Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
i created my Athletic SF
Name: Shane Galloway
Height: 6'9
Weight: 260
Number: 0
Postition: SF
Playstyle: Athletic
College: OSU
Drafted: #13 Suns
I really just wanted to make a guy who is plays primarily SF, but is big enough to play PF and fast enough to play SG. now i can step in at PF and cause mismatches with my speed, as well as play SG and cause mismatches with my height.
In the showcase i had like 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists or something. i shot only like 40%, i was forcing a lot because well its the showcase and i really didnt care about my %
i got interviewed by the Jazz, Pacers, and Suns. the Pacers wanted me to move to SG since they have Granger, told them no. i already have a player on the Jazz so i told them i wasnt gonna play for them. and so i told the Suns i would play for them, because i didnt want to drop way back into the 20's since then my contract would suck
i love Nash, and i will love playing with him, even though we probably wont win much, and they usually trade him eventually. but still should be fun for a while. i will probably leave either when they trade nash, or maybe stick it out til my contract is up. unless they trade and get some talent or sign somebody good, i will leave for sure.Comment

I want to create mismatches among SGs and PFs. I will create a 6'8 245 Athletic SF. I might create a post game so I can abuse SGsComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
I just set the Charlotte Bobcats team records for points in a game (43) and field goals made in a game (20) in a 101-94 victory over the GS Warriors at Oracle Arena in Oakland. I also had 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and a block. The win brings us to 7-7 on the season, and we've won 3 in a row since I joined. I also made my first career start in a thrashing of the Kings. I already love it hereComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
After receiving a scare from the Celtics after they win three straight to go up 3-2, we finish them off on our homecourt and move into the easiest Conference Finals. Us vs. the Magic. They beat the Bulls in 7 behind Howard's 42 point, 22 boards performance in Game 7.
The Bulls beat the Heat in 7 games, despite being seeded 7th due to Rose's injuries through the season. The first two games vs. Magic, we just steamrolled them. Melo came back as a starter this series after back spasms, and I totalled 38 points, 35 assists those two games, and became more of a Steve Nash type PG instead of a Rose-type, and it seems to be the way I can play for us to win...15~20 PPG/12~15 APG and high percentage shooting with few shots. Getting the plays run for the other guys, and me playing this way is the formula for us. We lose Game 3 99-94 after a 9-2 Magic run in the closing two minutes. Game 4 is at the half at home, and we're winning by around 15.

Dissapointed we won't be playing the Nuggets in the Finals, as they've been the only team we have a losing record in the season series to. (1-2) The Thunder and Lakers are in the West Finals, and Kobe and Drew have been powering them.
Averaging 27.7/10.6/3.3 for the playoffs, and third in FG%, 40 3PT% and have gone 68-68 in FT in 16 playoff games. Top 10 in EFG%, TS%, PER, Efficiency, Win Shares, Game Score and all those stats.Canucks | Packers | Blue Jays | Lakers | Raptors

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
How do you save the camera angle if you change it? It was on Turbo, then I switched it to High and it saved, now I want to switch to 2K but I have to switch it every single game
I dont understand why it will save the sounds every time but not the camera angleComment

You have to have auto save on and then it will prompt you to keep that camera angle.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
SF
Name undeclared
6'8 250 SF/SG
Athletic
Brazil
I had 15pts, 3 rebs and assists, 1 steal, 50% shooting and 100% from FT. My points came from around the basket and freethrows. I had a alleyoop dunk and a contact and-one dunk. I played a great defensive game. Besides Derek Williams and Fredette, I shut down the players I matched up with.
I have a updated roster. I passed on Rockets, Jazz. Even though 76ers have so good wing players, I want to play on a defensive team. If anything, I will ask for a trade in the 2nd/3rd year, if they draft a SF.
My offensive ratings I will boost 1st are Shoot in Traffic and Free Throw. Defensive will be On-Ball D and Steal. Then Vertica Strength, and Consistency. I will use the 5+ Dunk.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
year 4 with my PF. we(cavs) were 3-2, then i hit play next key game, which was a couple weeks away. i almost cried as i watched the calendar while it was simming, we were losing a lot. then as my key game approached, it stopped being a key game and it simmed?? i guess i was injured or something. so then it simmed a bit more to my next key game. and now we are 11-34...wtf?? our team is rated 90 OVR, 87 teammate chemistry. we are second highest rated team, i just dont get how we have the worst record in the league, but whatever. i guess this season is a dud.
in other news, the celtics just traded Garnett and a pick or something to the Bucks for Chris Bosh, so now LBJ and Bosh teamed up again, this time in BostonComment

Well, Coach Hollins got fired. We lost another in what was sort of a close game against the Hawks. There wasn't a problem with our offense and trying to score, it was our DEFENSE. I didn't check the team stats but I guarantee they shot at at least 80% from the field. I don't get why 2K made defense so bad this year, it's plain ridiculous. Also what's with players on your team running out of bounds on the baseline? I know 2K said they got rid of the "barriers" when it came to out of bounds but no player constantly runs out of bounds when wide open for a layup under the basket. Grrrr ):<
