Oh, and the big contracts of Frye and Warrick, what you're going to do about them?

Good luck there, I'm also a Suns fan.
I definitely dont want to move Richardson as he is a beast for my Suns. He is my primary scoring option. JR Smith wont fit my system as he will be hogging the ball from Richardson so i dont really see him as a trade option for Turkoglu. Warrick so far is serviceable and is averaging about 10 pts and 5 rbs.
Definitely hinking about ditching Turkoglu and Frye for picks or young up-coming players who are better fit to my system.

I know I've only played 2 games, usually never do this but had to make a trade to improve my 3 point game, traded CJ Watson and James Johnson (expiring contract) to the Magic for J.J Redick.

Only made a 3 point shot with Korver. No one else, getting ready to play Portland.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I made 4 trades, changing most of my players.
I was pissed off with Andre Miller and Camby, so I made some trades to improve the PG position.
And I also moved Lamarcus for a better PF.

        trade 1:

lamarcus, przybilla, babbit for STAT, sean williams, 1st round pick (knicks) and roger mason jr.

        trade 2:

wesley matthews, sean williams, elliot williams for taj gibson, korver and a 1st round pick.

        trade 3:

andre miller, camby and a 1st round pick (suns) for arenas.

        trade 4:

cunnihgnam, bayless, pendergraph, 1st round pick (knicks) for goran dragic and robin lopez.

        now, the rotation:

        arenas/roy/batum/stat/oden
        6th: rudy
dragic, mason, korver, gibson and lopez on the bench

I think my team is better now than before, we'll see what happens

Just lost to Portland 94-88. Rose had 26 points 5 rebounds and a career high 17 assists. Redick had 6 going 0-3 from deep. Finally made a 3 with someone else than Korver though Rose hit one early in the game. Need to look at a decent back up point guard. Any ideas?

Nevermind, traded for Shaun Livingstion and some other scrub from Charlotte for Kurt Thomas.

I decided to go with some one from my hometown (Peoria illinois) went to highschool with him, didn't hang around him but we had high expectation for the guy coming straight out of Highschool. Let's see if I can revive his career.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

currently 21-21 in my Cleveland Assoc. (simming 5 games and playing 2). Harrison Barnes is superb.

While I was playing I thought of an idea and made another Assoc. file, this time with the Raptors.

Off the bat I traded for Rudy Fernandez + Portland 2nd round (2011) for DeMar Derozan + Raptors 1st round (2012). Portland asked for my current 2nd round as well so I agreed.

Signed Larry Hughes to a 2 year 2.50 mil deal. I purposely paid him more to match him up for another trade I'm planning to do. Simmed the whole month of October and November and I ended up at 2nd to the last in the east. Then I made another deal, this time involving Amir Johnson + David Andersen to the Kings for 1st rounder (2011) + Darnell Jackson. They okay'd. Then simmed up a few more and won some games, moving me 3rd to the last in the east.

Simmed 'til the trade deadline and pulled off one final deal of the season. Marc Gasol for Ed Davis and Jarret Jack and 1st Rounder (from Kings, they counter offered.) And then Leandro Barbosa + Joey Dorsey to Minnesota for Wayne Ellington and their 1st round pick (not surprised that Minny has a lot of cap room). Then simmed until the end of the season (Celtics won the championship)

Did not resign expiring contracts except for Sonny Weems. (Julian Wright, Reggie Evans, Ellington). Went to off season stuff, and the Draft Lottery having two 1st round lottery picks (Minny was last in the West, Raptors was 3rd last in the East.) Got the 1st overall pick and the 4th. Went to the draft. Traded my 1st overall pick + Weems to Lakers for Pau Gasol + their 2nd round. They asked for Solomon ALabi to be included and I agreed, they said yes (YES!). Then went on to trade the 4th overall + Larry Hughes + marcus Banks to the Knicks for their 10th overall and Danilo Gallinari. They said yes. Then went on to trade the 10th overall to Mavericks for Boris Diaw + their 2nd round (yep he's in the Mavs). Then tried to sucker the Kings, traded all of my 2nd rounders (3) for their future 1st. They said no, offered it to the Nets, they said no, offered it to the Clippers, they said Yes. So I got no picks in the draft.

