I got my SG's Steal to 90(actually got my 1st on-ball D). I got his Vertical to 86. I will stop at 90. I will work on Defensive Awareness, then Shot Med. Then I will get Off Clutch and Consistency to 95(both at 90).
I am leading team with 19+ ppg. We(POR) are 27-10 and 2nd in conference behind Thunder. For some reason, we cant beat Thunder. We havent beaten Thunder since I got there. I dont like facing Thunder or GS. Both teams that are athletic up-tempo offenses that like to steal the ball and play tight defense. Harden is mismatch due to his strength and post abilty and speed. Ellis is a mismatch due to his elite speed and quickness. We are definitely going to the playoffs because most of the games I sim we win. But, most of the games I play we lose because I end up missing alot of shots and giving up shots. I have to give the ball up more, but when I do they pass it right back. I hope we can stay in top 3 in conference. I dont want to face Thunder, Lakers, or GS in the 1st round. I definitely am going to the East after the season.

Here the overall summary of my progress in my MP


1. 1st Season, drafted by the Suns (13th overall). I took starting job from Vince Carter after 10+ games so at first my team has Nash(85 Rating), Me (Start at 62 and became 90 at the end of first season since I played every game on 12 minutes. Didn't update any abilities yet), Grant Hill (Rate 80), Frye (Rate 66, at least he can shoot 3) and Gortat (Rate 70+, I think around 72-75).

Then, they trade Gortat for David Lee and Vince Carter for Tayshawn Prince and Ben Gordon, Childress for Udonis Haslem, someone on my team for Ron Artest (Old patch didn't call him World Peace yet) and Shannon Brown. Also, a few other stupid trades (Aaron Broke for someone I can't remeber) that get rid off all of bigmen in my team.

This is before the trading being patches so at the end of the season, my starter are: Nash, Me, Hill, David Lee (Rate 80) and Udonis Haslem (Rate 68 with 6'8"at Center????) and the whole entire new benches (beside Frye) My team get killed by post plays and rebounds.

I struggled at first since all I can do is shooting 3 but finally, as the time passed, I up my steal and dunk abilities as long as other abilities so I can do other things. Still rely a lot on shooting three. Nash is an excellent passer but no one on my team seems to score enough. I have to put up very big scoring to keep the team win. I played on Pro so it's not that hard to achieve big stats and win many awards, including a ring.


2. 2nd season, Nash (Rate 80 )and Hill (Rate 79) were old. I requested to be traded to Bulls. They traded Noah (rate 84) and Generated RC PG (draft 4th overall) for me.

I played all key games and several notable games. Occasionally play All-Star (besides pro difficulty)

The starter is Rose (Rate 94), Me (rate 90 at start, Rate 99 at the end of the season. Still didn't up abilities. I have high attribute enough to do a lot of specialty dunk such as 360 between the legs), Deng (Rate 78), Taj Gibson (Rate 74) and Boozer (Rate 78 at Center) Shannon Brown (signed FA after one year with me at Suns) Rate 75 at 6th man.

My team didn't trade for anyone after getting me so I guess the patch that came before I start my 2nd season work. My team keep winning but I still have to score a lot. Rose in the game are quite terrible, he ignoring open jump-shot or 3 pts and usually dribble to the paint getting blocks. He average around 10 asts but his scoring is below 20 PPG. (he got most high score games from simming. If he play with me in non-sim, he barely score more than 15 Pts)


3. 3rd season, Still with the Bulls after they exercised their team option on me. They drafted SF RC rate 78 to start above Deng (downgraded to 6th man). Unlike Deng, this guy lack of jump shoot so no one on my starting take mid-long jump shot anymore. (Rose has high Mid and 3pt Rate but he still trying to go to the paint and ignoring wide open jump shot everytime. he barely did amazing lay up in traffic like he did in real life. Forget about Boozer and Taj, their shooting ranges are terrible) I notice the alpabetical order draft that will make my Bulls get 4th overall draft pick very year.

