    [14-3 TOR year 1/All-Star/82gm/10min]
Tough game vs WAS but beat em out 101-94, outrebounded by over 10! After the game i made a trade to bolster the front court.

    TOR trades
    Calderon>>>DET
    J.Dorsey, MIL '11 1st>>>LAL
    TOR '12 1st>>>DET

    LAL trades
    Odom>>>TOR
    Walton>>>DET

    DET trades
    Prince>>>LAL
    W.Bynum>>>TOR

I was only able to make this trade b/c Odom has been grumbling on the bench and Prince was unhappy with DET, and Calderon was my back-up to Bayless which he hasn't liked one bit so he had to go.

    PG Bayless | W.Bynum
    SG Barbosa | Weems
    SF Derozan | Donte Greene | Peja | Kleiza | J.Wright
    PF Odom | A.Randolph | Amir Johnson
C Bargnani | D.Anderson [trading him upon his recovery,i hate this guy]
    Lakers | Michigan | Dodgers

yes hes purely defense, dont expect him to score much,. Hes a rebound block type of center.

If you develop him for 2 - 3 years with what ive told u he becomes really good at defense.

Then just work him in other areas u please, But work after 3years put him through weight training after each season. He gets bigger and more stronger.

Game 1 against between my #2 Hawks and #7 Pacers foretold the series' future. The Pacers started off hot, Roy Hibbert inexplicably running the floor very well for some fast break buckets. However, the duo of Joe Johnson and Josh Smith held Danny Granger to 12 points on 4-27 shooting (0-12 from three point territory). Al Horford began his assault on the Pacers, with 23 and 12 along with 4 blocks, and Joe Johnson adding 25 and 8 boards and 3 blocks. The Hawks dominated the 3rd quarter 33-11, controlling the game for the rest of the time on the way to a comfortable 90-66 victory.

The next few games would be similar, although the Hawks made some key adjustments to ensure victory. Offensively, Horford and the slashing guards attack Hibbert in a effort to get him in foul trouble, and started doubling off the PF on him. Hibbert would continue to score effectively in the midrange game, but Granger was limited by the tall defenders contesting his shots. Horford and Joe Johnson led the way, along with game four domination from Josh Smith, to control the entire series, the smallest margin of victory being just 19. The teams often played a close first half before the Hawks emerged in the 3rd quarter and exerted dominance. On the series, Horford average 21.3 PPG, 11.5 RPG, and 2.5 BPG. Johnson added 19.5 PPG and Smith and Crawford both over 16 PPG. Also notable was the Hawks free throw shooting, where the Hawks got to the line and converted often.

Elsewhere, the West went to seed while the East had a few surprises in store...

        #1 Lakers over #8 Warriors (4-1)
        #4 Mavericks over #5 Spurs (4-1)
        #3 Thunder over #6 Rockets (4-3)
        #2 Nuggets over #7 Jazz (4-1)

        #1 Heat over #8 Knicks (4-1)
        #5 Magic over #4 Bulls (4-3)
        #6 Bucks over #3 Celtics (4-2)
        #2 Hawks over #7 Pacers (4-0)

Next up, the Milwaukee Bucks, fresh off their upset of the Celtics. Corey Maggette's 19.8 PPG and Brandon Jennings's 18.0 lead the way for the Bucks, though both are turning the ball over. Andrew Bogut and John Salmons are holding down the defensive end, with 2.0 BPG and 2.3 SPG respectively.

The Hawks will look to tighten up on the Bucks perimeter scorers and force them to win on the inside. However, they are a good foul shooting team, so keeping them off the line will be important. Conversely, we will try to continue to get to the line and punish opponents there.
        Team: Atlanta Hawks
        Year: 1
Playoff Performance: Def. Pacers (4-0), Def. Bucks (4-0)

The Atlanta Hawks are without a loss this playoffs, and will now come up the #1 Miami Heat, the only other team with a sweep to their name (over the rival Magic). With the #1 and #2 seed teams in the East battling it out, the league's top team vs. the league's hottest team, it should be interesting.

To get here, the Hawks comfortably cleaned up on the #6 Milwaukee Bucks, a surprise second rounder. Using a similar strategy to their attack on the Pacers, they made a killing at the charity stripe. Defensively, they doubled off the weaker offensive players, such as Mbah Moute and Brian Skinner. Jennings shot low percentages the entire series and the loss of Michael Redd to a sprained ankle in Game 2 stretched the already struggling perimeter corps even thinner. Horford, Smith, and Joe Johnson remained constants on the boards and in the lanes, drawing fouls and finishing well. Johnson also anchored the 3 point shooting game. Worth noting were the returns of Craig Brackins and Josh Powell, giving the team additional depth and athleticism at the 4 spot.

The regular season series with the Heat was a slugfest, with both teams getting some blowouts. The Hawks have had trouble with LeBron since trading away Marvin Williams, so look for the same approach to LeBron as Granger - Smith will generally try to be on LeBron at any time, Johnson on when he can't. This will limit Johnson's offensive effectiveness, but he will also see time at the 2. Look for less Louis Williams and Mike Bibby and more Brackins and Powell.

