I forgot to mention - during the game with Orlando he hurt his knee on a dunk so he was playing with a limp, which probably caused the poor shooting night. After a few days rest, he's fine now.

I'm excited to get going with this young squad and John Wall is an f'n animal

Yea I love playing with Wall. I just finished my first season and he won rookie of the year by a landslide. He was also an all-star. Here's hoping that Melo doesn't re-sign with Denver.

restarting my hawks chise. first order of business is to get marvin williams the hell out of here. i traded him and some guy i found at the bottom of my roster for dahntay jones, so now, my lineup looks like this.

        PG Jeff Teague
        SG Dahntay Jones
        SF Joe Johnson
        PF Josh Smith
        C Al Horford
        6th man Jamal Crawford
        Bench:
        Zaza Pachulia
        Mike Bibby
        Maurice Evans
        Powell
        Jo. Crawford

First game against the grizzlies, i lost 100-95, making some stupid turnovers late. Johnson scored 17, grabbed 6 boards, teague had 10 assists and 12 points, horford had 2(i dont really use centers), jones had 15 w/ 5 assists, j crawf had 22, and josh smith had a surprising 31, w/ 5 blocks and 8 rebounds. The pick and roll w/ him is a beast. During one, he pulled off a between the legs dunk, something i didnt think happend in real games. thoughts? suggestions?

Well Carmelo re-signed with Denver . Fortunately I picked up some decent players in the draft. With the number 1 overall pick I took SF Harrison Barnes. He is only a 66 overall but has A+ potential and his stroke is sweet and easy. Seventh overall I took PF Perry Jones, he is also A+ potential, but is only a 59. Hopefully he pans out. Also had the 19th and 20th picks which I used on PF Marcus Morris and PG Kalin Lucas. They are both 62 overalls with C+ potential.

In free agency my only signing was Kendrick Perkins to a 3 year/$28.71 million deal. I made a run at Vince Carter for a one year deal, but he chose to re-sign with Orlando without allowing me to up my offer.

          Current Lineup:

          Starters-
          John Wall, PG 88 Ovr
          Nick Young, SG 70 Ovr
          Harrison Barnes, SF 66 Ovr
          Andray Blatche, PF 75 Ovr
          Kendrick Perkins, C 76 Ovr

          Bench-
          Thabo Sefolosha, SG/SF 65 Ovr
          Javale McGee, C 70 Ovr
          Trevor Booker, PF 68 Ovr
          Kalin Lucas, PG 62 Ovr
          Lazar Hayward, SF 64 Ovr
          Perry Jones, PF/SF 59 Ovr
          Marcus Morris, PF/SF 62 Ovr

crazy, crazy moment in my grizzlies franchise. full 82 game season and i manage to clinch 7th in west, go in to playoffs against spurs. at memphis, game 4, spurs leading 2-1. one minute to go, im down by 4 points and OJ (who has been my best player all year) plays the passing lanes and finds himself with a clear run to the basket, nobody around. goes up for the easy dunk and...MISSES IT. could not believe my eyes, literally no defenders within 5 metres of him. spurs grab ball, go down other end and score quickly and im down 6 points with 40 seconds left. would have given me chance to tie series at 2-2 but now im done 3-1 and heading to san antonio to try and keep my season alive. still cannot believe he missed a wide open dunk, i guess there is always next year haha

Those two (Barnes and Jones) were both in the low 80's in the draft class i downloaded which i think is too high but i think yours is a bit low. I guess as long as they play decently the ratings are irrelevant (until you need to trade them i guess).

Yea the class is a little underrated, but I prefer that to overrated. The only two A ovr players in the class were Rubio (F- pot) and and Kyrie Irving (B+ pot) and they were low 70s. I passed on them because I have Wall and needed at SF. I am going to restart after this patch whether we need to or not and hopefully find a better draft class. I think at least one or two players needs to be a high 70 or maybe even low 80.