The starter are: Rose(Rate 94), me (99. I up some abilities now, especially fadeaway and post-fadeaway to great. With 99 mid shot, I can do MJ's turnaround fadeaway as my new weapon. Really like this.), Grove (SF RC rate 78), Taj Gibson (Rate 74) and Boozer (Rate 78). Deng Rate 78 as 6th man.

Beat Thunders 4-1 in the final.


4. 4th Season, I wanna continue playing for Bulls. Bulls drafted RC 7' Center rate 72 (4th overall) as their starting while Taj rate was lower to 71. Grove, generated SF was upgraded to 82 but still lack of nice range shot. Boozer will be moved back to PF so I can play with the team with legit Center. However, Bulls offered me 3millions salary on 1 year contract for some reasons while other teams offered me around $12m-$14m/year). , still think I'm gonna have fun playing with them as a Bulls' fan. Due Decided to sign with Wolves becasue their amazing starting line-up and the huge contract I being offered.

Here my Wolves:


Too bad that Beaseley (rate 86, down to 79) and Wes Johnson (78 to 70) are not happy with their roles so their ratings drastically decreased. Both of them requested trade early in the season but I guess my GM can't find great deals so both of them are still on the team.

Beaseley contract is $10m+ so it is really hard to trade him for decent player(s). (Who has rate higher than 80 and willing to take 6th man role? I think none. This is how the game being designed) Wes Johnson are on last year of his contract so after post-season, I think he gonna test the FA.

My team current CAP room is -$25m. Hope that they can at least resign Rubio with this current CAP (also on last year of his contract. Wolves already exercised team option last season)





Lebron played amazingly but the coach usually bench him, especially with the huge lead situation, he may be benched almost entire of 4th Q. Therefore he average just 19-20 PPG.

Rubio didn't average much Points and Assists (around 10 PPG and 6 APG). Lebron usually played point-forward role and is the one who carry the ball to another side of the court. (Average around 7.5 APG) Anthony Randolph is very athletic. (I think 92 Dunk and 88 Vertical) He did a lot of alley-opp and played great at C. I never saw him lose on Jump ball (I didn't see him play against Dwight since I simmed pass that game but he always beat all other centers on jump ball)

Randolph and Love kill other teams on Rebounds. (Love didn't score much and average around 10 RPG. It may because other players can rebounds too, Lebron and me around 5-6 RPG and Randolph around 9 RPG)

Beat 76ers in the Final (This team got 1st overall draft 3 times in a row due to the glitch) Can't imagine what the team will look likes when I play a couple more years.

Also, top 5 picks will always great while the lateoverall pick or 2nd round will always bad. No way you gonna find great players from late drafts. Therefore, 76ers will always get good players, no bust while my T-Wolve (with 27th pick every year) will always get scrubs. Hope this get fix soon and the fix should apply to existing MP mode.

5. My 5th season, played through mid-season right now.

Last season, my first season at Wolves, we didn't have any back up PG. However, this season, my T-Wolve just drafted 2 PG rating 51 and 52 with pick 27 (both first round and second round.) The team give them 7 and 4 minutes a game. Seriously?

Update about my T-wolves in season 5th:



1) Rubio right now is at 83. he said he gonna testing FA. Does it mean that he gonna leave the team for sure? He signed one year contract worth around $7m last year. Not sure about chance he gonna sign a new one again with the team? (My team cap currently at -$23m) I heard that Rubio will hit 90 later so it gonna be bad losing him at the end of this season. I think with my current team cap, it will be hard to find a decent PG to replace him. Westbroke Rate 92 gonna test FA too but I wonder whether my team will have a chance to sign him instead.

2) Me, SG rate 99 (my attribute already maxed out and all of my abilities are at least "good" but I think I can't not get enough skill points to make all "great" until next season)

3) Lebron, Rate 99 right now but already 31 years old.

4) Anthony Randolph, rate 85, already got a "star" status. he played C last season but for some reasons, coach move him to PF. I prefer him at center since his amazing athletic ability.

5) Kevin Love, rate 84. He was moved to C this year. Too bad, he can barely jump so he mostly lose on Jump ball.


