg ). When it happened it was like I fell the pain :S Here's the picture of the incident:

Why are my endorsements still greyed out? Im in my 20-30th game now, i've been on 3 teams, my team rating is A+, im averaging like 20ppg, my overall rating is like 57. I read further back people were getting the jordan endorsements after like the 5/6th game. What gives?

Cool idea and great picture. I'm sorry you're going through the same issue in real life. I know we've all been there at some point or another.

In other news, there's so many posts in these thread that it's kind of daunting to go through. My question is: are we all given the same style of Jordan shoe once the endorsement hits?

The only thing is I wonder if they take height into account. i.e. does a 6'9" shooting guard have the same caps as a 6'0" shooting guard? Do their skill points cost the same?? I've essentially started over due to this thread and I hope that my speed and quickness aren't less because my guy is 6'7" while they made a 6'2" SF to get their results.

So I started over and made an all around SF instead of a Athletic SF and I still got drafted by the Nets... this time in the 1st round though. I think Im just destined to be a Net... oh well Im coming hard for T-Wills spot

Anyone having problems with the play books in my player? I changed some of the plays for the celtics but after I rebooted I no longer have those plays nor can I get them back. I have changed the play books and saved everything even the rosters but no luck.

Thats a great question, I am starting, A+ most games, avg. is an A score 32+ points a game with some assists and rebounds and all I got was my letter like 15 to 20 games ago and I have seen nothing since then.

So after 7 games I got my first Jordan letter and billboard. Not sure why as I'm averaging 12 ppg 3 rpg and 3apg as the 6th man. My responses have probably been a little better than average. I keep taking more and more minutes, I just hope when I am starter that I play at PG and don't get bounced over to SG like I do now.

When do you get more drills to do? I'm at game 9 now of my rookie season and I've got 3 or 4 drills left. I'm trying to do the dribbling drill to get more speed and I'm wondering when the next batch of drills become available.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

I played a key game last night and had the best and worst game so far at the same time....
Playing the Bulls, Derrick Rose scored 27 on me and I had 10 TOs.
                      I also had a triple double though... 40pts 10reb 10ast
(Guess you could call it a quadruple double with all the TOs)
Still had an A+ grade, but we lost by 15. Durant, Green and Harden all shot under 35%... I started forcing things trying to get back into the game, hence all the turnovers.
Bulls defense is smothering... best D Ive played against so far....
                      Always in the passing lanes!

Next game @ Minnesota it was a blowout, I had 19ast with 5min left in the 4th. We were up by 25... I needed 1 more assist to reach the 20 assist milestone and I get taken out for the rest of the game.... Doh!

Also, ever since Ive become starter at PG theyve had Jeff Green starting at CENTER! Hes getting abused on the defensive end and keeps getting his shot blocked on Pick and Rolls... very frustrating! Even when Collison or Ibaka or even DJ White come into the game they come in at PF and leave Green at C... doesnt make sense

                      Current Starting Five:
                      PG My Player Jon Law
                      SG James Harden
                      SF Kevin Durant
                      PF Serge Ibaka
                      C Jeff Green

I believe you also have to win the game. I got all my letters after BIG games. I got my welcome letter after my 1st start (which was game 8) and had a double double. Then got my letter during an 11 game win streak (25th game). Then I recently got the Magazine cover after i go rookie of the month for the second time. And it said he needs someone to be on his new shoe creation (or something like that).

                          @StueyisugLy

It does seem like alot of people have been drafted to OKC...
Durant runs PF for me sometimes... I like it when he is because he takes over as the Pick and roll partner and he is much more effective at the rim then Green.
I played against Toronto last night too and lost mostly because of Green.
Bargnani was blocking everything Green put up; he was also shooting over Green at will. Scored 33 w/ 7 blocks. Green shot 3-14 or somewhere around there.
Ibaka or Aldrich should be starting at C.
They need to give us the ability to set the rotations once we earn a starting role.
I also thought Westbrook was gonna start at the 2, but Harden's been doing good for me. I need shooters around me so he's prob a better fit anyway.
Id like to ask for a trade but I dont want to go to just anybody and currently the Pistons and T-Wolves are the only teams interested.

Even if you don't want to boost your speed, you can sell back the speed +1 which will give you 1000-2000 skill points depending on how high your speed is already (e.g. my speed's 95 and it's costing me about 2250 sp to upgrade my speed by 1, but if i sell a speed i get 75% of what it's worth, so I'd get 1687, which I can use to upgrade my other stats.) I do this to upgrade my quickness... if i get +1 quickness from a drill, all i get it +1, but if i get +1 speed... I can turn it into +3 or even +4 quickness by selling the speed back.

I got drafted to NJ as an all around 6'4 SF (27th NJ)... Had an alright combine, I got drafted higher my first time as an 6'8 athletic SF (24th ATL)...

I averaged about 15 pts, 5 rebs, 6 asts... I noticed since I was shorter and less athletic, rebounds are much harder to come by, but I am now able to make three's and also don't have as hard a time dribbling... I do also miss my speed with being athletic... I don't get fast breaks or past defenders as fast anymore, and with my height and less dunking ability, leads to more misses at the rim, either from being blocked, or not going up for a dunk like I had before

I'm about to start my summer league, I need to become faster, and a better scorer, because now it is much harder to get places being a SF at 6'4 is an disadvantage

u have to put in count that that you have post game press comments and you have to be a a**hole to some questions to get your game endorsements. Im only 15 games in average 20 points a game and I have gotten my letter and my first billboard.
