Do you guys teammates ever hit 3 point shots? I was on the Nets and they played Anthony Morrow 5 min....0.0 and Farmer/Harris/Outlaw consistently bricked fade away 3 pointers.

So I left them for the Knicks, according to NBA stats they were making the most threes. Now CHandler/Feilds/Felton all brick shots but NBA is telling me they are shooting 40%+ which I KNOW isn't true.(They often go 1-4, 0-3. Never get hot...ever)

We also only take maybe 12 threes in a game when the real life Knicks take almost 23.


Is there anyway to fix this stuff?

you cant necessarily fix it. . . the developers made the games 'harder' by downgrading the intelligence of your teammates and increasing the AI for your opponents...

what i have found to be effective in having my teammates drain 3's is to usually do it on a fast break...

when you get a fastbreak going and you see either your SG or SF running along the baseline near the perimeter...you should pass it to them when they're wide open...usually they pull up, catch and shoot

another one is if they're coming off a screen and have an open shot from the beyond the arc...usually by the wings of the perimeter...

for some reason they make the 3's as they're coming off of running

There's people here who are really good at pointing what you should look at for specific position.

I'm an All-Around C, I'm with the Pacers, playing 50-50 between C and PF.

Where should I put my XP points I get to be the most effective in the game (I got torched by Wallace and Muhamad of the Bobcats while I got a decent game against Speights and Brand of the Sixers) and make my 49 OV C not suffer that much of the low overall?

if you're looking for a quick overall rating then you pour points in your off. and def. awareness(which really is useless unless you simulate games)

but if you want defense...it's going to take a lot of skill points....

you need to upgrade these areas:
-verticals(this will help with both blocks and rebounding)
-hustle(going after loose balls especially pass deflections or rebounds)
-hands(catching rebounds and intercepting passes rather than just deflecting them)
-quickness(more agile so you can move around easier on the court)
-speed(just plain faster)
-stamina(using turbo wont wear you out as much)
-on-ball defense(ability to stop your man's dribble)
-steal(works in conjunction with hands, on-ball and playing the passing lane)
-block(since your a C, this will help you clog the lanes)
-post-def(a bit hard to guard post-shots but get this up anyway)

Got this game for Christmas and have been playing as a SF for the Thunder. Love it so far.

I'm 6'6" and a 3 Point specialist. About 10 games in I'm the 6th man averaging about 8.5 points, 5 boards, 3 assists and 1/2 a block and steal. My best scoring game thus far was 17 points, and I also had 10 board in this game for my first and only career double double thus far.

My only problem is they constantly want to play me at PF or C. I understand Durant is the SF and lightyears better than I am. But I would obviously prefer to be placed at SG instead of PF/C since I'm only 6'6". I'm getting killed defensively trying to guard guys like Duncan. The game against Utah I just played, Al Jefferson put up like 16 points just from when I was guarding him. Is there any way to stop them from putting me in at those positions? It's killing my performance grade and my team's win/loss record.

It's funny you answered because I was thinking about you when I wrote the message at first! ;-)

Ok, I got them write down, I'll work and put the points where it's needed on defense.

As far as offense, where should I place points. I've got some in the 60's (like shot close, shot low post, etc) while there's some in the 30's too.

Killed in the Summer Circuit! Made the NBA, going to do my 10 Speed drills, which may take hours then starting the season!

The new automatic play-calling makes My Player unplayable in my opinion. I started a SF before the patch and was doing fine about 7 games in the season on the Rockets. Post-patch every possession Aaron Brooks stands at the top of the key dribbling until there is ~5 seconds left then jacks up a 3. The past 3 games he has gone 7/31 from down town.

I've tried running the stupid plays and they work maybe half the time if I'm lucky. They really need to make an option to turn it off.

Ah so I'm guessing it will be a lot easier to go after Marc Gasol and Odom after Season 1. Hopefully it will work out. Anyone on the Wizards and think that getting rid of Yi Jinlian and Blache is a bad idea?

I've finally decided after 25 games to request a trade from the Blazers. 8 game losing streak, Oden never gonna be healthy meaning I have to be a 6'6 PF at times though I'm a SF/SG, I play almost 40 mins a game(10 min quarters) so my guy is super tired by the 4th quarter since I barely get taken out for a break.

I requested a trade to either the Magic,Hawks or Cavs(who are doing real well).

After requesting the trade, Magic suddenly got interest in my guy so hopefully I manage to get traded there. Playing SF with Nelson,Arenas,Richardson as the guards and Howard as C would be real great. Can't wait to see if I manage to land there, especially since my guy is only a low 50's overall(though he averages 18 points and 10 rebounds) so I can imagine the Magic getting him for cheap.

I just got drafted to the New Jersey Nets as the 1st pick of the 2nd round...I guess I'll try to stick with this team as long as I can. I'm glad I didn't get drafted to an amazing team...I don't want it to be too easy to win a champiosnhip in my 1st year.