6th man is Beaseley, rate 87 right now (but reduced to 80 cause he is unhappy with his role) Wes Johnson is gone as a FA last eason.<!-- / message --><!-- / message -->

Just past the all star break in year 1.. My player has gotten Orlando to 1st place in the NBA at 47-13, I'm averaging 26.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and I'm shooting 44% and 39% from 3, 87% from the line.. As the starting PG for Orlando I've went 38-11, and 23-2 in the last 25

I linked up to my Youtube account when I 1st played the game. So, when I am in replay I save the replay and share in the My2k HD Media menu. It tooks a while for it to be shared and it takes 2-5 mins to show up in your youtube account

Does anyone know which attributes are the best to have a better OVERALL for your my player? I know both awarenesses boost it a little but I was wondering if there were any other attributes that boosted the overall as significantly as the awarenesses.

Depends on the position you play I think, my overall was nothing great getting deep into the end of my first season.

I'm a 6'10" SF and my rebounding was lacking, I decided to pump quite a bit into def & off rebounding and my overall went up about 3 points. Not sure if it was that only but it seemed as such because I was a little under 70 and after raising those two I'm now at 70 exactly.

If you're a small then I don't know what to tell you.

I want to make a PF or a C. Anyone that has made a PF or C have any advice as far as to which is, well...more fun?

And what is a better play style to start off with for a bigman, athletic or back to basket?

Eventually I want to become a LaMarcus Aldridge level post threat, but I'm worried about not being able to get 10 boards a night.

I was wondering if others are having this problem.

I made a 6'1" point guard (3pt Specialist) and was drafted by the Rockets. It seems they are using me as a combo guard mostly as I get more minutes at the 2 than 1. This I don't have a problem with, but the number of small ball lineups the team uses bothers me.

Over half of the game is played with either Terrance Williams or Kevin Martin at the 4.

I would imagine this has to do with the amount of minutes they are trying to allocate to all of the wing players and guards as Houston has a ton. (Williams, Martin, Lee, Budinger, Flynn, Lowry, my player, and Dragic)

I've requested a trade hoping to fix this but i was wondering if anyone has seen this mode overuse small ball lineups.

Also on the rockets but playing an athletic sf. Playing SS/sim. Was getting the same type of thing but im maybe 35 games in now and dragic and budinger only ever play during trash time. and williams while seriously undersized actually is fairly effective at the 4 because hes so athletic and if its a power type of player ill just slide down and take his man and he takes the 3 on D. Definitely an undersized team across the board but fantastic shooters, makes playing so much more enjoyable. Averaging a little over 29/14/14 on that MP.

I maxed out my PF's Shoot in Traffic(99) and I am one away from maxing out Shoot Low Post(94). I will max that out, Then get Standing Dunk to 80. I will then work on Dunk then Block.

just finished my 5th year 7'2 center, 2nd mvp, and scoring title in a row, 11th in rebounds 15th in blocks 1st in steals, 51% shooting from the floor, 27%from 3, next year i should get that up to at least 35, my 3 is rated 74, won my 1st nba championship this past year on the pistons, ecf series tied 3-3 after we blew game 6 i had 104 points for the all tme record, 17 rebounds 3 blocks 4 steals and 1 assist, went down 3-1 to the thunder then came storming back, the most epic moment of my career thus far came in game 6 when we were down by 10 with 2 minutes to go and i led us back to tie with about 32 seconds left courtesy of 2 steals and 2 timely 3 pointers, then the thunder went up by 1 and we went back and forth over the next 25 seconds, all quick baskets westbrook would not be denied neither would i with 7 seconds left and down 1 after a westbrook dunk we inbound the ball and i call for it run up court holding turbo as hard as i can, durant picks me up at 3 point line, 3 seconds left ust enough time to get around the free throw line, i pull up and hang for what seems like foreve in the air trying to avoid durants outstretched arms and with the clock at like .3 i release and swoosh weforc game 7 and win the nba title in a blow o ut n game 7 and im the mvp of the finals, have yet to start season 6, btw m starting 5 is rodney stuckey, bogans, lebron james, some cpu generated scrub at the 4 then me at the 5 the rest of our roster is terrible as well but me and lebron more than make up for the terribleness!
