What teams are you using to rebuild in NBA 2K11's Association Mode?

If you're looking for an actual rebuilding project then I recommend the Cavaliers. I've played three games and I'm already convinced it's going to be a looong season. For some reason I'm having a hard time finding a consistent offense with this group, especially from the bench.

I'm a Cavs fan, and I can't muster up the patience to play with them. You can't find any consistent offense because the offense took his talents to South Beach. That's what the Cavs get for failing to develop a TEAM as opposed to one player.

Just my 2 cents on the subject.

I actually find the Kings & Twolves not so fun, they have so much young talent that if you are any good in the game you can be elite right away.

I've used the Nets a couple of times in Quick games and they are a nice squad. I like the playbook. Lopez is solid inside and Favors also can score in the paint. Harris has good speed and can get to the rack and Murphy is good on pick-and-pops.

I think I'm going to roll with them. I tried making a move for Melo, but you have to give up Favors and Murphy for it to happen.

im the nets, the team has enough talent that you could just let them develop as is. i could see 2 seasons down the line favors being karl malone light and lopez being tim duncanesque. terrence williams isnt great at anything but is good at everything. they also have shooters in outlaw, morrow and murphy. devin harris is as fast if not faster than anyone in the league.

I never did like Favors actually. I actually wasnt a fan of him at Georiga Tech. And besides, I'm more of an Isomotion guy who likes to shake defenders and pop j's. The Nets are now Number One because I like the Melo Trade.

starting lineup

1 - flynn
2 - brewer
3 - johnson
4 - love
4 - beasley

no the two 4's aren't a mistake, i play with no center, just run them both as power forwards with beasley sometimes flexing out as a SF

i also have luke ridnour coming in at the PG as a sixth man role...the 3
s and the 4's are are interchangeable with ellington and webster ready to come in at the first whistle.

right now beasley is looking like he might be a strong mvp canidate with 14 ppg and 11 rpg (3 minute quarters)

Celtics would be great fun for a Championship contention team. I'd try replace Allen with say, Steph Curry, and eventually maybe trade Pierce/Garnet for a draft pick and a young pf (Cousins?)

Part of me would shoot for a Rondo/Curry/Hayward/Cousins/Perkins starting five, but I don't know if that's realistic in 2K11, I'm yet to get the game.

The Bulls should be fun too though. I'm planning on putting young MJ in them when I get the game.

Realistically, Steph Curry is untouchable. You'd be much more likely to nab Ellis from the Warriors, but it would take a whole lot more than Ray Allen.

This team came out of nowhere, but I chose: The Milwaulkee Bucks. I like Bogut, and Jennings has TONS of trade value. It should be interesting. What do you guys think?

Actually, I just realized that I saw more upside in the Washington Wizards. Just looked at their roster and trade value for their players, and I saw great oppurtunities to turn them into a championship contender. Javele McGee, Yi Jianilan, and Arenas can land me a very young stud and a top 5 draft pick. I see tremendous oppurtunities in this roster.

They're already a playoff team, so it wouldn't take as long to rebuild, especially with Jennings, Bogut and Salmons on the squad.

Well true, but I changed my mind AGAIN. I chose Cleveland. They are closest to my hometown, and they need serious help. Itll be fun trying to right them.