I dropped 26 with Barnes in his debut and he was marked by Lebron, so he is a 66 that is easy to play with.

I am working on a theory of an I man rotation. To do this I need 3 combo guards, and three solid pf/c hybrids. I figured washington with wall would be a good start. Year entering year 3 we've improved but not there yet.

                  Wall
                  Drafted player kind of sucks
Nick young splitting time with decent project drafted player
                  Top pick
                  3rd overall pick

I added ebanks and spreights in the offseason so my forward rotating 3 is set.

                  Ebanks is my project

Now if I can land a solid pg

0-3 with the Wizards at the moment. My first game against the Grizzlies I shot man handled 55-42 (5 minute quarters). My second game Lost in the final seconds to the Cavs 61-56. And my most recent game I lost on a buzzer beater, ugh! 50-49 to the Nets.

I think I got a good team, just I gotta hold on in those final 2 minutes of the game. That, and I think I just have been having some bad luck.

Crazy game against the magic. It's the 4 th quarter, and the magic have been up most of the game, with me having no answer to vince carter, but then teague and smith start pick and rollin', and the magic have no answer. during one pick and roll, teague passes it to smith who goes between the legs as he goes up for the dunk. never seen that before in a video game. so, w/ 20 seconds left, the score is ORL-91 ATL-90, and i try one last pick and roll. (i would have given this shot to johnson, but he was injured). It starts off ok, but then while smith is driving, howard fouls him like crazy. So, josh smith goes to the line w/ 2 seconds left and needs to sink 2 free throws for the win. First one swishes, and then on the second, it rims around a bit before going in. Hawks win!
Smith ended up w/ 23 pts, 18 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 4 assists, crawford adds 17, and i cant remember the rest. After this game, I traded Al Horford for Noah and Brewer. Yea, this is a bad trade in real life, but i dont use my centers except for rebounding and setting picks, and i needed some more bench power behind crawford. So, Atlanta sits at 4-4, w/ a game against the bucks comin up. i owned nba live last year, so im blown away by the amount of depth in association. havin a ton of fun.

bad trade for who? Noah is a beast in 2k11, gobbles up rebounds like a 6'11 Rodman.

I've never found Horford that effective when I've used him.

I re-started my association with the new patch out, figured you would have to re-start to make the changes go into effect.

                            Actually no you did not.

The Heat have lost 2 in a row. On the road at NY and then a shocker losing at home to Detroit (post patch sliders need to be redone). I could not hit the side of a barn vs the Pistons and ended up shooting 37% for the game. Awful. Lebron was in foul trouble all game, Wade could not buy a basket, Bosh was a train wreck, just a bad game.

So the Heat sit a 1/2 game out of the number 1 seed in the East at 29-17. The Hawks are atop the conference, the Heat is tied with The Celtics and Magic as all 3 teams have the same winning percentage. Very tight race. Mike Miller is now back from his third injury (sore knee) and maybe he can stay in the rotation for a month. He has been unable to play more than 4 consecutive games thus far through 44 games. Amazing.

Up 1-0 in the Eastern Conference Semis as the Magic against the Celtics. Hit a last second shot to force OT with Stephen Jackson, on his way to 42 points. Jameer Nelson and Jeff Green are out 1-2 weeks and both start. Without them my lineup is:

                              Chris Duhon
                              Stephen Jackson
                              Michael Pietrus
                              Rashard Lewis
                              Dwight Howard

At least with that lineup, aside from Lewis, it is all A- or above on Defense.

Currently 2-0 with the Lakers playing on Pro/Sim and I have had 2 blowout games and am headed to a 3rd. The only thing I changed was lower the gamespeed to 46. Wondering if I should go ahead and bump it up to All Star level or could I just be on a little roll??? I have beaten the Rockets, Suns and leading the Warriors by 12 in the middle of the 2nd qtr?

Also would I have to restart my Assc. if I go up to All Star from Pro?? Thanks in advance
