Us Knicks have slid from first in the East (13-7) and have gone on a 2-game losing skid to move down to T-4th. What sucks is during our 21st game, our first loss in our streak, we were doing well with me running the point as usual. I ended up with a decent game, but I played 35 minutes in the first 3Q, but than, D'Antoni decides to sit me for 7 minutes to start the fourth. With Davis at the point, we blow a 12-point lead and I'm put back with 5:39 left, and we're down 7! 7 points! We got outscored by 19 in 6:21! I hit a three with 23.1 seconds left to put us down 1 (103-104). We end up losing; the thing I hate is that when I get subbed out for long durations, either our team sucks for that stretch, or the CPU goes on steroids, which really sucks... Finished with 21 points and 16 assists, with 2 rejections.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yup, both have happened on a number of occasions.

Recently, in a game where I believe I was doing really good and we were down some, we were able to catch up and then my CPU team blew it.

After my 1st game over 40, I got my PF's Def Rebound to 93 and his Off Reb to 90. I am currently boosting Shoot in Traffic to 99 since it doesnt cost too much and it really helps. After SIT, I will improve Standing Dunk to 80 and starting boosting Block.

lol just came from school and checked my stats... my PG is averaging 1bpg and my block rtg is only 25. Blocks with my assist and pt numbers are looking nice. How many blocks does increasing the rtg get?

Blocks are easy especially with w high vertical

Thanks ktownage. Just moved into Top 20 in BPG. Only guard lol. Becomig a consistent 25-12 player, and just got name EC Player of Week. Also helps I got double-doubles and A+ ratings for he whole week's games.

Just picked up my first NBA 2K game today and decided jump right into it with an athletic small forward instead of playing some quick games to learn the game.

Name: Dexter Green
College: Michigan
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 255

Played my rookie showcase and had an alright game with 16 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 turnovers and ended up going to the Houston Rockets at 14th.

First game as a Rocket, I had a shaky start with two turnovers but I got the hang of the game soon enough. Finished the game, getting 19 minutes racking up 27(9/15 with 9/11 from the line), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 2 turnovers.

So overall happy with my performance and the team got the win. Earned a little over 9,000 skill points that first game so I took my Vertical to 99 which left me about 5,000 skill points so any suggestions on what to raise next? Thinking about ball security maybe or ball to become a force on the defensive end.

You're starting out your MP almost exactly the same way as I did. Even position, height, weight are all about the same.

Ugly second game, first game I ended up with a B+ second game I did awful. Allowed 14 points, turned it over three times and had two fouls. I had 22 points but the game was just bad, only finishing with a C while not even getting a minute in the 4th.

EDIT: Or...not? Lost power in my house during the press conference and now have to replay the game. Guess it is a good thing with how bad I was.

Well guess that helped, my defense was still bad but we got the win barely and I got another B+

Wow, first loss of the season is a rough one at Indiana. I was dominating the low block with my post moves but it wasn't enough because coach took out his highest scorer down six with about two minutes left.

Recorded my high so far, 36 points on 15/22 plus 6/8 from the line with two rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and two blocks to go with my two turnovers. But guess until I get starter type minutes I won't get played in those clutch situations.

Update: Got my first player of the game in my best all-around effort as we beat the 76ers to move to 4-1 versus Iguodala as we just could not stop each other. My best play of the game was a block on him then we ran the break down the court and layed in an alley oop off the backboard by Lowry. Scored 36 again with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 1 block with 1 turnover while Iguodala put up 33, 6 boards, 4 assists, 1 block with 2 turnovers.

Finally snapped our [Knicks] 5-game losing streak. Have won two straight, including a buzzer-beating 3 to break a tie with 1.3 seconds left on a perfect inbound play by Turiaf. We then dismantled Boston in the final frame, overcoming a 7-point deficit to win by 5. Put up 31 points and 12 assists. STAT pitched in 23 and 12 rebounds, and Melo put up 15 and 9 rebounds.

Our team is on a roll, and we have players in Top 10 for blocks [Turiaf], points [STAT and me] assists [me] and 3PM [me]

as for the post above, there isnt much LeBron cannot do on the offensive end. Put down his post play is the only thing that needs to be addressed. Most values will be 80+ in the physical offense and defense categories. Maybe tone down his offensive clutch lmao.

I wish the abilities were cheaper. Not real cheap, but about 2K or lesser. I maxed out ability for a player and I got an ability to Good. But if I didnt achieve a few milestones, it would of took WAY longer to get them. Like I said before, if I could I would sim 2-3 years in the future. Players on team would be better and got more talent on team. Like my PF's team Cavs. Kyrie would be better and we would have 2-3 top 5 picks.
I was looking at it last night. I realized the PF(#5 OVR pick in draft Cavs drafted in the 2012 draft) they traded for me, is almost a clone of me. He is just a a pound heavier(6'10 231). He actually looks like my player and has the same hairstyle(he just has skinnier jaw). He has similar playstyle too me. He is only 1 OVR point from me. He is having a better season than me too. He is avging 19+ppg and 9+rbs. I want to face him. I couldve faced him already. I had a game against the Suns right after a key game. I made sure I didnt sim it. I didnt play the game in a week. I made a mistake and simmed to the next key game. I hope I am able to face them again. That trade worked well for both teams. We(Cavs) are 9th in conference and they(Suns) are 8th in their conference. But, we have more talent. Their roster sucked before I left and it is not too good now. They only have him and Gortat. I think they have Boykins and Redd in the backcourt. And with the draft bug, they wont get good talent around them.

I was wondering if others are having this problem.

I made a 6'1" point guard (3pt Specialist) and was drafted by the Rockets. It seems they are using me as a combo guard mostly as I get more minutes at the 2 than 1. This I don't have a problem with, but the number of small ball lineups the team uses bothers me.

Over half of the game is played with either Terrance Williams or Kevin Martin at the 4.

I would imagine this has to do with the amount of minutes they are trying to allocate to all of the wing players and guards as Houston has a ton. (Williams, Martin, Lee, Budinger, Flynn, Lowry, my player, and Dragic)

I've requested a trade hoping to fix this but i was wondering if anyone has seen this mode overuse small ball lineups.

Is there a way to unlock new crossovers? I remember in 2K11 with a high enough ball handling rating you unlock new ISO and sizeup moves. Speaking of which did they remove the ball handling attribute? Will increasing my ball security unlock any new moves?
