Looks great but how the hell did you manage to acquire 2 studs in Bogut and Wallace while only giving up Kaman?

    EDIT: nevermind

I do sim games but I try not to sim too many. I played about 30-40 games last season (not including my playoff series against the Heat).

I don't really have a pattern to my simming, I just play the games that I'm interested in. Like last season I made sure to play the Bulls because Rose was dominating the league. I also tried to play most of the games against the elite teams in the league or the ones that were being re-built by the CPU that looked interesting.

No, I'm only controlling the Cavs. The rest of the league is CPU controlled so they're doing their own signings and trades, although I would have liked to do a 30 team Association because I could keep it a little more realistic.

Nets receive - Corey Brewer & Anthony Tolliver
      Timberwolves - Travis Outlaw & 2nd Rounder

      or

Nets receive - Marcus Thornton & David Anderson
Hornets receive - Travis Outlaw & 2nd Rounder

Both the T-Wolves and the Hornets would receive upgrades to their backup SF spot.
Both deals look fine to me. I'd just go with whatever player you prefer out of Thornton and Brewer.

Yes. After the patch it seems like the CPU does a good job with their teams, so it keeps future seasons interesting. Pre-patch they were barely making any trades after the 2nd year, but that's fixed.

The only issue I've noticed is the one I just had going into my 2nd offseason, where about 20 coaches all switched teams. I guess it's some kind of strange glitch.

Aside form that, this is probably one of the best current franchise modes you can find out of all the 360/PS3 sports games. College Hoops 2K8 was #1 IMO, but this comes close.

I'm working on starting a Clippers Assoc. right now, quick question though - I'm looking at starting Bledsoe at PG and looking to trade Baron and possibly Aminu, who would be fair to get back?

Yeah, I go with 82 games and 12 minutes quarters. If I don't play a lot of the games then I don't really connect with my team. So at the start of the season I write down all the teams in my notebook. Then I go through the schedule and write in the date in which I plan on playing each team. Since I play the first 10 games that gives me a good starting point. Once I finish the first 10 games, I'll start knocking out most of the Eastern Conference teams since I play in the West. It usually works out to about 1 game a week. Sometimes you will get more and some weeks you may have already played all the teams so, you can just skip through. It still takes me about 2 months to make it through a season but, it's the only way I know how to do it and play a good amount of games.

My only hope is that one day NBA 2K adds a super-sim feature so that I can possibly have a say in all 82 games. Honestly, that's the feature that I want more than anything.

            10. (12) Suns - 33-23

            Notes
The Denver Nuggets had a terrible February by going 3-12. The dropped from 6th in the West with a record of 27-21 to 9th with a record of 31-31. A cold spell like that certainly doesn't bode well for the return of Carmelo Anthony next season.

            Suns Trades
2/17 - Phoenix trades Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu & Earl Clark to Orlando for Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus, Marcin Gortat and '11 1st Round Pick.

            Suns Starters
            Steve Nash - 23 PPG - 2.9 RPG - 8.5 APG - .5 SPG - 48% FG%
            Vince Carter - 21 PPG - 5.2 RPG - 3.8 APG, 1.2 SPG
            Grant Hill - 13 PPG - 6 RPG - 1 SPG - 50% FG%
            Josh Childress - 9.4 PPG - 5 RPG
            Robin Lopez - 7 PPG - 7 RPG - 1.2 BPG

            Key Bench Players
            Goran Dragic - 9.5 PPG - 3.5 APG
            Mickael Pietrus - 8.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 1 SG
            Channing Frye - 6 PPG- 5.2 RPG

            Team Trends
Phoenix is currently leading the NBA in scoring with 107.7 PPG. The Front Office is hoping for an increase with the addition of Vince Carter. Also, their Defense is allowing the second most PPG in the NBA at 104.6. Only the Golden State Warriors give up more at 106.4 PPG. That's one of the reason's The Brass in the Desert brought in Pietrus and Gortat. We're expecting that 104.6 to slowly go down the rest of the way.

