      1-2 in my Clippers Association.

Just got embarrased(sp?) by the Mavs 101-69.

T-Mac continues to impress 14 points 8 rebounds and 10 and assists. Aminu and Griffin are beast too and Kaman can rebound like crazy. I need Gordon back, offense has been struggling now I get to face the Spurs.

Allen Iverson has been doing great in my association he's averaging 20 and 9 a game through 5 games 2-3.

The nuggets signed AI in mine too and now are shopping him around the league

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I always sign ai the trade him right away its a first for him everytime.

I'm using golden state now looking for a fastbreak team and I signed ai, traded him made some other trades ended up with 4 firsts, and 3 of my favorite players, javelle mcgee, nick young, and blatche. I traded monta ellis during the draft and grabbed barnes, vesley, and knight. I figured to run I need horses and having 2 stud pgs would be awesome.

That blew up in my face. Knight demanded to start right away and in a month as 6th man demanded a trade. Trade either curry or knight, I traded curry and a first for perry jones and sent blatche to the bench

                My team

                Pg-b. Knight, white chocolate
Sg- harrison barnes, nick young, charlie bell
Sf jan vesley, someone already on the roster who I like
Pf- perry jones, blatche, player on the roster
                C- mcgee, elson

With this team, which I like a lot, I play every 4th game

                Thus far we are 5-5

I expect to be in the lottery again even thought my team is solid I am thinking pg, but after the knight debacle I'm a bit gunshy

We just beat a decent orlando team by 7 I took my starters out up 11 with 2 minutes left because it was back to back.

                I like where we're going, young athetletic and tall. My starters are 6-3 6-8 6-11 6-11 7-0

Though we still have trouble on the boards

                  Currently 2-3 with the Heat.

Barely edged out Boston, lost by 8 to Philly, got BLOWN out by Orlando, blew out the Nets by 20, and just lost to Minnesota due to way too many 4th quarter turnovers.

I'm playing on Sim/All-Star, with clutch turned off.

The game is a lot of fun, and as like on the game, I think the real life Miami Heat are going to have some struggles this season.

Coming up I have Boston again and home, and the dreaded Magic in Orlando. Its going to be a rough month.

                    2-2 with the Clippers

                    Just beat the Spurs 89-80

Griffin had 21 and 18 rebounds. He's averging 19.5 and 15 rebounds a game through the first 2!

T-Mac had 20 more, Kaman had 18 and 13 rebounds.

I'm having a lot of fun with the Clippers

I have a Pistons franchise im running now.

I played cheap to get a player I like a centerpiece and traded Stuckey, Monroe and a 1st to get Steph Curry and Brandon Wright. I shopped alot of the bad contracts and avg role players around to get young talent so my roster looks like this

Curry/Dragic/Bledsoe(he was a pain to get)
                      Hamilton/Gordon
                      Prince/Jerebko/E.Clark/D.Carroll
                      Villanueva/B.Wright
                      Wallace/Thabeet

at the moment im 18 games in and im 9-9 I did just beat the Heat though after I got LeBron in horrible foul trouble all game and he eventually fouled out and only played 12 minutes. Curry went off for 31. Im keeping the team competetive but they going through horrible dry spells cause they are mainly a jump shooting team with no post threat.

Its been a fun team as I can mold them and I grabbed players that fit my "system"

Check out this [b]INSANE[/b} game i had in my association yesterday with the Wiz vs the 6-1 Miami Heat.

1st qrt: Both teams come out hot, i hit 5 3's in the qrt to keep it close and LeBron is dunking all over me and Mike Miller is nailing open jumpers. I'm up 31-29 after one.

2nd qrt: Defense tightens up, shots start missing and scoring drops. Bosh starts warming up and I'm only just keeping in touch. A slight run at the end of the qrt from me and a 3 on the buzzer leave us all tied up at 48 at the half.

3rd qrt: LeBron goes OFF. I literally can do nothing to stop him. Thunderous dunks in the lane, mid range J's and when I bring help he hits the open man for open shots. Heat dominate the qrt 35-20 and i'm down by 15 with a score of 83-68 going into the last qrt and I thinking the game is over.

4th qrt the Heat start the qrt with all of the big 3 on the bench. I jump out to a 7-0 run, they call timeout but leave the subs in. I go on another 7-0 run (14-0 at this point) they call time again and bring back in the stars. Somehow i managed to hold them scoreless for ages and ended up going on a massive 26-2 run!!! The Heat close the gap late but i am able to hold on for a nice 103-99 win and out scored the Heat 35-16 in the final qrt to get my best win so far in 2k11. I played on all star / sim and 11 minute qrts.

Truly an amazing game and I've never seen anything close to the size of the runs i saw in this game. The variety i am seeing has me going to the 2k11 devs.

Decided to start a game with Boston and I'm loving it so far. I'm a huge fan of a team with solid defence, as I struggle to score sometimes unless it's open threes which Boston's playbook seems to sort out well with Pierce and Allen.

Well the first year I won the NBA Title, a 4-3 win over the Utah Jazz( I knocked out Miami and Atlanta who both had better records than me, LeBron was injured for two of the games I played Miami ). The key additions were Steven Jackson and Joakim Noah. I gave up pretty much all draft picks and a lot of the bench. Ray Allen became my sixth man and lit it up from the role.

Second year I was going to start rebuilding the team around Rondo and Noah but the players still had one more year in them to go all the way. Ended up beating the Lakers 4-1 in the NBA Final. The key additions were Igoudala and Young from the 76ers, the trade was with Pierce and other pieces. I also added Ilyasova who is an absolute monster hitting 3's, just can't be blocked when paired with a small SF.

                          Currently into my third year now, traded out Garnett, Jackson and two '14 1st round draft picks for Brandon Roy and minor players. The Blazers traded away and lost players so they are in re-building process so the two 1st picks will help. Ben Wallace retired, Michael Redd hit free agency so my team for the third year is now;

                          PG - Rondo/Diot(Rookie)
                          SG - Roy/Wafer
                          SF - Igoudala/Joseph(Rookie)
PF - Young/Johnson/Thompson(The latter two rookies)
                          C - Noah/Davidson/Riek(Rookies)

A third championship should be ours with Rondo improving and Roy getting a lot of open shots.

After this season if I win it I think I'm either going to do a fantasy draft and build on defence or either go as Miami Heat or rebuild a team like Toronto Raptors.

Damn it. Just as I posted that I simmed pre-season and my regular season has now been ruined. Brandon Roy has torn his MCL, so will miss the whole season. I don't think this could get any better, I've managed to sign Ilyasova from free agency to play in the SF role and move Igoudala to the SG position.

Going to be an uphill struggle now, Roy was the key man to take this team all the way. I'll sim the season up to the trade deadline then play a few games and then play the play-offs. I usually do this with a team that can win games without me. Here goes...
