Always like to create a team and send them through association filled with all free agent guys that aren't that good. While 2K improved the create a team feature last season, they still haven't made it as good as it should be and non of the uniforms look like the rest of the NBA. They force you to put logos on the jerseys when no team in the league has their logo on their uniform on the front so I just took the Sonics, placed a bunch of free agent guys and switched them out for Minnasota considering they are the worst team from the division the Sonics use to be in.

On my team to start with I had Allen Iverson, Earl Watson, Jarvis Hayes, Michael Finley, Jason Caffey, Jerry Stackhouse, Rashad McCants, Joe Smith, Fabricio Oberto, Damien Wilkins, Marcus Williams and Mikki Moore.

Not a team that was going anywhere, I signed Larry Hughes and traded him and AI away to Toronto for a 1st round pick and Barbosa, sent Barbosa packing to Cleveland for a 1st round pick. Leaving me with my own 1st rounder and ones from Toronto and Cleveland. Thought I would end up with 3 lottery picks to rebuild the team from but Cleveland managed to scrape into the playoffs.

Anyway, at the trade deadline. I traded my 2012 1st round pick to Phoenix for Steve Nash and their 2012 1st round pick. Believe it will be a steal for me because my team is much improved thanks to the draft.

We ended up with the worst record in the league at 16-66, considering Steve Nash was our only allstar calibar player, isn't wasn't a surprise but it was nice to beat the Nets record they got last season.

Went into the lottery with high chances thanks to our record and the Toronto pick. After the lottery was done, we ended up with the 1st, 3rd, 15th and 31st picks in the draft.

I was thinking of selecting Harrison Barnes with the 1st pick but I also wanted Perry Jones and Golden State had the 2nd pick and they were stated to pickup Jones with the 2nd pick so I ended up selecting Perry Jones with the 1st pick. Golden State went with Kyrie Irving with the next pick and it allowed me to get Harrison Barnes with the 3rd pick.

Also got lucky with the 15th pick aswell, managed to select Donatas Motiejunas. He was projected to go high in most drafts I've seen this year. And with the 31st pick, I went with Ibrahima Thomas. I needed a center and my scouts said he had A+ potential so he fills a need and might blossom into the player I need someday.

That mean my starters going into free agency were Steve Nash, Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones and Donatas Motiejunas and I needed a SF.

Tried to get the big name free agent, Carmelo Anthony but by trading for Steve Nash, that opened up alot of cap space for Phoenix and he went there. Not one problem because I got the guy I actually wanted, Tayshaun Prince.

I plan on this being Harrison Barnes' team along with Perry Jones aswell and having Melo on the team might of meant interrupting Barnes' development as Melo would of been the man on our team. But with Prince, we got a excellent role player to play alongside my rookies.

When next summer hits though it might be a completely different story. Chris Paul might become available and with Nash coming off the books, I might make a play for Paul and set my team up for years to come and if I'm really lucky, the Phoenix pick might actually be a high pick but after Melo signed with them, I'm not counting my chickens on that one.

I also hired a new coach called Casey Westphal. He is rated A accross the board so I now have an outstanding coach tied down to a 6 year deal, unfortunantly to make room for him, his assistant is on the completely other end of the scale and is F accross the board in his ratings.

Love it man! I was going to do this to, but not sure when. What did you make there unis look like? Can you use the 96 sonics unis when creating a team? I want to know because I live in Seattle.

One more question...Could I start a franchise with Seattle(created) and put all of OKC roster on the Sonics? I like your idea of using all free agents though

I tried trading ALOT for Melo in my ATL dynasty and the Nuggets never accept it.

Trying to decide what kind of association I wanna do. Either normal, fantasy draft, or control all 30 teams and play the best game of the day. What do you guys think?

no cause jamieson anit worth nothin nomore and gibson is a bum they would just laugh at you than say hell no lol. on the game want someone young than someone in the 80 overall who young plus 1st round picks

dont know what rosters you're playing with, but im playing with UNEDITED rosters from the 3rd update from online (i think from the 13th) and just added some DNA's from 2kshare (mostly livtheimpaler's, whose are awesome!)
anyway, jamison is killing it this year for me, the Cavs are under .500 but if nobody gets injured keeps putting up 23-10 a game, they have a good shot at the 8 spot in the playoffs (in my assoc of course)
They currently start:
C-Hollins
PF-Varajeo
SF-Jamison
SG-Parker
PG-Mo

and probably still have excellent team chemistry since theyve played together for a while and had so much success (with LeBron of course)

in real life, i dont expect them to win 30 games, but i dont think they'll be the worst team in the East

ok it the game and on the game they still wouldnt do that trade dude. i mean the game might have issues but it anit stupid. you not goin trade a top 5 scorer for someone who goin retire soon i mean that wouldnt make sense for them... plus on the flipside you would have to turn trade override on

Yeah, something they need to fix. I just started a Clippers Association AI signed with the Hawks and will probably get trade after about 10 games. It happens everytinme i start one. I'm used to it by now.

Decided to trade Baron Davis for Kirk Hinrich. I'm a Bulls fan, LOVED Hinrich's hustle he brings in real life. Wish the Bulls would of kept him!

Once E-Gordon comes back from his injury he will probably be the starting point guard for me though. T-Mac is tearing it up, if he still plays like he has been for me then theres no way I could put him back on the bench.

A Healthy Dwayne Wade returned to form for the Miami Heat as they held off the Charlotte Bobcats 102 - 97

Gerald Wallace was the leading scorer for the Bobcats finishing up with 31 points and 8 boards.

Wade lead all scorers with 36 points which included hitting 4 straight 3 pointers in the 3rd quarter! Lebron James also poured in 31 points had 5 boards and 4 assists. Chris Bosh who has been an automatic double double every night this season had 23 points and 16 rebounds as well as 2 blocks. Mike Miller is still out and but available to play. Heat Coach Eric Spolstra will not bring him back into the rotation till he is 100% with his balky back.

The heat moves to 7-5 sitting 3 games out of first place in the Southeast division. Atlanta is 10-2 but has lost 2 and a row after a 10-0 start. Orlando sits tied with the Heat at 7-5 and the Heat will be going to Orlando in 3 days.

The Heat looks to make it 2 in row heading into Orlando against Memphis at the AA Arena.

When the big 3 have all been in the lineup and healthy the Heat is 6-1 thus far this season. If Mike Miller can stay healthy and Chalmers and Anthony continue to progress there is no telling how good this team can be over the course of the season.


Thus far I have been playing Pro/Custom 12 minutes quarters and the game plays amazing. I used Pro/Sim base and tweaked from JD's Sliders,and maxing out most foul sliders.

My Bawbcats are 41-34, 6th place in the east.

Just lost a heartbreaker in OT against the Magic...almost had 'em.

8 Min quarters, Allstar/Default, working on my post game with Stephen Jackson, seeing some awesome results. Practicing as much as I can to be ready for the playoffs and making a potential run...
