i'm curious to what improvements you guys would like to see in association mode? i've played for 9months and can't think of any issues of the top of my head, maybe you guys can refresh it for me

Mostly just polish stuff I guess maybe the cpu team management AI trading AI signing players AI progression etc. I hate seeing 90 rated players in free agency down the line because the teams like the computer Celtics decided to have an old Rondo and 2 young prime point guards all making the max contract.

Progression needs to be fixed. It seemed like some players never improved and rookie faces even though it looks like that has been fixed.

First of all, bring back scores from around the league that was in nba2k10, don't know why that was taking out in the first place, playoff atmosphere and celebration needs to be better--- also more dynamic commentary years into your association, especially with past champions and the new rookie classes year to year, coaching changes needs to be revamped, those are the top 4 for me.

The entire coaching structure could use an overhaul. Retiring players (not all but maybe 5-10%) should show up in the available pool of coaching candidates. The staff should be larger with the ability to hire specialty coaches.

Scrap all the training for points and create a staff and coaching system that centers on designating certain players to certain staff members who can help work on and progress aspects of that players game.

IE I hire Bruce Bowen to work with my 2nd round SF who has a weak defensive rating.

More in depth and less repetitive scouting.

The ability to set the rotation minutes for your D-League team. This way you could really help your prospects progress early on. Along with this I'd like an option to start an Association with an empty D-League that would be filled with FA and subsequent undrafted rookies.

And please...please...just let us set rotation minutes for every team without having them reset once we actually start an Association. It's so annoying to have the game set every single team's rotations to 40+ minutes per game for the starters, despite having set them differently before starting. Same for other teams once we start the mode, let us customize other teams without having things reset once we change back to our own team. Association should be designed with the main idea of giving the user full options/customization to their hearts desire.

I hope they finally fixed team win/loss records. To many teams near 500. This has been a problem for years. I really really hope they added supersim. I would like to have the option of simming a quarter so I don't always have to play the whole game.

That's not accurate. There's no d-league in My player but the d-league is still in the game. This has already been discussed.

10 things I expect fixed or added to 2k12's Association mode

1. Sim Stats/Sim Results- W/L records are so freaking random. Sim stats are cool as is but need a lil tuning.

2. Injuries- player's rarely miss any games, too many "day to day" injuries and not enough players missing time. Defeats the purpose of building a solid "team" if you're a "sim season" guy.

3. Roster Management/Logic- could use a lil tuning, 2k11's logic was miles better than any other 2k basketball games. (also teams only use 8-10 men in a game...2k loves to empty the bench)

4. Chemistry- this is long overdue for a make over, they should adopt Choops version with some tuning to fit the NBA game.

5. Morale/Player Roles- long over due...

6. Customization- let us edit D League and coaches (D League coaches also)

7. Coach Carousel- A true Carousel where D League coaches are available for hire as well as NBA assistants.

8. Association Bugs- Dont want to have to wait for a patch to start a season just because a stupid bug is there... (like the last 3 years of 2k)

9. Summer league and Draft Combine- Nuff said...

10. The infamous Half Time show that I never seen in Association mode/ detailed ticker showing results of games

^ DAMN... OS is only allowing me to like this post once ... i couldnt have said my needs any better than this...

i would also like to see coaches have an ACTUAL effect on franchises in terms of adding points to players progression or awareness ratings after being coached by coaches that have certain talents... we cant get association info soon enough... only mode i play

i think they need to have a monthly show like in CH2k8.Even though they did it evey week in 2k8 but i would be happy with once a month showin things like power rankings,league leaders,trade rumors etc.And maybe a playoff breakdown show(selection sunday CH2k8) at the end of the year.Its more then possible with only 30 teams where 2k8 had like 10x as many.I dunno maybe im alone but i still play CH2k8 and watch these shows a ton and cant believe how good they are.Right now there isnt anything outside of gameplay in association that i really enjoy
