omg trade away tim duncan and caron butler for a solid SF

both are doing quite well on my team but i want a young team to build as a dynasty

doesnt help that tim duncan(6th man) gets 33 minutes of playing time and is sapping away all of demarcus cousins' minutes(starting at C with kevin love starting at PF) down to just 7 minutes per game....

I also don't like the idea of asking for a trade, but when you're displacing a star from the starting lineup, that can kill the fun too.

I also dont Like asking for a trade, but when I am steadily improving, there is a Superstar at your postion, and you dont fit their scheme I think it calls for it. I dont want to take a Star's starting job. I dont want to take over Chris Paul Starting spot. I would not mind taking over someone who isnt well known.
I do to wish I could ask to trade someone from my team. When I played on GS, I wanted Monta Ellis off the team so bad. As a PG it was frustrating that he carried the ball up the court all the time. It was hard to get assists when he ran all around the court after I passed him the ball.

i've been switching between so many different layup packages

so far i've used:
-all-star guard
-steve nash
-dwayne wade
-manu ginobili(current)
-kobe bryant
-jamal crawford

im too lazy to check out what 2k assigned to tyreke evans but maybe i'll use the same layup as him....he makes so much contact layups as a teammate

I used All Star. It is too flashy and is not worth it, so I dont make most of them. Since I play with Chris Paul, I see how it is. His seems too flashly. I will try out Air Jordan.

Can anyone give me advice for this scenario? I'm up by 11+, suddenly a turnover leads to a quick bucket for the other team and causes them to go hot and make a comeback. My issue is how do I cool them down before the computer just runs us over? Does a timeout cool them or do I just have to try to defend and hope for best? This happens to me a lot especially in late game situations. Doesn't help that my teammates help them by bricking (seemingly) every shot.

Just had the best game of my career, beat the Rockets 113-105 with my Thunder, and my PG had 54 points, 16 boards, and 11 assists. Got the milestone for 500 career points, as well as for 50 points in a game.

Through 26 games (I've played in 25), I'm averaging 21.8 PPG, 10.0 RPG, and 8.3 APG. I plan to eventually ask for a trade before the break so that I can have my own team essentially, and I'm hoping I end up with my hometown Bobcats.

just keep pace with them...use fastbreaks(so this requires defense and rebounds), pick and rolls or cutting guards/forwards to the basket for easy points...lead passing

Much thanks to the advice I got here earlier. I just put up my first A+ game. Things are still in the D-League for me but I figure they'll have to bring me up at some point.

normally i will call a timeout and it seems to lessen the chance of the cpu staying on a run.

lol im done driving to the basket while in traffic...so many canned block animations that resorts to my player losing the ball and getting a turnover rather than just a missed FG...i would be fine with it if those players were great defenders at the PF or C position but i know they're not

jason thompson got at least 4 canned block animations on my player in one game

spencer hawes got at least 3 canned block animations on my player in another game

im going back to being a shooter and open lane dunker on fastbreaks...but im primarily going to rip teams apart from beyond the arc

I used All Star. It is too flashy and is not worth it, so I dont make most of them. Since I play with Chris Paul, I see how it is. His seems too flashly. I will try out Air Jordan.

i only used the all-star layup package because it reminds me of how derrick rose lays the ball in from cutting across the basket(i think that's the only direction to trigger that animation)

if anything...the air jordan layup package is the flashy one...he switches hands...

i've seen a few cpu generated players do it in my career so far....most of the time the ball went behind the backboard as they switch hands which results in a turnover

Like the other user said. A timeout is the right call at this moment to stop their momentum. Also, try to score by taking the ball inside, hopefully you score or get a foul call as that usually slows down the run as well.

Now that my player is rated in the 70's, the game is way too easy. I'm blowing out every opponent by like 20 now. Guess its time to push it up to All-Star and watch my teammates brick every shot.

because lately for some reason i find myself getting to that mark 2-4 minutes into the second quarter(12 minute quarters)

I almost got a triple dud twice but didnt have enough minutes. It is easy to get rebounds, I havent improved it much but I get close to 10 rebounds. Assists is hard. Players bricking easy shots. Big men missing layups, contacted shots and quick shots. Unless I pick and roll alot I cant get assists.

When I first saw it seemed too flashy. Next time I play I will just try it in shootaround. I dont want a layup package with high degree of difficulty.
I just chose no dunk package. I dont plan on boosting it to my 2nd or 3rd season. So I hope I only attempt layups.
