i was wondering the same thing. i wanted to make my 6'6 pg be able to do run down blocks but my blocking maxed out at 50 and my vert maxed out at 95

you're an offense oriented PG so it caps at 50...while all-around, athletic or defensive PG will have block cap out at 60

I decided to start playing this game again today.
I started a new My Player (6'3 PG) and I'm loving it. 2k11 and Black Ops will be more than enough to keep me occupied until The Show arrives (then I will probably play all three )

I got drafted by the Pistons and I made the roster after Summer Circuit. I'm now hoping for a long and successful career.

just remember, if you get super frustrated with the pistons...just vent by not showing up to team practice

Hey guys.

I got drafted by Spurs as a SG and I'm averaging 25 ppg. My assists and rebounds are very poor.

We are doing 7-2 and are currently 6 in the West Conference. However, Tony Parker is a real let down man! He hardly passes the rock! I've been asked by the management to recommend some trades and have highlighted that we need a new point guard. The choices were R. Rondo, D. Rose, Chris Paul, John Wall and also Blake Griffin (just for fun).

My question is should I request a trade to a team which has a good PG, or should I wait to see if Spurs can pick up a new point guard(which seems unlikely)?

Also, which teams should I chose as my 3 picks, if I request a trade?

I dont really want to leave the Spurs, but I may be forced to due to Parker's horrible playmaking.

Tony Parker has been drafted to the Dallas Mavericks, with Spurs getting Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion.

I still aint a the starting PG but I'm getting more game time than Manu Ginobili. Why am I not being pegged up the rotation order?

We are now on 18-7. 2nd in the division and 4th in the conference.
I am averaging 31 ppg and 2 assists/per game.

Again should I request a trade?

I was having a lot of difficulty with my 5'7" PG but I have improved immensely.

It's quite a story...

Had a rough rookie season, drafted #29 by the Magic and was cut after the season. Had a choice of Bucks, Lakers or Hawks.

Chose the Bucks but was not happy with the play calling, so I requested a trade to the Clippers, who were thin at PG.

So I get traded along with Bogut to the Clippers. NICE!
They moved Baron Davis to SG and I was happy being a Clipper initially, when we had Griffin, Bogut and Kaman.

I was doing pick and rolls all season long, improving my play and learning not to force things. The team went from a losing record to a winning one. Everything was working out!

But then... the front office traded Kaman for Arenas and instead of playing at PG, I was more and more playing at SG/SF and even PF... at 5'7".

After Garnett posted up against me, I said "coach, you are an idiot, no wonder the Clippers suck", and demanded a trade!

So I was traded to the Mavericks and started over JKidd. He did not like that and requested a trade to the Lakers. So now I play 40 min a game at PG with Roddy Beaubois as my backup.

Kidd was traded for Odom, so I have Odom, Nowitzki, Terry, JRichardson, and AJamison as my teammates and Jamal Crawford and RBalkman in reserve.

What's also sweet... The Clippers went from a winning, back to a losing record with Arenas at the helm, LOL

We are tied with Boston for best record in the league...playoffs upcoming.

Statistically, as a 5'7" PG in my soph season, I improved from 9ppg to 25ppg (5th in the league), from 4.9 asst to 7.4 (10th in the league) and am the 63rd best overall rated player in the league.

Also improved my lousy shooting from .306 to .405 this season and .291 in 3pt to .380...much better but my goal is .450 and .400 at least. Next season I should get there.

I've been voted POTW two out of the last three weeks.

The main problem is turnovers. the game makes me turn over the ball 4.4 times a game. I'd say 50% is my fault. The rest are plays where my teammate will throw a pass to me that forces me out of bounds or a long pass to me that I fumble and the opposition always steals (weird because I have 90 hands and 92 ball security)...frustrating but I accept that its the way the game is. I will always lead the league in turnovers.

Yesterday, I literally was forced out of bounds by Balkman who pushed me out (by accident I hope), LOL.

Are you starting at SG? If not, Sounds like Ginobli is in your way. Look for a team that is thin at SG.
Especially with an older SG that is slowing down. They will groom you to take over and he will get pissed and request a trade (read my post).

I thought the patch was suppose to fix the crashes. I've been looking it up and all crash complaints are pre-patch. I've never saved during a game so I don't get why my game keeps crashing.

Im a SG naturally but sometimes I'm being played at PG with Ginobili at SG.
Other times I'm being played at SF with Ginobili at SG and Kidd or G.Hill at PG.

I'm hardly getting any minutes as a SG!

Teams interested in me are Golden State Warriors, Timberwolves and Pistons

What teams should I pick as my 3 choices?
I dont want to leave the Spurs but I may be forced to due to me being played in positions I dont want to.

When the regular season starts. There won't be any plays called during the pre-season (not for your team, at least).

That is great to hear. I wish we could sim games/seasons. I dont think I will make it to 3rd season after MLB 11 comes out.
I dont know why, but I dont. I play fearlessly and way too fast. Most of my TOs are usually stupid mistakes. I usually get 15+ assists a game easy. When I first did a PG, I only got less than 5 assists. But now I am more aware of the court.
But once I improve shooting my TOs will drop. I try to drive and kick and defenders come out of nowhere. I also get 3-5 shots blocked a game. So once I can shoot, I wont turnover so much.

the most recent game against the nets we actually almost lost....derrick favors wasnt as defensive oriented in that game but he had a monstrous double-double against us...it was like around 24 pts. and 14 rebs. while brook lopez had like a 14pts, 8 rebs, and 3 blks

when i start turning the ball over i switch how i run the offense...i usually start the game with icon lead passing because it's more fast pace and i dont really have to set up....but once my turnover reaches 3 i start to panic and play cautiously so i slow the game down with pick and rolls or i just pass to my teammates when im near them....

i hate turnovers that are of not your own faults too...i literally bumped into robin lopez(opponent) after a defensive rebound because he was slow in getting back on defense and all it took was that momentary bump that made me back away and step out of bounds....it's even worse when your teammates grabs a defensive board and literally hands it to you as you're stepping on the line....i've been more cautious of calling for long passes because of that bogus sideline turnover animation

as for turnovers, try switching up the pace...i usually start a game really fast with icon lead passing only to switch it back to pick and rolls to slow the game down when i get 2 turnovers in the game

Created a new 5'11" All-Around PG. Got drafted by the Wizards in the first round, last pick. Playing Summer Circuit now.
First game of the Summer Circuit I dished 12 assists. 8 of them was to McGee lol. I liked him alot, I think I'm gonna stay with this team for a while :o.

Forgot to tell that I took 3 charges in the Combine and one right now at game 2 in the Summer Circuit. BEAST! LOL.

I force passes too much, because I cant shoot. I mostly now use Icon pass, because if I dont my passes go to unintended defenders. I try to aim towards some teammates and the pass ends up going to somewhere else. My Pass is 93.
Just lost a crucial game because I had 10 TOs. It was for 6th place in East. We were tied with Pacers and we lost to them. We had a early 11pt lead. We had 20+TOs as a team. I hate when I accidently hopspin to the basket, I get charging/turnover fouls every time.
I am at 83 Hands. My next game I face Cavs and I will get the 50 game milestone. So I can get it to 90. Then I can finally work on Shooting.

Is there a way to get Teammates to cut to the basket. I hate when I call pick and rolls and the pick man just steps back and doesnt run to the bucket.

tap L1(LB)...select your player....flick the R3(right stick) in the direction you want your teammate to cut

this is what i use as an alternative to change the pace of the game....

it actually works faster than the pick and roll