            League Trades
2/9 - Mavs Trade Deshawn Stevenson & Steve Novak to Cavs for Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon
2/11 - Pacers trade James Posey & '12 1st Round Pick to T'Blazer's for Joel Przybilla
2/11 - Kings trade Francisco Garcia, '11 2nd Round Pick to Knicks for Eddy Curry
2/17 - Bobcats trade Boris Diaw and Kwame Brown to Mavs for Tyson Chandler
2/17- Washington trades Gilbert Arenas to Orlando for Rashard Lewis

            Big League Injuries
            J. Howard - Washington - Broken Jaw - Out 6-8 Weeks
            M. Binny - Atlanta - Plantar Fasciitis - Out 2-4 Weeks
Steve Nash - Phoenix - Lower Back Strain- Out 1-2 Weeks
Danny Grainger - Indiana - Strained Hamstring - Out 1-2 Weeks
Josh Smith - Atlanta - Broken Toe - Out 1-2 Weeks

            Team Injury Notes
With Nash out for the next 1-2 weeks Phoenix is in the market for a PG to sign to a 10 day contract to serve as a backup Dragic. I ended up signing 35 year old veteran Mike James to a 10 Day Contract. He'll spell Dragic for about 8-10 minutes a game until Nash returns. Then we'll go from there depending on how he preforms.

Im Going With The Normal Bulls Roster, Updating The League's Roster With Official NBA Transactions. (You Don't Have To Do A 30-Team Association; Just Select "Resign Position" and Make The Trade From The Team)

                Roster:
                PG: Rose, Watson, Lucas
                SG: Bogans, Brewer
                SF: Deng, Korver, Johnson
                PF: Boozer, Gibson, Thomas, Scalabrine
                C: Noah, Asik

Waiting for Bulls to pull the trigger on a SG deal before i make any moves, but if that doesn't happen i'll make a trade with bogans + DP's.
I see you've got your "Sim Quarter Length" as 12min and your quarter length is 7 min. Won't this mean that in the games you play, your stats will be very much different to the rest of the league?

No. Playing 12 minute quarters while also having sim quarter length at 12 means your games and the CPU simulated games are both being played at 12 minute quarters, which is what you want for realistic stats when it comes to played and simulated games.

Of course, the stats for played games is affected by rosters, sliders, etc. so you have to find the right fit for you so you can get as close to realistic stats as possible.

Sorry, I meant because he has 7 min quarters and his sim-quarter length at 12min. So surely because he's playing 20 min less (in total) than the sim-length his stats will be very different?

That's what you would think. It depends on what style of player you are. I'm an uptempo type of player. I diont spend much time on my possesions (some people try and use the whole 24).
I played under these settings before I restarted my association and within the first month D.Rose was leading in scoring, and 3rd in assists. Carlos Boozer and Noah were top 10 rebounders. And I averaged a little under 100 ppg

It said He is averaging 21 points and lots of rebounds and blocks, but he still wont show up on Leauge leaders, team stats, player stats and thing like that. any ideas?:P

He obviously hasn't played enough games to qualify, not sure how many exactly.

Simmed through the first part of the season in my Clippers franchise, at the beginning I traded away players like Baron Davis,Eric Bledsoe(don't really like him as a player in this game),Chris Kaman,1 other but can't remember got a lot of cap relief and a few 1st rounders. I got really lucky with the picks cause I traded with some teams that were mediocre/good teams but didn't end up like that, I had the #4,#7,#8 pick in the draft, although I think I prolly used a draft class with too high of ratings idk cause Irving was the highest with a 77.

                              My current line up:
                              PG:Kyrie Irving(Duke)/Randy Foye
                              SG: Eric Gordon/Rasual Butler
                              SF: Alminu/Terrence Jones(UK)
                              PF: Blake Griffin/Craig Smith
                              C: Enes Kanter/Deandre Jordan

My question is I have roles turned off, should I also turn off player chemistry/progressive fatigue or no?
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning
