Seriously it really stupid how they make it seem like a lay up is the hardest thing in the world.

My SF has 97 Vertical, 80 Layup and 70 SiT and he will miss 7/10 lay ups where contact is involved. I will draw the contact and foul but my guy is 6'9" and can't get the ball above the rim half the time.

Someone told me that upgrading abilities helps a lot with that. Hopstep layup and dribble abilities.

But honestly, how often in an NBA game do you actually see no-contact uncontested layups in a game? Not that often. Even Rondo and Westbrook get contact on nearly every one.

You just have to expect contact and raise your SiT up a lot. On my first PG, once I had layup 95 and SiT 99 my layups started dropping. I would get over five and1's a game.

Milos Flowers/ Scoring SF/ OVR 87/ Season 3/ Pacers

Milos is in the running for MVP, the Pacers have the second best record in the league with 10 games to go, and all three buzz ratings are over 90. Milos has 2 shoes- Milosterone and Milosophy. Ha!

The Pacers are a great team for MP. The consensus is they just need a superstar and now that MP is that superstar West, George, Hibbert, Hill, Granger, and collison make some mean role players.

I jacked my 3pt up to 93. I just chuck 'em. It's a little of an exploitation of the game favoring the long ball. In transition it is pretty easy to get enough space. It's not unusual to shoot 50% from 3 while shooting 42% from the floor.

Now that MP is really good, I'm not in a big hurry to make him a 90 something ovr. It's borderline cheesy how good he is now. So I'm focused on winning, not SP. Which primarily means being willing to drop the ball in to Hibbert and West, since post entry passes never=assists. When I was really going for A+ grades and SP I would only run pick and roll plays with the big men. I'm also only crashing the boards when needed, favoring getting out in transition. My assist and rebound numbers are way down but I'm averaging 30ppg in 7 minute quarters, and that seems to be what the team needs.

Home court advantage and finals here we come!

Rashard Lewis dropped 8/10 3pt over Beasley. Having KLove out right now hurts, DWill isn't bad, but its a lot better when we have him coming off the bench.

As for contact layups, my layup is 90, SIT is 99, I have the most success with both drawing the foul and making the layup if I branch the layup, or select a reverse layup. If neither works, really work on the pump fake lay-ins. It takes control, but are pretty effective.

got interviewed by the Knicks, the Pacers, and the Bobcats, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with the Bobcats, so I told them off. I told NY and Indy I would love to play for both their teams, and the mock draft had me going to the 17th pick byNY but I eneded up falling earlier than expected to the 15th pick by IND. and I am 7th in their rotation. I'm getting about 12 MPG.

I did find out that if you tank the Rookie Showcase game, you still get interviewed by the general teams. (Charlotte, NY, Houston, Phoenix, Utah)

I decided to try something different as a SG w/ 3pt specialty. I never passed off and took every mid range and 3 pt that I could. On defense I ran to the ball, no matter what. My team score was plummeting with all the bad shots and leaving assignment penalties. I did find out there is no F- score.

I ended up with 28 points. I still got interviews from Charlotte, Indy and Houston. I tried to either tell them that I was the greatest or tell them that I didn't want to be on there team.

I got drafted by Denver at 21st(?) pick. Just finished the month of November. We are leading the West by .5 game, I'm 6th on the rotation and leading all rookies in scoring in the league. I have an average B- team score.

Nice change being on a different team.

PG/SCORING/KNICKS/SUPERSTAR DIFFICULTY
40-13, T-1st East (Heat)

After boosting my speed (by buying w/ SP) to 95, I've become incredible at slashing, and it's paying huge dividends in terms of scoring. If you can combine the dribble moves with effective drives to the rim, you're almost unstoppable, scoring and drawing fouls makes the game so much easier, even on Superstar/HoF. Averaging 30 PPG since I upgraded speed above 90, but my assists have been taking a toll...down from season average 12.2 APG to 9.8 APG this recent stretch. We're playing lots of good teams now, ones in the playoff hunt, and it's important to win, as we are deadlocked with Miami for first in the East, with nearly 60 games over. Just looking at the standings, if we finish 1st at playoff time, in the second round, we could be facing the Bulls...wow.

Whenever we get majorly blown out, either by me being on the bench or otherwise (Magic shooting 50% 3pt s.s) I just pick a stat I want to raise and just do that the rest of the game and stop paying attention to the score. Usually start passing up all open shots of my own and just focus on getting assists, or trying to experiment with different shot technique, etc.

I've got a 6'3' pass first point guard. My mid range shot is already 80 and I've maxed my shot in traffic. I'm wondering what drills and attributes should i focus on next?

I stopped playing My Player after my first year when I found out that the draft was in alphabetical order. I had loaded the 2012 class so seeing Philly get Anthony Davis hurt, especially since the Cavs traded everyone good except Andy and Irving. Tristian Thompson was traded and we got plaenty of high picks in the draft.

So I'm on the cover of several sports magazines, but the Cavs were only able to get Jeremy Lamb, who happens to play my position as well. I was so angry man that I left My Player and 2k12 and vowed never to play it again until they fixed this problem.

This was 3 months ago.

I put it back in my PS3 last week to play Association and I had just finished my first season. When I saw the mock draft I noticed that the order was alphabetical, but the draft ended up being in the order of the lottery results.

At least that didn't go completely haywire, but that glitch in that programming is all over the game. My Player draft results are obviously based off of the mock draft of every draft class, but since the mock drafts are in alphabetical order, this program glitch is doing the same thing.

So in other words, if they fix the mock draft order then they fix the My Player draft order.

Does anyone know if there is a max amount of MPs that will show up on your profile on the website? I created my last guy three days ago, we are 40 games in, and I tried to upload stuff - and yet he's still not showing up when I log into the site.

If your console is not connected to the internet your player's profile will not show up. I play 2K12 offline and when I went on the website nothing showed up for my player.

I got Hands to 85, U will stop at 90. I do see a difference. I snap the rebs instead of tipping them. I naxed Quickness and got Speed to 77. I got Vertical to 87. After hands, I will boost Shot Med then Consistency.
I found a good Post Fade Away. It doesnt have much height or fade to it, which means it can be blocked. But, it is quick and I can time it. Once I get bigger milestones, I will max Post Fadeaway to great, then start working on Fadeaway. I would say Post Spin, But I hate having to wait until the animation is over until I can press dunk, if not I will do a bad hook animation
Since I dont plan on buying any purchases, I am buying boost cap boosts. I got Vertical +2. I will do it one more time. I will get Def Rebound +2, Speed +2/
