IMO, unless your team acquires a good post player, you should ask for a trade. Tyreke is so young and he will be the star unless you want to raise your overall to like 95. If you get a post player you could have an elite team with Tyreke at SG,SF you at PG/SG and a good PF/C .

Good teams to get traded to would be teams like the Bulls, Clippers, Hornets, Nuggets, bucks, and Magic. I know Vince Carter is on the Magic, but he'll retire within two or three seasons and by then you'll be able to play well with a championship caliber team along side Superman. So my top three would be Bulls, Magic, Nuggets.
madden has way too many players on the field and it's hard to give each player realistic stats in my opinion...that's why i prefer basketball's endeavor in this rpg type of mode...it's also nice that you play both on offense and defense in basketball comparative to football...

go with the bulls...corey brewer is nothing and you will fill a desperate void at SG for chicago...their starting lineup is super young and you will have a chance to make a great dynasty with that team....

im with the kings now but im a PG so everything falls in place for me due to their lack of a PG threat...it doesnt hurt that they somehow acquired kevin love before i joined the team...only glaring hole we have on this this team is at the SF position where a cpu generated player is the starter...i rather have a lowly rated omri casspi start than to have a cpu generated player be a starter(idc if he's rated high overall)

Just had my 3rd straight Triple double with my new team. We lost against the Celtics. We had 21 TOs compared to 5 TOs by the Celtics. I did just accomplished 5 Triple Doubles though.
With 7500 SPs from that game and POW I boosted hustle from 68 to 92.
It is the All Star Weekend. Since I missed 20+ games already I missed the Rookie Challenge, but is still 2nd in ROY. Next game against Spurs

duncan is on my team at the moment with a year on his contract so maybe after this year he hits retirement...all the other players you've listed are still playing on the same team with the exception of carter(thunder), pierce(blazers), and mcgrady(76ers)

i play all my games in the regular season with 12 minute quarters...i only simulate the injuries when they ask me to sit out...

lol i actually simulate the playoffs and only play the clinching round of the finals to get the 5 nba championship milestone(i currently have 4 titles, won one each year) since the stats dont really count in your career...i've only played two complete post-season(season 1 and season 2)

        my previous teams were:
        season 1: bulls
        season 2: heat
        season 3: hawks
        season 4: kings
        season 5: kings(current)

so my first three years were in the eastern conference but at the time i wanted to go westward(i didnt have any teams interested in my player back then that i wanted to play for in the west; either blazers or kings)...now that im with the kings, it's sort of a joke with the aging players in the western conference on the bench and the influx of cpu generated starters...
I'm curious what teams in your career(besides your team) are consistently great every year. Like in my career the Wizards have been great, with John Wall 91ovr, a SF 92 ovr, a sg 91 ovr, another sg/sf 88 ovr. There a really young team and I always have trouble with them. Other good teams are the Bobcats (Usually always past 90 ovr) 76ers (same) and the knicks (KD and Stoudemire). The west has fallen off as the best team in the coference is the clippers at 88 ovr, who have a 15-17 record.

And in your career, is the balance of great players favoring the eastern conference more?

          No trades.
          Current Rotation:
          PG- Juan Lopez(me)
SG- Devin Harris(plays great as a SG)
          SF- Damion James
          PF- Derrick Favors
          C- Brook Lopez
Devin Harris plays well at SG. CP3 didnt play well at SG because he is more of a Passer than shooter. Lopez to Lopez is going to be a great pick and roll tandom.

lakers have made it to the playoffs every year despite the aging core players of kobe, gasol, and bynum(i think their time is running out though...they barely got the 8th seed last season)

the blazers are a tough match up and luke babbitt doesnt seem to ever miss from beyond the arc now that he's a starter(they dont really do good in the playoff race though)

the grizzlies are stacked at every position with the exception of a PF(although their cpu generated PF is fairly solid)...im not sure about this season though(they were the 2nd seed last season) since they lost marc gasol

the texas triangle is always tough to play against...houston is more loosely based on the fact that yao ming is such a nuisance when he's on the floor...spurs have a revamp core of younger players(iggy, james harden and tony parker) despite losing duncan and manu(not sure where he disappeared to, retired?)...mavericks are a bit annoying as well since jason thompson has somewhat went beastmode with his cheesy canned block defense...it sucks because even when you get him into foul trouble...you have dirk replacing him off the bench who unfortunately brings with him an outside game...

