Well I am a scoring pg for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Played 15 games so far into my rookie season. I play on allstar and 8 minute quarters. I average 22.7 PPG 5.9 RPG 4.6 APG. We are 13-2 only losing to the Heat and Lakers. We would be 12-3 but we beat the Lakers in our first meeting in OT. Regardless of our good record I feel like asking a trade due to the fact it seems as if I carry the team and since I'm just a 55 ovr pg, it seems kinda annoying when I can't count on my team in the clutch.

stay. You're the "superstar (statistically)" so its the best time to be a rookie since you get the most skill points and can control the team (to a degree). If you join a superstar laden team, you will not get as many minutes, points, looks you name it. You sound like your team is doing fine, even with better teams, you cant always depend on players making shots.

Hmm... good point. I guess you can say I am the "face" of the franchise statistically. Hell, maybe I can do what KG failed to do and win a ring for Minnesota. Let's see how the rest of the year goes. Maybe the CPU would make trades for the betterment of our team.

Yup, as you gradually improve your team chem, the team will ask you to influence their trading and you can recommend a few players. Dont go for the superstars since there is a slim chance at signing them, just try finding guys to build around you (good shotblockers/rebounders/defenders/assists).

Yeah I know lol I've finished 2 careers already. As a SF and C. And by finishing careers I mean raising all attributes to its limit

lol, then you should already know the process! being on a weak team as a rook is good/bad. You may not win a championship but you will prob develop better.

1st time on a bad team really. As a SF I was drafted by the Spurs. I played 2 years there and won a ring on my 2nd year. Then I played for the heat my 3rd year as the starting SF and they put LeBron at the 4 and bosh at the 5.

On my C I was drafted by Orlando made the finals my rookie year and lost to LAL. Then I played 2 years with the Celtics and won 2 rings.

Which brings me to my pg with the timberwolves. Which is why being the "guy" of the team during my rookie year is alittle out of the ordinary for me.

It is January in my season and I still havent gotten a Key game yet. I accomplished many milestones already. I only missed 11 games so far. I still holding the 30 points off.

Lot's of great info and stories on this thread. I love reading this at work during meetings, get's me excited to get home and pop this in the PS3.

Quick Question. What suggestions would you guys make if I'm wanting to create a PF/C like Blake Griffin. Basically a rebounding beast with a low post and okay mid game and can dunk the ball like only Blake Griffin can?

I used half my attribute points on rebounding skills and saved the rest. AVG 22 Reb's a game in the combine with A ratings and got drafted by the Grizz in the 1st round.

So, where should I add my pts to become like the real Blake Griffin? Thanks!

Dunk, Vertical, and hes actually a good ball handler but I would stick with Dunk and Vertical right now.

if you want to learn how to turn on PLAY VISION than thats your best bet if you want to play realistic sim ball and not do all the work offensively. ever since i turned on play vision its been so great not to have the ball in my hands 100% of the time my player is treated like any other player in the NBA and he's a rookie too he only has the ball in his hands 10% of the time and if the game gets close down the stretch i demand the ball in the 4th quarter.

if you dont want to shoulder the load do that a few games ago i was playing the hawks and the game kept switching leads going back and forth and each team kept going on runs it was crazy. finally it was the fourth quarter and i decided to take over cuz we were down 5 with 2 minutes left and my guy was on fire lol i was giong crazy because he was hitting contested jumpers on all star difficulty i finally tied it and next possession they gave it to j-smooth to take the lead but he missed and left it at 90-90 with 18 seconds left on the last play they inbounded it to me and i held the ball until the clock was down to 4 (i didn't get any negative team feedback for holding too long) and i did one of the pre made iso's and missed a 3 at the buzzer.

in OT chris paul and david west took over cp3 had about 5 assists in OT it was the best game i ever played.

Yeah, I'm also experiencing small amounts of key games. Now that I am in the East, it took about 43 games into my first season for my first key game against the Bulls. In my old My Player, played in the West, I had a keygame about once a week it seemed.

How do you turn playvision on?

you have to use a program called tsearch to freeze the nba 2k11's sliders and coach settings, its real simple stuff if u want u can find the nba 2k11 slider/settings freezer file in this forum thread

this sucks my player was selected to the rookie challenge team and when i get past the loading screen it crashes, anyone know a fix? i really don't wanna start all over i've been playing 12 min quarters and 50 games in lol

first time ever winning the championship with a western conference team(total of 4 nba titles so far)...i also love the fact that they pitted me in the finals against the team that drafted my player...sort of historic being that it was a dragged out 7 games series...derrick rose(former teammate) hugged my player after i made the last shot...i uploaded a snapshot but it looks like an awkward moment more than anything O_O

my player won the finals mvp(all games were simulated with the exception of the last game of the finals)