Went to free agency, found who I'm looking for, Marco Bellineli and Ronny Turiaf. Signed them to 2 years at around 3 mil each. Signed a low rated Ricky Rubio (from the draft class, thanks to who made that) for 4 years at 4 mil. Edited him to around 75. And signed Zach Randolph for 1 year 8 million. Signed Alexander Pavlovic and Darius Songaila for minimum. Signed Tyson Chandler for 1 year 3 mil. Went to start preseason.

Traded Rubio to Minny for their future 2nd round to bring him there for fairness purposes. Then traded Zach Randolph and Chandler for him and Kosta Koufos. They accepted.

Ready to start the Season now. WITH A EUROLEAGUE TEAM.

              Current lineup.

              Ricky Rubio
              Rudy Fernandez
              Danilo Galinari
              Gasol, Pau
              Gasol, Marc

              Andrea Bargnani
              Linas Kleiza
              Ronny Turiaf
              Boris Diaw
              Jose Calderon
              Kosta Koufos
              Marco Belinelli
              Darius Songaila
              Aleksander Pavlovic

i'm playing my first game after work.

                  Chairman's Kings Franchise (12 min qtrs, Pro/Default, real shot %) 4-3

Big upset down in La-La land!!! The upstart Sacramento Kings, led by SuperStar Tyreke Evans handed the Lakers their first loss of the year!!

Tyreke had 34 pts, 6 rebs, 6 assists and 2 steals, and outdueled Kobe Bryant (37 pts, 4 rebs, 7 assists, 3 steals) to carry the Kings to victory! Newly acquired Jason Terry was a big contributor for the Kings, scoring 17.

Dalembert was a beast inside, gobbling up 17 rebs, and blocking 5 Lakers shot attempts. The young Kings are now 4-3, and climbing in the Pacific.

                      And that's what I did

Actually, it's a little different than what I posted before:

Here's the trade in my Association in a little more detail. Basically it breaks down as:

                      To Indy:
                      Paul Pierce
                      Nate Robinson

                      To Boston:
                      Danny Granger
                      James Posey

                      then

                      To Golden State:
                      Kendrick Perkins
                      Jermaine O'Neal

                      To Boston:
                      David Lee
                      2011 2nd round pick
                      2012 2nd round pick

I restarted my Celtics franchise with Rashidi's rosters so I could have Erden and Harangody, and I couldn't be happier about it. While Erden sits on my bench this year, I'm grooming him to replace KG in year 3. Next year, he'll see solid role player minutes.

As of now, we're 2-1. I lost to the Heat in the first game of the season, 96-93. Ray Allen missed a 3 to tie as time expired. Then, I beat the Cavs by 13 and beat the Knicks in a simmed game. I plan to start a dynasty thread soon.

I know right. I'm targeting Dirk and Tony Parker and I'll have the Toronto "EuroLeague extreme" Raptors vs the NBA. But I'll stick to this bunch first. I won my first game already against Washington 81-76. Pau and Marc had 22 each, the brothers are monsters in offensive rebounds. John Wall was freaking unstoppable in and out though, 38 points and 8 assists.

Have you tried using Brewer for 3's. I set him up all day using plays and he drains them more than Korver.

My Bobcats are currently 5th in the east after dropping 3 straight...I think I've found the perfect difficulty with Allstar/Default right now...I've barely made any tweaks to the sliders and I'm getting an awesome challenge every game.

I was worried about the Heat, Magic, and Celtics all underperforming, but as the season has progressed, they're starting to even out. Right now, we're about 15 games away from the post season. Here's the Eastern standings:

                                1. Hawks
                                2. Heat
                                3. Celtics
                                4. Bucks
                                5. Bobcats
                                6. Bulls
                                7. Magic
                                8. Cavaliers

Biggest surprise: DJ Augustin...has a sweet midrange/3 point J...been KILLING it off the bench.
Biggest disappointment: Anthony Morrow...I'm SMH on this guy...I give him 3-4 solid wide open looks for 3 pointers a game, even making sure his shot timing is in the green every time, and he's shooting less than 20% from downtown this season....really not sure what's going on there.
You shouldn't worry about what others think of you, because if you knew how little they did, you would be insulted.

LIFE IS THE HELL YOU MAKE IT BABAY.