i always have issue with the nuggets and hornets...although, it's rarely because of carmelo and cp3...it's more so trying to contain j.r. smith's and trevor ariza's shooting

i dispose of the eastern teams fairly easily:

but the bulls are steadily improving in ranking every season(losing my player didnt really hurt them since derrick rose was their legitimate PG)...

the heat arent really as intimidating as they were during season 1...the big three is still there and putting up stellar numbers but they're always in the bottom half of the eastern conference teams to make the playoffs

the celtics in the past had been pesky on defense since im matched up with rondo who likes to reach in for the ball...not sure how losing pierce(in addition to kg and shaq earlier in my career) will affect this team during this season

magics always present a matchup problem since they're too trigger happy from beyond the arc(they still have rashard lewis since i started my player before the trade went down in real life)

the biggest threat i see coming out of the east for years to come is from the pacers....roy hibbert is one huge tree to get around...granger can make shots from anywhere and collison is formidable

it's hard for me to assess which side has more talent since most teams have more than one star player...but if you're talking about current nba players then i will have to say the west still have more of them with the caveat being that most of the younger star players are in the east

I am close to maxing Hustle(92). I wont max Durability, but I will boost it to 90. My next three are Hands, Pass, Ball Security. Then I can finally work on shooting.
My Offense is 60. My defense is 92. My OVr is 64. My speed is 98. My Quickness is 86(4+ shoes). my LAyup is 90(plan to boost it to 93-95). Ball Handle and Off Ball Hand 93-94.

if i wasnt in the eastern conference during my rookie year...the heat would probably have advanced and played against the lakers in the finals...
but unfortunately for them i was drafted by the bulls and we swept the lakers 4-0

passing doesnt really matter as long as you have the right angle...

passing was near the last offensive aspect of my attributes i touched and i managed 1.6 topg in my rookie year with 13.9apg...

this was when the patch didnt come out yet...so i rarely had much rebounding opportunities....which meant most of my focus was on passing and limiting turnovers

with the patch and the game being made quite too easy for PG it's a bit easy for users to think a high passing rating will make them a perfectionist in assists but let me tell you, the defense is still the same defense and they will still react to your passes the same way regardless of your passing rating...it's all about angles and will always be about angles

I can keep my TOs down on a avg night, probably 2-3 max. But when I face elite teams, I avg 5-10 TOs a game. I probably might boost Ball Security first, then Hands

Anyone else struggle with the opening combine stuff ?

It's a combination of my guy sucking, and this retarted team mate grade thing. I'm matched up against Evan Turner and he's so much better than my guy it's not even funny.

Just wondering if it gets smoother afterwards.

Your guys going to struggle in the combine because his overall rating is horrible. The trick is to play smart and play good defense. Set a bunch of screens, box out, get rebounds, and take smart shots. You want to get your team mate grade as high as you can to get skill points so you can upgrade stats so by the time your in the NBA your only semi-horrible.:o

assists, rebounds and double teams are the easiest to boost your teammate grade in the beginning....highly recommend the double team

I'm close to averaging a triple double with my rookie PG on the Thunder (34 games in) with 24.1 points, 10.9 boards, and 9.7 assists, but I've got a ridiculous amount of turnovers. I'm by far the league leader in the category and I'm up over 5.0 per game. I tied the single game record at one point with 14 turnovers. A lot of it is just passes getting deflected and then picked off, but occasionally I'll lose my dribble and give it up.

Currently at 24-10 with the Thunder, and we're the top team in the West and in the league right now. KD is averaging 23 points, but the big surprise has been Ibaka, he's really come into his own offensively this year thanks in large part to me.

My first four games with the Nets been against tough oppenents. Spurs(twice), Celtics, Knicks. We went 2-2. I had a Triple double in every games so far.
I have a easier schedule coming up Houston, Suns, Raptors(back to back), Warriors and Clippers. Every game so far have been close against elite teams.

Im not maxing Hustle. I will leave it at 93. I will boost Stamina to 90. Then I will boost Ball Security, Pass, and Hands to 90+. I will boost Layup to 93+. Then I will work on Free Throw, Shooting, Shoot Off Dribble.
