How do you do double teams and how do you call for help if you're struggling with your guy?

i hold down L1/LB until a person brings help defense...you can also tap L1/LB and hold down the icon of the player you want to bring help

Melo was traded to Knicks (reportedly). Oh well, I'm not even going to bother making anew player.

So I'm thinking my new My Player will be a SG. My main is a PG which I love playing as, but I thought I would try something different. Anyone else that has a SG can you tell me how you like playing it, please?

Thats how I feel. I am in the Knicks divisions(Nets). I am far in my season.

My current My Player is probably my last one I do. I might do a Center for a week after the Trade deadline. Once The Show comes out, NBA 2k11 will probably get the shelf.

so glad it's over...but i dont think the knicks are going to be much of anything...sort of like how iverson was paired up with carmelo and both of them were scorers who needed the ball in their hands most of the time...maybe im wrong because they do have chauncey billups to create opportunities rather than have amar'e or carmelo create their own shots

Just had my best game ever. I had another triple double. My first 20+ assist game. 25-23-17 and 2 steals. I had 6570 SP(Key Game). I had 5 straight Triple-Dubs ever since I came to the Nets. I love the Nets. I just got Player and Rookie of the month which just gave me a total of 11575 SP. Next game I will achieve 250 career Assists. I just got Floor General.
I got Durability to 90, so I can focus on other things. I got Layup to 93, I maxed Shoot in Traffic and Off Hand Dribble again, I boosted Ball Security to 75 from 60. I will max Security, Pass, Hands.
If I can get two consective Triple-doubles. I can get 3 milestones. 10 career Triple-doubles and 25 double-doubles in the same game. I can get alot of SP in the next two games, 4750 SP with Milestones and estimately 4000 SP if I do good and have Triple-doubles. I face the Toronto back-to-back. They have a terrible record. They are in my division, but are not a rival so neither of the 2 games will be key games

, tt wouldve been great, I coulda gotten a total over 10000+SP. I shoud be able to get Ball security to 85+ after the next 2 games. After I get Ball Security to like 90+, everything else is cheaper. Then I will boost Hands & Pass to 90+, Finally I could work on Shooting, I Turnover/shot blocked way too much because I have to pass when I am not near the basket.

well 2nd game w/ my new teammate nash on the knicks. performing better than my last 6 pt 0rb, 1 ast outting. put up 15, 2 rb, 6 asst.

still coming off the bench, gotta start playing better so i can get the start over nash

not sure but the charge calling is messed up in this game...

sometimes im flagged for a blocking foul even when my player has his foot set and other times i draw a blocking foul on the cpu when i do a layup even though their foot is set

when messing with sliders the closer you get to 100 makes it easier or harder. want to increase difficulty so which way i go.

why do i always have a person who can score on my team but doesn't score for crap when i'm in the game

I'm starting to think I ruin teams I am on in this mode. Does anyone feel that way?

I just finished season 1 with the Bucks (awful team, maybe) and just got rookie of the year award. I went thru the offseason, and I had a few teams interested in me, including the Bucks. The Jazz was the best team, which had everyone on their roster improving and was clearly superior to the Bucks. Surprisingly, the Jazz signed Salmons, which I wasn't really thrilled about. But anyway, I became a starter and played season 2 opener against Carmelo and the Nuggets last night. Just when I thought I was going to have a competitive game (Good team talent wise), my team was getting blown out yet again. I was the only player in double digit scoring midway thru the 3rd qtr. Team down by 20 midway thru the 4th qtr, but lost by 6 when it was over. I got 37pts, 8reb, 2ast 2to with an A+ teammate grade.

I'll wait to see how I fair with the other teams but I dont know. I do my part yet that seems like it's not even enough. I dont know how you guys do it but I ran set plays from beginning to end in that game since I have capable players, where I usually would cancel it when I was on the Bucks.

I have a theory on this. I'm still testing a few things atm though before I decide if it holds any weight.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one in this situation. And the Cavs? That's not surprising, because I was losing on regular basis to horrible teams, like the Wizards, Raptors, and Cavs. Blowouts too.

The playcalling is horrible. It's the same damn plays over and over and it'll be at random when u see some unusual play called (if you're not the floor general). I try to run set plays so that my teammates get their oppty to get theirs. I'll try to play some more games and see.
