The Thunder kept saying everyday that they wouldn't trade Durant for anything, but out of the nowhere they decided to accept David Lee, Biedrins, and 1st round draft pick. I think their starting center went out for the season. Lebron took a lot of work including some 3 team trading but I got him for Monta Ellis (went to the Lakers) and Demarcus Cousins (who I got for absolutely nothing). I don't remember how I got Brooke Lopez, but it wasn't much. I have pretty much changed the entire landscape of the NBA with my trades.

Oh, it's pretty bad. I mean really bad. I can't afford to lose any starters. After this year Milicic and Korver will be gone because of their 5 mil per year contracts.

      Kyle Korver
      John Lawson (rookie)
      Georgio Niniadis (rookie)
Darko Milicic (had to take him in the Love trade)
Fabricio Oberto (I have no idea how ended up with him probably trade. Good rebounder, but worthless on the offensive side)
      Tyrone Wagner (rookie)
      Mickael Pietrus (free agency)
Craig Smith (injured for all of the year)

Just started with the Lakers and managed to pull off a trade with Denver for Carmelo Anthony, Al Harrington, and Arron Afflalo. Had to send Bynum, Odom, Shannon, and Artest. I also signed Rafer Alston which is giving me this...

        Rafer Alston
        Kobe Bryant
        Carmelo Anthony
        Al Harrington
        Pau Gasol

        Pretty unstoppable offensively imo.

            T-Wolves
I just finished my first season with the T-wolves and ended up with the 4th pick in the draft and picked Perry Jones. Also in the off season i signed Michael Redd to a year deal for him to come off the bench figured i could use a 3pt shooter as i don't like ridnour's shot too much. I also traded darko and nikola pekovic to the griz for thabeet. mostly so i could just get rid of darko and maybe develop thabeet. I am going with a small line-up for this season as my rotation looks like this
            Last years stats
            J. Flynn(79) pg 36 min 19.3 ppg 6.6 apg 3.4 topg
            W. Johnson(77) sg 36min 12.3 ppg 5.9 rpg 1.5 spg
            M. Beasley(82) sf 36 min 18.8 ppg 6.9 rpg
            P. Jones(77) pf 36 min 4th overall
            K. Love(82) c 36 min 16.9ppg 9.4 rbg

            M. Webster 70 sf 6th man 22 min
            M. Redd 71 16 min
            L. Ridnour 9 min
            A. Toliver 8 min
            H. Thabeet 5 min

My goal for this team is to break .500 as i was 34-48 last year. I think I'll be able to do it I'm number 22 in the power rankings to start the year. Maybe i can jump the Nuggets for third in the division behind the jazz and thunder since they traded away melo. Interestingly Steve Nash was traded to the cavs and Melo ended up on the Knicks for Wilson Chandler and Danilo.

Good stuff. I like how you're keeping things realistic with how you're managing your team.

There are some nice young pieces on Minny, so hopefully they can improve enough to become a playoff team for you.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

started an association with the kings for many reasons, evans is a YOUNG STAR, thompson and cousins are rebounding fanatics who both have high potential that gets better year to year, and best of all they have about 13mil in cap space to start off and i wanted chris paul in yr 3... first year no trades at all i went 41-41 and missed the playoffs (dallas beat boston in 7 for the 'chip).. offseason i waived landry, green, dalembert, wright, taylor and head (which left me with $30mil to spend... signed troy murphy, AK47, and chris hunter(c).. drafted kemba walker (and traded his bum *** for a 1st rounder mid-season).. yr2 i didnt expect to dominate but i went 46-36 but got bounced in the first round..off-season2..resigned thompson 78ovr now to a 5yr deal, re-upped evans, cousins, casspi, and whitesides rookie options.. traded garcia an a 1st rounder to charlotte for henderson, drafted a 69ovr SF.. then when NO ONe offered him a deal i signed CP3 for 5yrs, also signed PG pat mills 68ovr... yr3 starting 5: Paul 95ovr, evans 91ovr, casspi 68ovr, thompson 79ovr, cousins 79ovr, bench is:murphy 67ovr, AK47 70ovr, henderson 71ovr, reeves(rookie sf) 69ovr, udrih 63ovr, whiteside 61ovr, and a d-leaguer.. doesnt look like much except a young, in its prime, all-pro backcourt, two young athletic rebounding bigs, and a bunch of spare parts that just complement the top four.. 5 games in im 4-1 and this team is the most fun ive ever had playing with

In my Bulls association. Just played the All-Star game and lost to the West by 9. Representing the Bulls were Rose and Stephen Jackson. I should have had Boozer and Gay but they were both snubbed! The freaking Wizards had 3 all stars in Wall, Lewis, Blache. I am first place in the East with a 12-5 record. Boston is right behind me @ 13-6. The Heat are 9-11 and a half game out of the east seed!

Rose and Boozer are the only 2 guys I have kept from the oringal team. I love how my team looks now. Here are all the moves I made:

                          1) Noah / Dang / 11 2nd rounder / 12 1st rounder to Memphis for Gay / Mayo

                          2) Ronner Brewer / 11 1st / 12 2nd to Cleveland for Gibson / 11 1st

                          3) OJ Mayo / C.J Watson to Denver for JR smith / Gary Forbes / 11 1st

                          4) 11 1st / Kyle Korver to Houston for Brad Miller / 11 2nd

                          5) Kurt Thomas / 11 1st to Dallas for JJ Barea / 11 2nd

                          6) JR Smith / Scalabrine to Charlotte for SJax / Kwame Brown / 11 2nd

So here is my lineup after all of the trades which I love.

                          Rose / Barea
                          Jackson / Gibson
                          Gay / Forbes
                          Boozer / Gibson
                          Miller / Brown

I traded all my 1st rounders I acquired and am left with 3 2nd rounders from the Rockets, Mavericks and Bobcats.

I have 13 games left in my season and if the season ended today I'd play Charlotte in the 1st round. Amazingly I am 5-4 @ home and 7-1 on the road. I have a 3 game lead in my division which I am 4-0. I have only 5 home games left out of the 13 and I pretty hard schedule down the stretch. I still have to play Miami, OKC, @ Bos, and Orlando. Should be a fun playoff run and here's hoping to keep the 1st seed in the East!

Why dont you try to trade beasley and filler for evan turner.

I saw computer do the beasley and wellington for evan turner and meeks.

I tried it and it seems to work as well. Instead of having wesley run at your 2 when hes a 3 to begin with.

                            Youd have a

                            pg - flynn
                            sg - evan turner
                            sf - wesley johnson
pf - p jones or love
                            c - love or thabeet

If you were going to develop thabeet, Develop him through weight training until his contract runs out. Because if you do potential first and when his contract runs out hes going to demand 10+ mill compared to 4mill per 1 year.

Cause he's clearly trying to keep things realistic and build around his existing pieces. Not just make a bunch of trades to try and patch things up quick.
