I turned the trading on in the offseason, and the then CPU proceeded to trade PF David West from the Hornets to the Rockets for Kyle Lowry. Really CPU? You're going to trade the Hornets top PF to a team within the division, who already has Luis Scola and Patrick Patterson, to the Hornets who already have Chris Paul and Jarrett Jack? Really?

I had to go back and re-do the deal, putting West back on New Orleans and Lowry back on Houston; the Rockets are saying David West did not pass his physical.

The draft was a busy one with many teams trading up to acquire talent. Most notably were the Memphis Grizzlies moving the #9 pick and OJ Mayo to Minny for the #1 overall pick; Zach Randolph opted for free agency (landing in Sacremento), and the Grizz used the #1 selection to take the consensus #1 pick. The Grizz also signed vet Vince Carter to a one yr deal for the max MLE.

Perhaps the biggest move was a sign and trade involving the Bulls, Nuggets, and Pistons. Will post the details of that later on as they escape me atm, but it involves the Bulls getting Carmelo Anthony and Birdman.
Is 30-team control similar to MLB The Show where you can set certain things to CPU control and others to HUMAN? I like having the ability to edit depth charts for rosters and having trade override, but I would still like to see the CPU at least pitch trade ideas on their own and obvisouly, allow them to handle FA signings and drafting.

So it's either make trades for the teams as I see fit or let them trade amongst themselves then correct the trades that seem stupid? Guess I still have plenty of time to decide.

I control all 30 teams and just recently the teams have been putting players into the D-League without me doing it! Can someone help me?

For example, James Johnson was part of the Bulls rotation. The computer sent him to the D-League. I never did that! Nor was I notified!

Help please? I have Line-Up Management on User for all teams, so I don't know why this is happening.

Yea...there's assoc customization which allows you to turn on or off the responsibilities of the offseason tasks, and regular season tasks.

I don't know what the CPU does that. Noticed it too, and it became a problem when the CPU sent Daniel Orton for the Magic down and then Orlando was rought w/ injuries. Since they were over the hard cap I couldn't sign anyone to the minimum, and I wanted to sign a big for them and move Duhon or someone like that to the IR.

Yea...basically. Can't trust the CPU. Another dumb trade were the Pistons trading for Louis Amundson, after I had already made a trade w/ GSW in the reg. season that got Detroit Brandon Wright. Plus DET had Jonas Jerebeko and Austin Daye who could play the 4.

So the playoff races are heating up as we close in on the last 17 games or so for each team.

              Miami - 51-14 (x)
              Celtics - 41-22
              Magic - 41-26
              Pacers - 38-27
              Hawks - 40-26
              Bulls - 40-26
              Bucks - 37-27
              Knicks - 33-32

I really want to take that 4th spot in the East and have home court. I would like to not play the Bulls even though I've beaten them every time and still have another game against them. Its cool, its feeling intense.
              Team: Atlanta Hawks

              Celtics - 49-24
              Hawks - 48-27
              Bulls - 46-28
              Bucks - 44-30
              Magic - 44-31
              Pacers - 42-34
              Knicks - 39-36

Locked up a Playoff spot as I come down to my final 7 games. The real issue is that I do NOT want to the play the Magic in the first round. I am 1-3 against them this year and have a lot of trouble containing Richardson and Arenas. We did JUST beat them though. They are only a half game ahead of the Bucks, so I'm hoping the Bucks screw it up and fall behind the Magic.

Josh Smith is the 5th MVP Candidate right now, despite having been an All Star snub. He's stepped it up. Joe Johnson's 19 PPG still lead the team. Craig Brackins, emerging as one of the top reserves, it out for 4-6 weeks, so recently healthy Josh Powell will take his spot (which he gave up when he got hurt - its been a rotation of injured PFs). Leon Powe now hates me and will be gone after this season. Bibby is also unhappy with Lou Williams taking so much of his PT (they have a near 50/50 split) and might be traded in the offseason.

Next post will be the Playoffs unless something crazy happens.

Very good 2cnd season for my thunder team we won west conference and lost 4-3 to heat who have now won back to back titles with lebron back to back mvps in my 3rd season and with shaq retiring and being put in HOF i needed some reliable big men to replace him and made lots of trades to get good bench guys that can play 20 mins a game and give my big 3 of durant, stuckey and westbrook good cover

                      My squad for 3rd season

                      PG: Westbrook/ W Bynum
                      SG:Stuckey/J-Rich/R Mason
                      Sf: Durant/R Jefforson/J Wright
                      Pf: Green/Ibaka
                      C: Aldrich/Curry/Bonner

This season im gonna just schedule pratices for my team and my aim is to get the bigs rebounding and improving in the post and for the rest of the guys to improve outside shooting so that i have an inside-outside threat and sim all games im not intrested in playing atm and gonna really try to perfect my team as from the contracts im only gonna have 2 or 3 guys leaving and that includes aldrich and and my backups at pg and sf so im gonna try and keep them happy with more minutes once ive earned my playoff place it also gives the starters a rest and gets them ready for playoffs

I don't know how comfortable you are with your lack of interior scoring, but your guards can all score, even in the two deep, so your perimeter attack is pretty scary. Some age on that bench though with R-Jeff and J-Rich.

I just started my Clipps chise. Lost my first game to GSW(Playing a 29 game year). Blake and EJ played great but no one else did. After the game I dealt Kaman to the Bobcats for Gerald Wallace. Going to play game 2 maybe in a few mins.

                              PG: J. Calderon/K. Walker/K. Dooling
SG: O.J. Mayo/G. Temple (saw some defensive potential in him)
                              SF: W. Chandler/C. Singleton
                              PF: T. Murphy/E. Davis/L. Kleiza
                              C: A. Bargnani/J. Pryzbilla

We've started the season 0-3, we are horrible from downtown, which I thought was going to be our bread and butter. Bargnani, who I thought was going to have a monster season, is really struggling. It could be because he has an injured finger, but I still think he is struggling bad at every concept of his game. The season is really upserring right now, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Should I trade bagnani for a more stronger inside man? or just ride the slump out?
I'd ride it out and try to get a good backup who can play some big minutes (Gortat has been good for me and deandre jordan is also good young choice). J.P. wont carry a defensive and rebounding load

ok thanks. And my suggestion to you would be trade melo for both gay and mayo, that way you can fufil the trede need and the playmaking SG position.
