Not a bad team so far, may look to get a better back-up Center.

Although this is his THIRD significant injury in his rookie year, I appreciate the realism in that it's always been an ankle injury. Devin Harris torched Brandon Jennings, averaging 12 pts and 10 assts per game.

2nd Round we actually swept the Celtics. Joe Johnson sprained his ankle, but played through it and consistently got Ray Allen in foul trouble. That made it much easier.

Now we draw the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals. Joe Johnson is healed, CJ Leslie should be back and we'll hopefully get to the NBA finals for the first time since the Bob Petit days.

I also have a guaranteed top 4 pick in the draft thanks to a trade with the lowly Toronto Raptors.
The Atlanta Hawks made it to the NBA Finals and did not win and I am in shock. In my 20+ years of playing sports games (Madden, NCAA Football NBA Live, etc) , I don't recall ever making it to the championship game and not beating the CPU. Usually by that point I've figured out the computer and the advantage of being a human is enough to beat the CPU. Well, not in NBA 2K11.

I beat the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals in 5 games and it's not even worth discussing. The OKC Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies in 7 games and I entered the Finals feeling very confident...too confident. The Thunder had homecourt advantage, but I didn't figure that was too important. Little did I know that at some point during the season, they acquired Chauncey Billups, Andre Miller and Rudy Fernandez. Harden and Green are good and that the risk of sounding like a teenage girl: Oh. My. God. Kevin Durant is like freakin ridiculous!! Durant in the Finals is the closest thing to a "boss level" in a sports games I've ever seen. He was like Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson.

I got D R U B B E D in the first 2 games in OKC. Durant hit for 35+ in each and I lost by 10 pts in each game. I couldn't stop him. Play him tight, he blows by a defender. Play him auto, he shoots threes over the top of the defender. Play "Deny Ball" he runs off screens and ends up open. Double team and he kicks to an open Harden, Billups, Green or Fernandez for an open three.

It was unreal, but yet so real.

Long story short, we ended up in a Game 7 battle. Al Horford strained his hamstring, Anthony Morrow twisted his ankle and Durant hit for 39 pts, 9 rebs, 6 assists and was something like 5 for 9 from 3 pt range. Oh yeah, and the Thunder were perfect from the line. Anyway, we lost 105-99 after getting outscored 32-18 in the 3rd quarter and i'm heartbroken.

Watching the confetti fall and fat *** David Stern hand the trophy to the Thunder hurt. I didn't even watch the White House video. Now i have to figure out how to improve my team in the offseason.

I'm personally 14-0 with the Thunder. At the All-Star break. Thinking of trading for an SG upgrade (not that I need it) but Harden is injured so can't trade him. Green is slightly displeased so was willing to trade him and Harden.

          Here's the overall standings:

          Again
          Bulls = Classic Bulls
Raptors = Current Bulls with DRoz and Barbosa

Bargs was signed to the Thunder as a FA and traded to ATL for Josh Smith.
          Melo is on the Knicks.

I sent Battier to some team for some guy named Przbla. It was basically a give away, but Battier's trade value is soooo low I just wanted to eradicate my team of that cancer.

I am 4-7 and my season is looking bleak. I get good production from Yao and Kevin Martin, but trash from Scola, Brooks, and Terrence Williams who is my 3 now.

I am also slim @ prospects. My top prospects are some guy named Jason Thompson I got in the Lowry trade, Patrick Patterson and Terrence Williams.

My goal the rest of the season is to work on my defense (I score in the 100s regularly, but give up 110+). And cut down on turnovers. I am also going to see which of the young guys will be Rocket material in 2011. It's a rebuilding year.

It was a tough start I went 0 - 2 and then i started to figure out the lineup. I moved Brewer to starting SG and I went 2 - 2. Then Rose got injured. Out for 2 to 4 weeks. I started watson and went decent..i lost the next game. So my record was 2 - 3. Then Watson and Noah both got injured. Watson out for 6 weeks and Noah for 1 - 2 weeks.

I needed Pg's so I picked up Beverly and Sun Gaines from free agency...Now im 3 - 5 and just lost first game to Rockets in the Texas triangle and im in a tight game with the spurs.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
I do not want to trade but if i have to i will.

I dont really play well with Taj or Bogans so they are my bigges trade bait.
Korver could also be traded if needed.

                  Lineup now:

                  Sun Gaines/ Beverly
                  Brewer/ Bogans
                  Deng/ Korver
                  Boozer/ Taj/ Johnson
                  Osik/ Thomas
Ok well since this....NOAH and OSIK both got injured... so now i had to make a trade...i traded scalabrine and beverly for Etan Thomas and Jason Collins...the hawks surprisingly waived beverly and i got him back ASAP...Then i moved bogans back to starter cause i needed brewer to be my sixth man that can score. Then i waived Collins.

                  new line up

                  Gaines - Bev
                  Bogans - Brewer
                  Deng - Korver
                  Boozer - Gibson - Johnson
                  Thomas - Thomas

my record is 3 - 11 about to be 4 -11 after i finish this game against the kings. ITs been a real rough start. Rose comes back in a one week along with Noah so hopefully i can make a push. When watson comes back im thinking about making this trade.

                  Bulls get:
                  O.J Mayo
                  Outlaw

                  Grizzlies get:
                  Korver
                  Farmar

                  Nets get:
                  Thabeet
                  Watson

                  Possible new lineup:

                  Rose - Gaines
                  Mayo - Brewer - Bogans
                  Deng - Outlaw
                  Boozer - Gibson - Johnson
                  Noah - Thomas - E. Thomas - Osik

Mayo might even play back PG..i could mess with lineup a lot.

Any opinions on my association or soon to be trade? thanks guys

Don't like the trade, really helps u only, thabeet has as much value as u and I, lopez is there to start. you're getting a younger starter, and a good bench player.

nets relieve cap space by letting outlaw go...and get watson who is just as good as farmar. and thabeet is a lot better bench player than petro.

grizzlies get a back up point and a shooter. if you havent read mayo is real life is not even needed on that team anymore.

So I started a association with the suns. Started out 2-0 but in the second game nash got hurt with a lower back injury on a hard foul. so I lose nash for 1-2 weeks and he is unable to play so with warrick out from the first game and nash out I had to play the lakers in my third game. Spread the ball around but still was barely hanging close with them. Going into the 4th the score was 89-83. with out nash we could seem to find a consistent game going on offence and the lead was up to 13 half way thru the 4th. Then all of a sudden dragic did his best steve nash impression and started hitting step back 3's and finding mostly vince carter open for the assist. Ended up winning 127-119 with dragic scoring 20 of his 27 points in the 4th quarter and he also had 17 assists. I have the spurs coming up next so I'm hoping he can step up like that again with nash still out. O and vince carter is averaging 30.6 ppg 5+ rebounds and 4+ assists per game.

So far he has slightly outperformed Patrick Patterson. The trouble with Thompson is when I dealt for him he was labelled a starter, and well Scola is my starting 4. His moral is a little low, but not terrible.

I really need him to be tall, hit a couple jumpers and get some boards, and he's been ehh fine.

I just finished my first season with the Boston Celtics. We went 60-22 and got the second seed in the East, 3 games behind the Miami Heat.

I played almost all of the games up until the All-Star break. Then I simmed the second half of the season.

Rondo played great, he averaged 13.8 ppg and had 8.9 apg.

We play Milwaukee in the first round and will most likely get Atlanta in the second round.

grizzlies get a back up point and a shooter. if you havent read mayo is real life is not even needed on that team anymore.
They have the rookie Henry to play. I already know Mayo is not going to be their much longer. Thabeet is not good he is just as bad as petro.
