I get this every year but honestly trying to wait until Christmas (that is when I really get into NBA anyways) especially with Fallout and Fable 3 coming out...BUT with that said I see all the sick videos and people talking this up and makes me want to pick it up today. What should I do?!!!

Two games in with the Knicks and I am 0-2. Lost to the Raptors 91-80 and lost to the Celtics 96-80. Anthony Randolph is out 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist and Wilson Chandler is out 2-4 weeks with a severely sprained ankle. Its already ugly in New York City. Toney Douglas may be the most frustrating player I have ever controlled in a sports video game. Misses wide open looks or gets to the rim and blows the lay-up. SMH.

Really? Toney was a guy I was hoping to get in my Bucks association, as a young prospect off the bench incase Keyon had to be dropped.

Don't have the game yet as I'm still at work but if everyone is hitting this, how does this get past QA? Only 2 trades in year 2, no trades in year 3 -> obvious red flag.

Idk, this sounds like a pretty big mistake.

Could be a glitch, it's hard to believe that the 2k team wouldn't sim a few seasons and see that the CPU was not making any trades.

So iv'e been simming a few seasons in association just to get a handle on how things pan out and iv'e run across something very interesting when it comes to CPU trading..

The first season there were a normal amount of trades, about 14, but then, here's where the problem comes in.

The second season there were a total of 2

Every season after that, 0 trades by the computer and I mean none. Even during the draft the only trades that were taking place were ones done by me.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, 2K please patch this ASAP, it makes association mode unplayable at this point.

Can anyone confirm this? I was getting hyped up about this game (haven't bought it yet) what with all the great comments about gameplay and the franchise mode (the first year, at least)... But this might be a gamebreaker if it's true since I like to go far into my franchises, only playing a few crucial games per season + playoffs.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could maybe quick sim 3 seasons into the Association to see if these results are typical or if it's just a glitch or some sort of anomaly (although I'm doubting it's a glitch...).

There might be some hope. I seem to remember an option to deactivate CPU trades. Im not sure if that relates to this or if its set to "off" by default.

Ill give it a try in a while if you dont get an answer before then.

Considering that all the teams seem to be really active as far as rebuilding there teams in year 1, im happy to see they calm down in year 2. 0 trades in year 3...weird. lol

Wow that is quite egregious. I can confirm that there's something strange going on.

Year 2 - 1 trade
Year 3 - 1 trade
Year 4 - 5 trades
Year 5 - 0 trades

There's a lot of d-league transactions though. There is also no signings during the season which is strange. Looks funny but I can live with that. No trading is ridiculous. Guess I need to play 30 teams until they patch this.

posted in the glitches thread that injuries are causing teams to change player roles which causes a lot of CPU players to drop morale really fast. End result is players wanting to switch teams so there's a lot of player movement that probably shouldn't be happening.