Miami's Big 3 have been nigh unstoppable this playoffs, with James, Wade, and Bosh averaging 31.3, 23.9, and 22.4 respectively. Containing the reigning MVP will be important, but keeping the other two from going off will be a mountain of a challenge.

On a player's note, I'm a little annoyed that I've cruised so much. My regular season was not this easy, and I expected the AI to ramp it up during the Playoffs and give me a tougher battle. Granted, I've only played the #7 Pacers and #6 Bucks, but definitely disappointed. I just changed to mkharsh's Shot Stick sliders, and am hoping for a tougher challenge (though I don't like the FTs being entirely out of my control...) Something tells me the Heat will be happy to oblige.

I'm only about 10 games into my Blazers season since starting new (Putting Caron, Yao, Brandon Roy on the IR. Just making everything up-to-date)

Anyways, depending on my record I might trade Camby at the deadline. Which is looking like I'm going to have to because I'm not having a very start to the season. But I do want to trade him to a contender (LA, MIA, ORL, etc) Just curious to see who you guys think would be a nice addition. I would be looking for a center in return but it doesn't have to be. Just wanted some other opinions.

          Thanks guys.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I just started one with the Pistons and I'm 5-6. I didn't really like the team I started off with so I did a 3 way trade with the Wizards and Hornets. I trade Rip and Tayshaun to the Wizards, Greg Monroe and 1st to the Hornets. I got back David West and Rashard Lewis. Also, I traded Maxiell and Bynum for expirings so I have about 17 million in cap space for next year. So right now my lineup is

            Stuckey/McGrady
            McGrady/Gordon
            Lewis/Daye
            West/Charlie V.
            Wallace/Wilcox

It's a really fun lineup with a ton of 3 point shooters. I'm not really digging Stuckey though and I'm going to look around for better prospect at the PG spot.

If I were you I would try to find an upgrade at SF position over Batum. He's really only good at 3's and you need a guy who can take it to the hop at the 3.

Except for Miller and Camby my starters are set in stone. And Batum can do more than shoot threes lol. He's good at taking it off the dribble to the rim or pulling up for a jumper. Plus I don't need someone to dominate the ball for an iso all the time. When B-Roy comes back I'll have him. So idk what your talking about there.

Thinking about it I'm going to need to package up Miller and Camby and just get ready for the future.

The way I do my Association is I downloaded The Real 2K Insider aka Rashidi's rosters(the most realistic rosters around) I use MKarsh slider sets, but I use Versuzz from Youtube Attributes and fouls tho. 82 game season, Real FT FG%, I use shot stick timing, because I find it a little difficult to play without the jumpshot feedback this year(idk why is that, when the past few years I was doing fine without lol). But you have to play sim tho, call plays, spread the ball, dont abuse exploits etc.

Pick a team, a bad team preferably cause it's more fun to build them up, and get good. Make realistic trades. Also resign your position to go to other teams, and manage their rotations cause the CPU **** those up alot then switch back to your original team when you wanna play your games. Try playing till the AllStar game but 12 mintue quarters that could be to much, so play till like mid January then simulate to the Playoffs.

Another close game but this one was a shootout. Kyrie Irving nails a game winning 3 pointer to defeat the HEAT 121-118. I build up a 20 point lead going into halftime but James and Wade got the HEAT back in it. Daniel Gibson poured in 29 points off the bench hitting 9 3 pointers. Irving finished with 23 points and 12 assist. Currently sitting at 2-0. Next game is against the Sixers

If you wanna have fun with a really realistic association, then you could do what was said before, but what I do is have, a realistic association and a unrealistic association, which is more centered around fun. So, in one I'll do what the previous replier said, but for the fun one I do 29 games, 5 minute quarters, and a fantasy draft.

I am positive the Raptors are cursed. Im simulating all the regular season games and I'm about to begin the 2020 season. Couldn't find draft classes after 2015, so they're all generated after that. I had a great 2016 team that somehow finished 31-51. The starting five had was Marquis Teague 89 OVR, Derozan 83 OVR, Honeycutt 82 OVR, Barg 85 OVR, and Kanter 90 OVR, so when that season happened I became suspicious of a curse. Then, after dropping teams w/ overalls of 87's or better for the next 3 years and not making the playoffs, I'm positive. 2020 will be my last year trying to win a championship for the raptors. Right now, my starting five is Deuce Bello 89 OVR, Demar Derozan 84 OVR, Tyler Honeycutt 83 OVR, Lowell Wagner 79 OVR, and Enes Kanter 92 OVR. This is also probably the last year I hold on to barg, the last remaining original 2010 raptor besides derozan. He's just been regressing too much to keep in the starting lineup. Some interesting sidenotes are that stoudemire makes the hall of fame and the bobcats are going for the three-peat, having won champioships with oddly, a double headed point guard animal in brandon jennings and kyrie irving.
