Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Love to the Knicks though? Head scratcher. I guess you could play both Love and Amare at the same time, the two alternating between PF and C, but together they're even more a defensive liability than apart.
I don't think there'd be enough ball to go around between the two honestly.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I started an association with the Knicks made some trades. I acquire Carmelo Anthony for Danilo Galinari, Eddy Curry, '11 1st round, '12 1st round and i got stephen curry but forgot how i got him. Also needed a big man to back up Amare, so i got Serge Ibaka. Current record is 4-0, my starting line up is
PG Stephen Curry
SG Wilson CHandler
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Amare Stoudemire
C Anthony RandolphChicago Bulls 1996
Dallas Mavericks 2011

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Started a 58 game association with the Suns (sim 1st season) and completely dropped a nuclear bomb on the team. I ended up with 4 1st round picks for a team that snuck into the playoffs by 1 game as the #8 seed.
Through trades/player options I was able to unload all of these contracts after the season.
Andre Miller
Vince Carter
Korver
Pietrus
Gortat
and maybe others I can't recall.
Anyway I headed into the lottery with thee picks if the "odds" worked out exactly.
#4, #6, #7, and I ended up with the 7th, 6th and 1st pick! Also had the #25 pick through another trade.
I only had 7 guys on the roster before the draft and most were cheap contracts so I had A HUGE AMOUNT of cap space.
1st - Harrison Barnes (to be my starting 2)
6th - Perry Jones (planned to start @ 4)
7th - Terrence Jones (start @ 3)
15th - (traded up) CJ Leslie (I like him as a sleeper)
So after the draft this was my projected starting 5.
PG - G. Dragic
SG - H. Barnes
SF - T. Jones
PF - P. Jones
C - H. Warrick
However I still had over 28M+ cap space, so I decided to make a run at Melo, didn't think I'd get him however.
3 days after I offer a 4 year max deal with a player option and No Trade clause, MELO SIGNS WITH PHOENIX!!!!
I also ended up signing J. Pargo and a NBA DLeaguer SG to round out the roster.
So heading into 2011-2012 this is the NEW look Suns.
PG - G. Dragic
SG - H. Barnes
SF - T. Jones
PF - C. Anthony
C - P. Jones
to go with this squad I've got Warrick, Leslie, Robin Lopez, Gani Lawai, Pargo, A. Tolliver, C. Jennings, the DLeaguer, and a low rated big.
I plan on running with this team until the concession workers in the arena are tired. With this youth movement in place I also still have the T'Wolves upcoming 1st round pick so I hope they tank.
Thoughts?Go Vols!
Go Titans!
Go Braves!
Go Thunder!

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
So far doing good with my Craptors, we're now 4-2. Lost to the Fakers 131-116, and beat the 0-7 Blazers 126-110. We have no defense, but we are like the Suns, fast break 24/7.
Chris Hunter is a beast, I think he's averaging 9 points per game.Comment

Season1 [as] Mavs (All-30 Teams) Association:
Finished season1 last night...Will have a season1 recap post coming soon. Fit with complete standings, included home/road records for all 30 teams, season 1 awards, and player stats from my user-controlled Mavericks team.
I'm happy that my Mavs won 60 games, and finished w/ the best record in the league....unlocking the "Home Court Advantage" achievement for 25pts.
In addition to my season1 recap post, I'm going to upload about 30 or more replays saved from various games played in season1 to my 2K webpage/blog.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment
