Similar story to my player, drafted(same pick and round) by OKC, but I'm a Seattle Sonics fan, so being the disgruntled fan I am... I requested a trade once the regular season started. 6'5" Scoring SF. Have been played at SG(very few minutes)/SF/PF. But primarily was seeing minutes at PF. And I hated it. I would get terrible mismatches, and did fairly well, but it's not how I wanted to be rotated into the lineup.

The game seems to do a poor job, when you play as a SF, of playing you at different positions. I should be rotating with Harden with my size, and play style, but instead am played as Durant's garbage time fill in, and Nick Collison's backup.

I've just been "appointed" to the 6th man role. And haven't played in it for more than a game. But I hope it attracts a trade. Currently the Warriors and Bucks are interested.

Also, funny little easter egg... Since requesting a trade, the crowd often chants "Trade him, trade him, trade him" when I have the ball.

Hey guys, what do you think the best position is to start a My Player career. I tried PG and SG, PG was the easiest so far but I still stink.

SOrry if this has been discussed but i don't really want to scroll through 63 pages of thread. But when your franchise asks you what players they should trade for, do they actually do it? has this happened to anyone? I am a 5'9 pg for the spurs and if the traded tony parker for al jefferson, andrew bogut, or andrew bynam (all similar ratings to parker) my team would be unstoppable, plus i'd actually get to start. just curious? also does requesting a trade mean you will be for sure traded or can you request and not ever get traded? last thing is i never saw anything about a contract, is your my player a free agent after the first season? thanks

So does anyone have any tips or build for a PG? I'm just awful. I get around 2pts and 3assists a game in d-league. Although I'm set at Pro/Sim/5min (i'm going to change it to 12 when I finally get into the NBA). My average teammate grade is C-. I barely ever get any points to put into any useful skills.

I'm a 40ovr with all shot skills in the low 60s. I'd like to be a layup/post player, but I can never get into the post without trying a shot and it getting blocked into the stands, or just missing a good throw and getting penalized anyway for bad shot selection (even though i'm a passer first)

Yeah, try to get out in the breaks. when if you are on the perimeter and someone shoots bolt to the other end. if your team reabounds the ball they will give it to you for an easy basket. its the best way to put up solid numbers. also if you wanted to be a post player you should have been a center or a pf

yeah you do get trade most of the time you get to pick your 3 destinations if they are interested in you its a good chance u will land there but if nobody is interested then you can land anywhere. after the year you can pick a few team to go with after year 1 i went from dallas to thunder in year one to having thunder, spurs, rockets, clippers, and 1 more team to choose from i went back with thunder wasn't sure if was go get playing time also. b/c their back court was load. i'm a 50 overall i'm pretty sure you get a small bump in overall after the season

I hit the button to call for a pick and lob it to the man rotating to the basket. It makes for easy assist. Don't be afraid to pump and shoot too especially on the switch because you may have a big man on you that can not react quickly.

yeah i agree kind of feel like cheating but oh well with the low overall ratings you got to do wat is necessary. so as i see them shoot the rock i'm going the thing that gets me mad is when i would miss open layups b/c the animation would take to long i would run straight down the center lane now i move a lil to the either side so i don't get caught in the animation. if you want to be a post player use your skill points to build up your player but you want go up in rating much since your a pass 1st pg

in d-league you should be averaging more than that i was getting around 7 and 5 assit a game. with a defensive pg

Anyway, the reporter asked about us not having won in a long time, and I answer arrogantly expecting to say something like "the league better look out, because the losing stops now!" or something like that. Instead I just RIP my teammates about how they don't do anything, can't hit open shots, and I'm sick of carrying them, LOL!

Also, because my guy is so automatic I upped the difficulty from Pro/Default to All-Star/Sim, just to see how it is.
i play on hall of fame/sim i'm still trying to figure out the difference in the choices what impact do they have i see the chemistry league wide opinion and fans support after you pick your answer but does it affect anything and how can you tell your percentage rate in each one

I never thought I would say this, but I actually think I may end up sticking with the Spurs. I was drafted by them, 20th pick, and I'm a 6'1" athletic PG.

50 games in, and Tim Duncan is CLOWNING.

Homie just came off a 25 point, 23 rebound game. And he's been doing stuff like this all year. He's second behind Kobe in MVP voting. FYI I play 12min/all-star/sim.

Makes me wonder how long Timmy D can keep running like this.

Now, I think since my pass rating is a 95, it helps your players actually make shots a bit. Because when I first got into the league, nobody could make jack squat. We actually stared off 4-12, and now we're 41-17 (I was injured a few games as well). But if we keep running like this then I see no reason to bounce. Although I wonder if the team will grab any of the 5 guys I selected when they asked me.

I still kind of want to go to a younger team and build from there.

So you get a choice of teams to pick from at year's end?

got drafted 2nd round by heat than didn't make camp so went to d-league got called up mavericks went back to d-league called up by thunder went back to d-league called back up than finish off the year losing 4 straight in the playoffs to the Utah Jazz nobody couldn't make a shot on 3 ft goal the whole series tried getting durant involved but he had horrible games. like everybody else. After the end of the year i was a f/a an i had the choice to to sign with Thunders, Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, can't remember 5th choice.
after looking at rosters an where i would fit in i stayed with Thunder because were a young team with great upside compared to the other teams. Also Spurs won the Title back to work now making a legend
