Is anyone else really frustrated with the constant man switching? The game has an uncanny ability to switch my man to whoever is about to score, especially on fast breaks. It's as if they want me to guard 3 people at the same time...

Also what layup rating do you need to not miss easy layups? I have at least 80 layup rating now and I miss nearly every one. If it's contested at all, it's not going in. I noticed this same thing when I play with the rockets, Aaron Broocks absolutely cannot make any contested layups at all.

Dude I knew I wasn't crazy, it has consistently happened every single game. Sometimes multiple times a game.

I think that you will need to up your shot inside, shot close, and shoot in traffic. I got all those to 80 while my layup is at 85 and I can hit most of my layups, or at least draw a foul.

With the improved defense this year, if you simply press the shoot button while driving to the hole, you are very likely to bump into a defender and miss the layup. I have found that the euro step layup is really effective, and even if you get caught between a few defenders you can still pass it out for an assist. Either that, or use to push the right stick to either side of the basket to try to avoid the contact.

This is what I usually do, and I get them off without contact, they just sit on the rim and fall out. I checked again and I lowered my Layup to 70 to get 5 more dunk rating. I also have all of that other stuff up to at least 70, I guess i'll need to just get them all up to 80.

Doing ok with my Defensive 6'8" SF. I'm on the Heat and play either SG, SF, or PF. Averaging 3 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds and a half a block a game. I was pretty dang proud of myself when I went 6/5/4 the last game against the Nets. I can't help but think that all of you guys averaging 20+ ppg as a 60 rated player might want to up the difficulty a bit.

I have it on all-star and I score at least 20 a game, my high is around 40 I think but I way playing on pro then. I play on the Heat as well, at least until I can get a trade. Really I think it just comes down to if you put your skill points into the right attributes.

That and you have to realize that you just aren't going to get around the CPU defender, the game doesn't let you with all the bumping. I suggest getting your crossover up and working the mid range game.

Oh and I almost forgot, I only have a 48 overall rating.

It's not really about difficulty, at least not in my experience.

If you spend all your points maxing out mid-range shot and off-the-dribble shooting, it's not really all that inconceivable to be averaging 20+ ppg.

Some people prefer maxing out the stuff they use most first, and then round out their player later.

You don't... all they ask you for is your opinion on who would be a good fit for the team. It doesn't mean they'll necessarily trade for the players you pick. And, you have no say in who they will give up to make the trade you ask for, if they make the trade you ask for in the first place. If a trade is made, all you can do is go to the transactions screen and check who they traded for, or just check your roster.

So with about 10 games before the playoffs, I finally got my shoe deal. It was also cool that the announcers were talking about it in the next game I played. Now i'm in the playoffs, #1 seed against the Nuggets. Going for the sweep!!!

Just started mine today and man it is great fun. I'm a 6'3, 210 pound point guard, so I tower over pretty much every other point guard in the league, lol. I'm only a 47 right now, as I have only got 3 games into the season. I was picked in the first round with the 25th pick by the Memphis Grizzlies. I think it's needless to say that I will request a trade sometime this season, as I want to play on a title contender in need of a good point guard. Hoping to get traded to the Heat!

Since I got traded from the Nets to the Warriors I've been putting up about 18 PPG 6 rebounds and 4 assists...
Definitely the team I need to be on

Finished only one game of the Summer Circuit. I put up Monster numbers!

                            36 points, 20 Rebounds!, and 10 assists, with 2 blocks as a 6'6 SG.

The Pacers seems like the right place for me, I like their squad. They even let me play PG for 1 minute. =D

It seems like I need to bump the difficulty to SuperStar Sim.. maybe even HOF.

Currently on a 11 game streak an they are still firing my coach after every other game no to mention still from any team from around the league. Its getting a bit annoying having my press confrence being the same thing every other game.

Didnt get chosen for the All-Star game even though I have been leading the league in scoring (player of the week and month since) since late November, I am assuming that the press confrences have something to do with that and my league wide popularity isnt high enough to be considered. God forbid I answer loyal or profesional all the time....

I'm 49 overall SG averaging 24 points a game on all-star with 14 NBA games played. I'm on the heat and I guess they traded someone for Ben Wallace. The lineup is Wade at the 1, me at the 2, LeBron at the 3, Bosh at the 4, and Wallace at the 5. Somehow we are first in the east, first in defense, 3rd in offense, and have the highest FG % despite the fact that "The Big 3" constantly jack up bricks.

Every time they are about to shoot a bad shot I ask for a pass and then I get a negative teammate rating as they miss the shot. I've been asking for trades and nothing has gone through yet, this is a nightmare .
