Don't know what to do here need some oppinions

In my Wiz association I drafted Jonas V. with the 5th pick. He is a good back up for Mcgee.

Should I trade him for Vesely to make it more accurate?

I would do that, but if you don't care too much about accuracy, Jonas V is a solid pick. I like Vesley more.

After an hour or so of editing so teams would get their picks (for the most part..), I'm now ready to start the 2011-2012 season with the Nets.

In free agency, I was able to snag Nene (albeit in a sign-and-trade where I gave them Marcus Thornton, a backup in Outlaw, Petro as a filler, and a 1st rounder) and then sign AK47 for cheap, while retaining Kris Humphries. The Nets now have a very solid trio of big men moving forward to please Deron Williams (hopefully).

My opening game was against the Knicks, which is great for the rivalry in the works. Carmelo Anthony went off for 41 points, but Amar'e fouled out in the 4th.

That being said, I was able to pull off a 7 point win at the Garden thanks to a double-double by Deron Williams and a 23 point game by Brook Lopez (still a horrible rebounder though.. with 3 haha)

Marshon Brooks and Nene both made solid debuts and I'm liking what they bring to the team which looks like this:

Started a new Association with the Magic. I simulated the first year, as I was simulating I got offered Monta Ellis for J.Rich...........No brainer, I accepted it.
Start of my 2nd year my lineup looks like this..

So I simmed up to trade deadline. I checked Kevin Love's morale dude is the happiest guy on planet smh, I really wanted to trade him away. His morale said something like how he loves the fans, the organization and he wants to work on a contract extension ASAP. I felt that it would be unrealistic if I traded him away, so I only got rid of Beasley who had his mind set on cashing on alot of fetti this summer.

I tried doing the Iggy deal, but Lou Williams being injured ruined it, 2K needs to allow us to trade injured players because it happens in real life. So I decided to go after Rudy Gay in Memphis.

So the trade was:

First i will explain how i got them into the 30 team league.

I removed the Charlotte Bobcats and replaced them with the New Orleans Hornets(so there now in the east). I replaced the New Orleans Hornets with the Okc Thunder and I replaced the Thunder with the Seattle Sonics.

I thought it would be fun to bring back the Seattle Sonics so I replaced everybody on the Bobcats with everybody on the Sonics and started a Fantasy Draft.

The reason i did a fantasy draft because i wanted every team to be pretty much balanced. No superteams and im tired of every year there are 10-12 BAD teams in the nba that you know are going to be horses**t that year(ex: twolves,raptors,cleveland,nets,clippers,kings)Just to name a few.

But this is the very balanced team i drafted(Rounds 1-13):

When i drafted the team i looked at defense( Per-D for PG,SG,SF and Post-D for PF,C) and age/potential. My whole starting 5 has an A in those defensive catagories except Calderon who has a B. and everybody on my 2nd team has at least a B defensively in those categorys.

I am currently 5-1 and will update more stats/progress later.

I have had this game since it came out basically but haven't done Association mode; I've only done My Player and online games with friends. But now I want to get into Association but I don't have a favorite team. I have never really followed the NBA until this year and there isn't a team anywhere close to where I live because I live in Missouri. So they don't show any games on Fox Sports or whatever here. The point is that I need a suggestion for what team to use in my Association. And possibly for a team to follow in real life. Not the Lakers, Heat, Knicks, Celtics. I don't want to be a bandwagoner and I want somewhat of a challenge. I was thinking about the Kings since they used to be in KC? I don't know.

Also, what quarter length does everybody use? 12 seems way too long but I want realistic stats.

Yeah the Kings seem to be a great team. But any bottom feeder teams would be a challenge to rebuild. Kings, Cavs, Wolves, Bobcats, Bucks, Wizards, Nets, Raptors are all good picks.

Yeah 12 minutes are the ideal for realistic stats. Also 12 minute isn't long anymore, you get used to it. You will be breezing through games in no time. You could also play 10 minutes to.

Do you have good slider sets? Sliders add to the experience and makes it better.

Yeah, the Kings could be a challenge. Still very young and have a couple holes. I use 10 minutes which is fine for me. Have fun lol

OK U damn stupid sim lol.... what the hell is up with so many free throws. ugh thats the only reason i lost to the magic in hoopscast. that hoopscast more time then not.. has alot of free throw attempts, I just played Orlando, And howard has been killing the glass with 17 rebounds per game on simulated games. he only had 12 on us. My team shot 52.7 % to there 48.5% and we still lost by 12. Because the Magic went 46-59 at the free throw line, YESSS 59 attempts, Dang refs.. I thought my team shot alot at the line going 28-41. Howard had 21 pts 12 rebs, 2 of my starters had foul trouble Roy and McCormick both ended with less then 30 minutes of playing time. Gerald Wallace went off scoring 33 points, with 8 rebounds and he show 12-15 from the field.. we are now 2-2. taking on the Bobcats next, this will be a coach first half sim second half.
