        PG/SCORING/KNICKS/YEAR 2/SUPERSTAR DIFFICULTY

Our next game is against our biggest rivals today, the Heat. We are sitting Number 1 seed in the East, with a 0.5 game "cushion" on the Heat. We've played one less game, however. We're nearly identical, with two "Big 3s" on each side, and we both have exactly same centers in Ilgauskas and Okur, who are having 'redemption' years and are both averaging "10 and 7".

Will be great, and on Superstar, I feel is most realistic, you'll have super teams do what they're supposed to do, and all the players fit into their 'niche' on the team and their skillsets, like Carmelo will score the open Js and play great iso and drive the lane. Amar'e will score his mid-range open Js, play good iso and drive the lane hard. Even guys who are at the end of their careers, still play well when you set them up right; he's great at drive-and-kick mid-range Js and he finishes extremely well, still.

I really want to move up to Hall of Fame though...what are the keys to victory in terms of offense and defense? What do I need to do to help us suceed?

With LBJ injured and only playing 35 out of 60 games so far this season, Knicks are going to rack up the hardware. Me, Melo and Amar'e already were selected all as All-Star Starters, and me and Amar'e are most likely going to head the All-NBA First Team, with Melo in the All-NBA Second Team. All three of us are in the award race for MVP at 1st, 2nd, and 4th and I hope D'Antoni wins back-to-back Coach Of the Year.

That's nice. too bad that according to 2k's glitch, we can't be all-star starter at all.

7times for my MP and even if being Derrick Rose in CAL, I was reduced to bench#12 even if I got the highest vote by a huge margin. (even 2 times more than any other players) Sometime, my role in my team was reduced to bench after all-star too. (Even if being Derrick Rose, CJ Watson start over me after all-star glitch.)

                Does this change yet?

Nope, still the same. Although, last season, my 4th year, after the all-star game, my minutes remained at 41mpg. I don't know if it was just luck or not, but I'm hoping it is like that for the rest of my career. I'm over trying to be an all-star starter, I get millions more votes than anyone else.

If you simulate the All Star game that glitch never happens. I can care less about the AS game so I have simmed it two seasons running and no minutes decline what so ever.

Is there anyone here who is just a beast at isolation driving hard to the rim?

It is the main thing I've been practicing, and I'm getting pretty decent. But I'm trying to figure out how the game decides which animation it is going to choose for you.

Sometimes it does the vertical faceup jump, where your player jumps straight into the defenders chest and swings his arms out wide for a floating layup, sometimes my guy literally attempts to jump over the defender with me landing on his shoulders and just flipping the ball up in a last ditch effort.

And then other times you get the worst animation, where he jumps with one shoulder into the defender and tries to toss the ball up with the outside arm over the defenders arms. This one almost never works.

Is it random when you attack aggressively, or is it based on defenders height, your speed, etc?

I'm just trying to figure out why certain animations happen in seemingly identical situations.
"You honestly don't really feel it when the shots are going down. You don't ever get the goose bumps until the fans start to appreciate what you're doing."

Play the best basketball possible! It's challenging, but not as unrealistic as some people make it. It does force you to play almost perfect every single game, though.

You speed, quickness, vertical, layup, dunk, **** inside and close are all factors. Also, when driving, the direction(left or right) is a factor on which finish your player will end up attempting. Also, since you didn't mention it, dropstep & eurosteps are Very useful. I'm assuming spin layup/dunks are as well, but I never tried. You might also consider running to the restricted area before triggering to shotstick, or inside the restricted area. With all that being said, trial and error and learning how to read to defense and help defense are important.

Does anyone have any tips for playing a center? I want to make a beastly center since there aren't a whole lot of good centers in the nba these days. The thing is, I'm not great at rebounding, even with big 7 foot centers. I always seem to get boxed out and I don't know how to do a whole lot of post moves either. Also, how can I make sure that I get a good amount of touches on offense. I'll probably be playing 7 minute quarters. Any tips?

Your definitely gonna have to call for the ball, and once you start scoring your teammates will pass it to you more. What style of play are you looking for out of your C ?
