Nice. I got all the picks like they did in real life as well. My team's only rated 78, but that's because I just did the Melo trade and a trade for Corey Brewer and signed free agents. And the rookie I drafted was Jared Sullinger who's rated a 64 in the draft class I downloaded (everyone's overall was low).

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Blah scratch that. I can't play Wizards..just miss my warriors too much. Made a new association with them.
Curry/Sessions
Ellis/R. Williams
Batum/Carney
Aldridge/Udoh
Varejao/Udoh
Not sure about Curry and Ellis yet. I might trade Monta for a catch and shoot SG.Comment

Corey Brewer was a guy I was trying to trade for...Since I had Melo as my scorer I was looking for a perimeter defender and he had an A- PER D rating. Instead I wound up trading for Raja Bell (same PER D) in season 1.
Arron Afflalo wound up fitting the mold for me in the offseason, Bell's took a hit in progression.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Ok, so I came up with a nice idea to do a 29-game fantasy franchise. Decided to do serpentine, and took the Mavs with the 9th pick.
My starting 5:
PG Derrick Rose/Derek Fisher
SG Leondro Barbosa
SF David Lee
PF Ron Artest/Luis Skola
C Randy Turiaf
I actually just lost my first game however, at home to the Kings. I'm rated an 83 overall, they were rated 81. We lost 108-91. The Kings had Amare and Jrue Holliday, which was enough to absolutely murder me. Jrue Holliday is fast as hell, he kept blowing right by Derrick Rose.
Rose finished with 11 points and 13 assists, so he did decently. Ron Artest went 17-7 and David Lee went 20-5. I'm hoping for some more rebounds from them.
Hopefully I can make the playoffs and have some fun with this team.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Season1 [as] Mavs (All-30 Teams) Association:
So again....to recap my current Mavs playoff matchup: Dallas is once again looking down the barrell of a round 1 exit, and having finished w/ the best record in the league, to only be sitting in an elimination game in round 1, I find oddly realistic...but very disappointing.
Dallas got their ish together and put together wins in game 6 and 7 of the first round vs Utah.
Scores:
Gm1: Utah 99 - Dallas 107
Gm2: Utah 105 - Dallas 100
Gm3: Dallas 99 - Utah 86
Gm4: Dallas 105 - Utah 109
Gm5: Utah 110 - Dallas 100
Gm6: Dallas 123 - Utah 94
Gm7: Utah 90 - Dallas 95
Qtr Finals Matchups:
WEST
#1 Dallas vs #5 OKC
#2 Lakers vs #3 Spurs
EAST
#1 Chigcao vs #5 Atlanta
#3 Orlando vs #7 Charlotte
In the West, Denver lost 4 games to 1 to the Thunder, not suprising, and the only West matchup that saw the lower seed move on.
In the East however, the Bobcats upset the Heat after falling into an 0-3 hole. The Bobcats battled back, and it looks like Gerald Wallace must have given Lebron some trouble because in games 6 and 7 Lebron was held to 12 and 17 pts respectively.
Another upset was the #3 Celtics losing to the #4 Hawks. Atlanta won games 3 and 4 & 6 and 7 to clinch the series. Should make for an interesting ECF...
Playoff Leaders:
PPG: Kobe 43.0, Durant 35.8, Dirk 30.1
RPG: D12 12.0, Duncan 11.5, G.Wallace 11.1
APG: Deron 11.6, Kidd 11.1, Rondo 10.1Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Nice team right there, but I don't think you have enough big men to backup the startersChicago Bulls 1996

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Last night my Wizards lost to Chicago 97-96 due to a buzzer beater 3 pointer from Derrick Rose. I was piiissssssssssssssssed. The crowd went wild, and I went home with my tail tucked between my legs.
What a frustrating game. I was doing so well too. My record is now 4-3.
Some stats:
John Wall: 21PPG, 15APG, 1 Steal
Rashard Lewis 29PPG, 6-9 from beyond the arc, 7 RPG
Roy Hibbert 14PPG, 12RPG, 4 Blocks
Derrick Rose owned me like a little school girl, and Noah vs Hibbert was a good matchup. Was a fun game, just a frustrating one.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Which one did you use? I used the Mario's one (Ps3). Didn't really do any research into which class was best so I just chose what I saw. But it came out realistic IMO.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
The offseason, for free agents I get a few teams that would *realistically* offer the player contracts and then lets the player choose. For example, I would have the Nuggets (maybe), Nets, and Knicks all give Carmelo a contract and then let the CPU decide where he plays.Purdue Boilermakers
Washington Redskins
Washington Wizards
Washington Capitals
Washington Nationals
