Stars you may need to give a bit more... but I play with player roles on and I have even managed to keep 3rd string pg sebastian telfair happy lol I often get the reward bonus for finishing season with greater than 70% chemistry and players all over 70 in morale

granted I have a tendency of winning more than I lose... that would play a role in keeping players happy too. But I personally find player roles one of the great challenges in the game
I control rotations for all 30 so this isn't an issue

I just saw it as a pain when I used them, I may give them a try again soon but I'm happy with my year 3 Grizzlies game so far

Finished the season 37-45 missing the playoffs. Monta Ellis was named to the 1st team all nba while Andrew Bynum made the 2nd team. Dorell Wright won the Most Improved Player award. Headed into the Draft Lottery slated to have the 11th pick but jumped all the way into the top 3 and landed the 3rd pick. Hoping i can get a pg so i can mone Ellis make to the 2 guard.

Just finished the draft. I traded the 3rd pick, Charlie Bell, and Andris Biedrins to the bobcats for the 2nd pick and Gerald Henderson. I held the 3rd picks, 29th pick, and the 41st pick:

Round 1 Pick 2- Kyrie Irving

Round 1 Pick 29- JaJuan Johnson

          Round 2 Pick 41- E'Twaun Moore

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

For the past few days i've been running my Detroit Pistons franchise....i'm now in the 2016 season and i'm in the NBA finals against the Portland Trail Blazers.....My first season Miami decided to break up their big 3 and offered me Chris Bosh for Ben Gordon, Rip Hamilton and a 1st round draft pick and I accepted it....I was basically trying to unload Rip's, Villanueva's and Gordon's huge contracts to make room to get some players for my style of play.

Since the first season, Bosh has pretty much been the centerpiece of the franchise and I signed Kevin Love a few seasons ago in free agency and turned Rodney Stuckey into a superstar.....the big 3 of Bosh, Love, and Stuckey didn't work out as I kept seeing 1st and 2nd round upsets from lower seeded teams in the playoffs....the turnaround for me started at the end of the 2014 season.....I hired Avery Johnson to coach my team and I went out and signed Kevin Durant, Tony Parker, and Carlos Boozer and picked up Brandon Roy via trade since Portland was trying to unload his contract...

Fast forward to this season and we finished with the best record in the NBA and we have the league's 5th stingiest defense....I told myself if the Pistons were going to return to Eastern Conference supremacy I had to get the team back to its defensive roots that won them the title back in 2004.

I'm playing game 5 right now in the finals against the Blazers with the series tied 2-2

We've come up short so many years hopefully this is the year we finally pull through and give the city of Detroit its first title since 2004

On another note, is anyone else's franchise going out of its way to hand LBJ MVPs? He's won every MVP since I started playing my franchise LOL smh

Since Durant has been on my Pistons squad he's deserved it 2 years in a row especially getting the Pistons to the finals the this year as well as last year while the Heat have only won 1 title and that was in my first year of the franchise

Timberwolves Trade: Anthony Randolph, Wayne Ellington

Reason: Don't really like Green or Davis, Randolph is good backup PF/C and Ellington can help with the scoring load off the bench. Timberwolves get a good swingman in Davis, and a 6th man in Green.

Celtics Trade: Avery Bradley, Troy Murphy
Mavericks Trade: Tyson Chandler, Peja Stojakovic, 11 first rounder

Reason: This was probably the most unrealistic of all 3. Avery Bradley was wasted in my system, and I never played Murphy. I get a Starting center and a three point marksman, along with a first rounder. They get a good point guard for when Kidd retires, and Murphy who can step in and make shots.

                  Celtics Trade: Shaquille O'Neal
Cavs Trade: Joey Graham, 11 first

Reason: The Mavs trade left me with 4 centers, so i decided to trade Shaq. I get a backup SF which i lost when i traded Green, along with a sure-lottery pick. They get Shaq back to provide a veteran presence.

                  New Lineup (Minutes)

                  Rondo (35), West (9)
                  Ray Allen (32), Ellington (16)
                  Pierce (33), Graham (10)
                  Garnett (32), Randolph (26)
                  Chandler (31), J. O'Neal (16)

Picks: 11 first - Celtics, Mavericks, Cavaliers
                  11 second, 12 first, 12 second - Celtics

What do y'all think? Were these (for the most part) realistic? How's my lineup?
I'd say all of those trades are reasonable. Unlike a lot of trades you hear about up here. I really like Anthony Randolph off of the bench for KG.

Is everybody else up here automatic with Randolph from 15-20 feet? His mid range game is great and honestly I can't miss with him regardless who is on him.

If the cavs still had hopes of a championship then that trade wouldn't have been terrible, but the cavs knew all last season they're in a a total rebuild. So they really wouldn't give up a 1st rounder for an old vet when they know they need to rebuild through the draft, but if they were still a team with a chance to win it all I don't think that's a terrible trade.

