Nice starting 5 you got there...who's ur 6th man tho? IMO, I'd make David West as my 6th man to provide the scoring off the bench. You got plenty of scoring with Jackson, Wallace, and Arenas already.

That's my biggest concern right now my bench is pretty horrible. I have Diaw as the 6th, then Henderson (67) and Derrick Brown (68) as role players...

I want to wait a bit and see what i can do to improve before i take Orlando in the first game, if i can't close some nice deal i'll take your advice...

Ya, having a scorer off the bench is HUGE! Playing @ Miami right now and Kevin Love got 2 fouls early, so Beasley comes in and got 7pts 3 boards off the bench for me. Guess he's trying to show Miami what they lost when they traded him lol. Only down 28-23 after one quarter haha

I'm making a go of trying to rebuild the Wizards, centered around John Wall.

I've made 3 minor moves so far:

1. Kirk Hinrich & 2012 1st to Sacramento for Antoine Wright
2. Al Thornton & 2011 2nd to Memphis for Greivis Vasquez & Hamed Haddadi
3. Yi & Trevor Booker to NJ for Kris Humphries, NJ 2011 & 2012 2nds

Motives for the moves were to create more cap space, so I can attempt to sign some FAs (Marc Gasol or Horford, hopefully, but guys like Tayshaun Prince and Thad Young will be nice) and also to clear out more minutes for my younger guys. I was probably wrong to give up on Booker, but I prefer Seraphin as a prospect due to his size, and I need to develop him.

Current rotation:

PG: Wall (38) / Vazquez (10)
SG: Arenas (38) / NYoung (10)
SF: Howard (36) / NYoung (12)
PF: Blatche (36) / Seraphin (12)
C: McGee (35) / Armstrong (13)

I've started 4-0, which is good, but I've only played Memphis, Cleveland, New Jersey and Toronto, and I've got Philly up next. Apart from Toronto, all games were within 3 points.

Anyone else playing as the Wizards got as far as FA to see what they can attract? I'm struggling defensively right now, my bigs seem to offer no interior D at all

Update on game @ Miami... What a game it's been! I'm up 110-107 with 7sec to go, Lebron misses a 3 to tie, offensive rebound Wade, kicks out to Mike Miller for a long 3, and he drains it with 0.9sec to go! I didn't even get a shot off to end the 4th Overtime here we come, wow! Didn't expect to hang in there with Miami on the road. Beasley and Love have 27 and 25pts.

Webster was the right cal to put in starting lineup with 16pts, I don't think I'd be in this situation trying to shoot with Brewer, who has 9 off the bench. Update in a few after OT


EDIT: Got down by 6 in OT, and came storming back in late seconds! Was down 121-118, Wade at the FT line, and misses the 2nd FT!! I take it down court, dish off to Webster at the top of the key for a 3 to tie it with 3.8sec remaining in OT!

Inbound to Lebron at the top, throws an absolute DIME to Wade for a dunk with now only 1.3sec remaining I throw in in to Flynn, and I miss an 18 foot jumper to tie. Miami holds on to win 123-121 in thrilling fashion in OT.

I drop to 1-3, as the Heat improve to 3-2 to start the season.

Honest question... Why does every seemingly blow up the team they are going to run with? Why not take the challenge of using the team u got, and build thru the draft and free agency? If you trade, then don't trade someone that's on ur starting 5, or even a major contributor off the bench. Just takes away from the challenge imo.

I know its a video game and its "fantasy world" but you might as well just do a fantasy draft to start the season then. Again, I'm not trying to bash those that do it, I'm just curious as to why do all that when u can just have a fantasy draft? Cuz essentially ur creating a starting 5 that usually looks nowhere similar to what it is IRL.

That's what I'm talkin about..I'm the Timberwolves, and not signing any FAs or trading anyone. Honestly I don't even know who I'd trade since the team is so young and full of potential if I keep them intact, so not sure why anyone would possibly want to destroy the T-wolves roster anyway.

How's ur Cavs chise going? I'm now 1-3, just lost in OT to Miami on the road(see above post). About to play @ Orlando now..well, I play out 4gms and then sim 7 straight(33gms total played), hoping team pulls out at least 4 out the 7 lol..doubtful tho as its:

@Orl, vs Atl, @Hou, @Lal, @Sac, vs NYK, @Atl..I should see at least 2 of the 5 for wins, 3 would be good

Well I went 1-6 lol, so I'm sitting at 2-9 on the season now. Next 4gms are @Cha, vs Lac, vs Lal, and @Okc :/

Well, in my association im rolling with the knicks. My record is 17-8, 4th in the conference. I play in Superstar sim but im going to bump up to HOF. I've been thinking about trading eddy curry, wilson chandler and 1st round pick for carmelo anthony. im thinking about doing it right before the deadline to get my team rolling for a playoff run.

The Cavaliers push their record to 3-0 after a close win against the Kings. Turnovers killed us and almost blew our 10 point lead in the fourth quarter. Anthony Parker had 21 points while Mo Williams had 14 points 11 assist and 10 TURNOVERS Antwan Jamison had 17 points and Sessions had 10 coming off the bench. Jamorio Moon had a better game this game but now I am stuck with a problem. Should I move Parker to SF,Mo to SG and Sessions to PG or what? I can't have 10 turnover from my point guard,

Well having started 4-0 against easy teams, I fell to blowout losses to the 76ers and Hawks in quick succession, John Wall having a couple of turnover prone games, and my lack of shooters hurt especially with Blatche struggling to get the ball down low. I took the Bulls a bit closer, but still the AI seems to intercept even the safest looking passes! Starting to annoy me now!

Team averages after 7 games:

PG - John Wall - 20.8 points (45% / 0% / 47%), 13.2 assists, 2.6 steals, 4.2 turnovers.
SG - Gilbert Arenas - 22.8 points (48% / 33% / 80%), 5.8 assists, 3.2 steals, 2.8 turnovers
SF - Josh Howard - 13.8 points (54% / 50% / 80%), 4 rebounds, 2.6 steals, 0.6 turnovers
PF - Andray Blatche - 20.8 points (61% / 14% / 66%), 9.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, 2 turnovers
C - JaVale McGee - 12.8 points (54% / 50%), 10.8 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 turnovers

Decent stats all round, just really need to work on my FT shooting (I am using real FT%), cutting down turnovers, and actually stopping the AI shooting 60% every game.

I hear ya on the turnovers, this game is about stupid with the amount of deflections and interceptions by the AI. I even turned the Hands, and play passing lane sliders to ZERO for the cou, and I still manage to throw at least 5 or 6 interceptions per game!

I'd stick with what's winning games for now and see if u can just get better at ur passing tho...Mo at SG would create mismatches on defense imo, and Parker to SF would as well.