I traded Kyle korver and 2 first round draft picks for oj mayo, backing up gay, mayo knew he wouldn't start there. Chicago gave that to him and at the same time he gives them that legit second scoring option.

my first season with the CAVS went horrible as i expected i just went into rebuilding mode which worked out alot.I traded numerous players back and forth
just to get DeMar DeRozan & Sonny Weems..all in all I ended up with 3 first round picks!!! and i ended up Drafting (Kawhi Leonard, Josh Selby, Jimmy Butler)

                          Game 1- vs Boston

The first game has finally arrived and the new look Cavs tried to recover after losing Lebron. They would not have an easy start as Boston came to town. The new identity thing I have been talking about, lets just say 27 three pointers defines a solid outside shooting team.

                          27 threes!

Steve Blake proved to be the perfect point to run this team. Is he fast, dynamic, or explosive? No. He is however deadly accurate from deep and a descent passer too. Steve Blake shot 7-14, all from three point land, and dished out 20 dimes! He was able to work the ball around the perimeter and dish it to guys who were open. The whole team can shoot!

                          Steve Blake: 21 points, 7-14 3pt FG, 20 assts, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 TO
                          Anthony Parker: 16 points, 4-7 3pt FG, 6 reb, 4 assists, 2 steals, 0 TO
                          N. Batum:, 32 points, 8-15 3pt FG, 4 reb, 7 assists, 3 blocks, 2 TOs
                          A. Jamison:, 22 points, 2-10 3pt FG(clutch ones tho), 6 reb
                          Daniel Gibson:, 12 points, 4-8 3pt FG, 4assists, 1 TO
                          Mike Dunleavy:, 8 points, 2-4 3pt FG

All together the team shot 48% from the floor and 44% from deep. We tied the Celtics in turnovers, while edging them in points off the bench. They edged us in points in the paint and out rebounded us. All in all, it was a solid team, and this win was definitely a statement

                          Result: vs Boston, W 113-103
                          Cavs 1-0, Celtics 1-1
The way to build a good team is not to load it with star players, but to load it with players who play well together with an identity

On my 3rd year with the Memphis grizzlies, a fun team that I rebuilt, and I could use some help with a trade. I am 17-1(playing all games) in a 82 game season with my only loss coming to the lakers.

So far I traded Sam Young for a 3 point shooter in Antione Wright but so far he hasn't worked out very well at all. I have Finley on a 10-day contract and I might re sign if my team can't shoot better from 3.

                            .298% as a team

The rookies have been great, Xavier Henry's shot has been tough to adjust to but I got it, and Greivis Vasquez is on his way to ROY averaging 11.1 ppg and 4.5 apg at 6th man.

Tony Allen doesnt work well enough with the offense scheme that im trying to run so I really want to get him dealt but so far there aren't any good deals for him.

                            Depth Chart:
PG- Mike Conley Jr, Greivis Vasquez
SG- OJ Mayo, Xavier Henry, Tony Allen
SF- Rudy Gay, Antione Wright, Michael Finley
PF- Zach Randolph, Hamed Haddadi,Darrell Arthur
                            C- Marc Gasol, Hasheem Thabeet

I got this trade from the heat that I'm tempted to accept.

                            Trade:
                            Mike Miller for Hasheem Thabeet

When I first started Thabeet was terrible in the low post on offense but was an absolute beast on D. Since then his offense has improved but what im more impressed with is his rebounding. Without a doubt we have the best front court in the league feat. three 7' players and Z-BO. I really want keep my size to match up well with the Lakers in the playoffs but I also need the shooting.

                            Should I accept?
Time...line? Time isn't made out of lines... it is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round.

                              Depth Chart:
PG- Mike Conley Jr, Greivis Vasquez
SG- OJ Mayo, Xavier Henry, Tony Allen
SF- Rudy Gay, Antione Wright, Michael Finley
PF- Zach Randolph, Hamed Haddadi,Darrell Arthur
                              C- Marc Gasol, Hasheem Thabeet

I got this trade from the heat that I'm tempted to accept.

                              Trade:
                              Mike Miller for Hasheem Thabeet

When I first started Thabeet was terrible in the low post on offense but was an absolute beast on D. Since then his offense has improved but what im more impressed with is his rebounding. Without a doubt we have the best front court in the league feat. three 7' players and Z-BO. I really want keep my size to match up well with the Lakers in the playoffs but I also need the shooting.

                              Should I accept?
Not a chance. If you have worked with developing Thabeet then I would definitely keep him. You will miss his size. And with Conely, Gay, Mayo, and Ze-Bo you have shooters. Miller would just be competing for minutes.
The way to build a good team is not to load it with star players, but to load it with players who play well together with an identity

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Lately I've been running with the Raptors, I'm in Year 3 (2012/2013). I created myself as a scoring PG with maxed potential so right now I'm rated 87.

                                The only real trades I made so far have been;

                                POR Sends;
                                Greg Oden

                                TOR Sends;
                                Amir johnson
2011 1st Rd pick (ended up being #3 and the took Irving)

Last year we had a down season, landed the #3 again and took Harrison Barnes I also grabbed Fabricio Melo with the 24th. Over the past two seasons I have given this team a big face lift, and a bright future.

Just took down Chicago to start the season 1-0, I'm loving this line-up right now.

                                K. Caldwell (my created player)/ J. Calderon
                                D. DeRozan/ J.J Redick
                                H. Barnes/ E. Clark/L. Kleiza
                                A. Bargnani/E. Davis
                                G. Oden/F. Melo

Here's to hoping Bargnani can become the next Nowitzki
